Ok so this is how it works, it is expected that you will resign when relocating to Canada so you will have access to about 25% of the total amount in your pension account (Just submit they statement as POF). You don’t have to retire to access your pension savings, if you loose your job, you can apply with proof and that same % will be credited to your account. isaacola57: let's say for example if I am 50 yrs and I haven't retired I have 10 million in my pension account can I use the statement as my pof.. u know I can't cash it cuz I can't retired.. can anyone help me with this answer |

No it’s like a bank statement, you can request for it at anytime. isaacola57: for pension statement must the person have retired? |

Question 1 - Yes, $24,083 for family of 4 (check exchange as at when you submitted in July) Question 2 - No, it must be $24,083 or more at the time of submission Question 3- it depends but save to include a LOE if it is not the usual amount paid into the account ( any substantial lump sum that seems like you're tryin to pad your POF should be explained to avoid red flags) Goodluck. Deniya: Dear Seniors ,
I have an ongoing application and my POF for a family of 4 currently sits at 6,689,161. We submitted in July and at the time we had very little overage compared to the required minimum. The rates are so high now and this has an impact on our submitted POF. Please my questions are:
1. Is the POF rate locked after submission? If not 2. Can we deposit funds into it to bring it to the required minimum? And if we do, 3. Do we have to explain why there is a lump sum inflow?
Please help answer and if this has been asked and answered before I beg you to help paste the link so I can check it out biko.
Thanks again all and God bless you all. |

Yes pension statement is acceptable as POF. We used it for ours. So go ahead and request for it from your PM, submit the pension statement in addition to what you have in your bank account. Secondly due to exchange it is advisable (not mandatory) to have a little above what is requested for your family size (except if your POF is in USD) Goodluck. omaihe: Hello All, I am glad to be on this platform. Please i need guidance.
I recently received an Invitation to Submit Application for Saskatchewan EOI (October) . Currently my POF in account is half of the minimum balance and
Kindly advise if Pension statement balance (which is over the minimum POF balance required) can be used to support my POF. If not, how can i explain any major inflow that might come in during this period which obviously would be less than 3 months before application submission if i choose to sell some properties at a short period like this.
Lastly, is it advisable to have above the required minimum balance rather than sticking to the minimum balance of the POF for the family size?
I will really appreciate feedbacks and suggestions from you all.
Thank you.

Hello I am not @ladymarshal, but I may be able to guide you, if I don’t have the answer. NStar: Please I just need help. I have been on nairaland since last year but still do not understand how to make posts or follow a trend. The first time I tried posting I was banned, and that made me to only read without commenting.
I received ITA on 4th March and I have been busy gathering documents and filling my application as well. Unfortunately, I still can't direct my question to the right part and it is affecting me already.
Please someone should coach me. I need to follow this nairaland family with all my strength.
@ladymarshal, I tried sending you a mail but was restricted. Please I need help. |
