That's what he's saying. Sniping long distances or shooting an arrow involves those factors you mentioned, but deadliest in his context might mean it has more accuracy as per all the factors you listed. Note that it can go beyond 2 miles too. That two miles is only it's most effective and accurate range.


Then from your screenshot on page 1, the Canadian riffle took almost 10secs to reach 3540m. This Russian riffle moves at about 900m/s and would take around 4secs to reach same 3540m. That kind of speed will give it advantage to overcome atmospheric conditions, thereby making it more accurate/deadly.

In essence, it means within a range of 2miles, you should really wish a sniper is aiming the Canadian rifle at you and not the Russian rifle or else the odds are very very slim.
