Sphinx02:I hate shorthand writing. |
JennyJuggs:Those names I gave you post job adverts on this forum. I'm simply asking you to follow them and other job threads so that once any Job that aligns with his field or general field is posted, you can copy it and send it to him to send his CV to the address. Do you get me now? If you don't, say no. |
But even our old men are guilty of these. What other point do you have? |
Simply follow the Jo/Vacancy Chatroom, Debbie and Eremy, this section and send him invites. |
Mugabe! A man who knows so much but acts like an intellectual pauper. Despotism only leads to one thing: anarchy of the mind. You may seem victorious today and the oppressed weak, their is a psychical barrier you've created that will always make rebellion palatable. I hope his death don't destroy that country. |
The last time I nearly cried was the day I watched John Q. Denzel Washington's love for his child. The failure of the system and insurance companies almost made me cry. His love was just too much to stomach. The last time I cried watching a movie was in 2007. I was watching Tears Of The Sun by Bruce Willis. It was a story of the pogroms that happened before the Nigerian-Biafran war. |
Of course he has a point. The world is crazy though. Hitler is hated for his Nazi ideologies but some religions who are worse than Hitler's Nazi are being tolerated. What a world we live in! |
Boole3:You are welcome. |
johnydon22:It's not fair. When you are expecting a life-changing mention but you are seeing grapes everywhere. It's not fair. |
Guys, please tone down on the mentions. Please. |
Sapiosexual indeed! |
Read more about it here. http://www.mortalpoet.com/monkeypox-all-you-need-to-know/ |
Boole3:Okay. It will get better. You need a strong mind for now. Mentality matters. You need to have a strong sense of self. No human being is better than you. Grades are simply grades. They don't make or mar us but our response to them could make or mar us. School knowledge is not better than street knowledge and vice versa. How you use it matter. Don't let any grade define you. You can learn simple businesses. From the guy frying donuts on the road, to the woman frying okara balls, etc. Drop pride if you want to succeed too. Don't be proud in asking a course mate explain a topic or subject. You can read these two articles to help your mental energy: http://www.mortalpoet.com/can-conquer-depression-uplift-mind-urbanization-lifestyle-vs-urbanization-mind/ http://www.mortalpoet.com/dont-waste-your-pain/ |
Wow! Please nobody should tell him he has to become a doctor or even an Architect. I look at artists as demi-gods. I mean artists who use those infrared lights to hide messages. No one should tell him what to study, please. |
blackweaver:Thank you. Bought two in a store one on the street. The whole thing pissing me off. I never bought a fake memory card all my life until I moved to Lagos. |
ChukwuSolomom:Lol. Okay. |
Seun, Mynd44, Lalasticlala, what's your take on these persons who always derail the conversation with their hate speeches on the front page. Does it mean this cannot be stopped? What about employing a front page moderator who monitors and executes the punishment squarely? Aren't these shameful? |
ChukwuSolomom:Your price/word is? |
This one seems like he's going to be a worse puppet. I will not encourage anyone to vote in a puppet. Time for men to grow some balls. |
I rather suggest it is time to look inwards. Changing of slave masters doesn't free the entrapped mind. No foreign country really wants you to solve your problems. |
I just love this woman. I love how she thinks and the thoughts behind her books. I love books that stretch the mind like Dan Browne's series. We need more women like her. She's a gem. |
BiafranBushBoy:Lol. Even some of the interviewers are confused. You wonder how simple words and synonyms will deny anyone an interview opportunity. Not even a job. |
It may not have a direct effect on those who don't understand what it means but to those who understand it, it creates a complex. It creates a superiority complex that enables the containment of an erroneous self worth. It makes these ones feel they are more important than everyone and irrespective of your view on it, it tells on you. Saying that you spend the money and don't care what's written there is an oversight. Same goes for saying you don't care if our National Assembly looks like a mosque. It has no direct impact on you, but because symbolism is powerful, because symbolism creates an impression in the mind, it creates a complex in the minds of citizens. Let's take the 50 naira note for example. We have the Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba cultures in it. See how these three tribes carry themselves in Nigeria. Whenever they look at that note and see their cultures, just three cultures over the hundreds of cultures we've got here, that ego is massaged. That idea that they are better than everyone is stimulated. Symbols matter. From the Eye of Horus in the American dollar, to the cross and moon of the Christian and Islamic folks. Symbols matter. It may not affect you but it affects how others, those people who understand and appreciate it, respond to you. Better care if you want a spiritually homogenous country. |
SimpleBea:Thank you. This is the third I'm buying around. I'm tired. How do I identify an original and you recommend a good place I can get one in Lagos. Just 16 or 32 GB is okay. |
Racism is higher in the East. Asia is home to the most deadly form of racism. From India, to China, to Malaysia to Saudi Arabia. Have you ever seen a black person in a Chinese movie? Watch Bollywood and tell the roles given to Black Indians. Poverty. Suffering. Etc. The racism there weigh 1.21 Gigawatts. I wouldn't live in Malaysia, Saudi Arabia or India for free. Most times you see in the news black people killed on accusation of drug peddling. But most of these killings are racial killings. In India they lynch you openly and nothing happens. Africans have to wake up. Some even suggest in their religion that the devil is a black man but you still see black people defending them. Wake up, people. Stop helping their systems of control. |
Humbleamanda:Run. They are time wasters and GNLD marketers. Run. Use the chatroom next time to ask questions. ![]() |
Read this article. http://www.mortalpoet.com/corruption-is-not-the-problem-with-africa/ The problem is not corruption or poverty but the loss of values. The institutionalization of low esteem and low value of life. The entrenched idea that the life of a Nigerian is not important. It is from that that all other abuse ensue. |
goshen26:Like the other dude said, FLEE. |
You have a point but I wouldn't squarely blame on it on the certificate. I think we are also responsible to an extent. Pursuing any degree didn't stop us from looking at other means of livelihood. Our idea of success and our idea of what a certificate is ought to offer us were faulty. Their were students who studied and had other means of income. They were rich students who didn't become wealthy through illicit means but pure hard work. And they combined it with the degree program. They had a good understanding of what wealth entails but we don't. Some persons looked at them as confused and not too serious. They may have appeared so but they knew what they wanted, how to get it and they went for it. Most of us don't and still don't want to adjust. We knew what we wanted and placed all our hopes on an erroneous idea of the benefits of a certificate. |
Lalasticlala, Mynd44, Seun, let's create awareness. |
M2dX:Invite? I don't really know about that. I know their are suspicions but I don't understand it enough to make any submission. |
diamondchi123:Hope you do apply for accountancy jobs? They litter this place every week. A friend of mine read the same course and after helping with jobs here, in two months she got one. And please don't use that nwokochalove to send application letters. They won't take you serious. Use your name and surname@gmail or yahoo.com. For the depression, don't stay alone. Solitude doesn't help depressed people. Mingle with people. Talk. Do things that keep you in high spirit more often. The sunlight is also useful. Don't hide from it. |
