Its been over three years that I got hit on a side of my head by a rolling fan. Even though I got the cut treated immediately at a clinic, the wound healed up to form an ugly keloid scar. I was advised to remove it surgically about a year ago, but it has regenerated into a bigger and awful scar. I have tried my hands on couple of cream, and have been injected on the scar spot once, but all seems not to be bringing forth the desired result..


Fellow Nairalanders, kindly offer appropriate tips to help remove this horrible keloid. Thanks.

I wanted to tell you to use injections to clear it. my son has similar problem but am still waiting for him to grow up small to inject him as some people told me. if there is any good cream you know please tell me let me use it on my son.

hmmm, the hostel wasn't bad in 2011/2012, but the toilet was mostly messed up with tissues and those dirty peeps who find it difficult to flush.

WHY OBASANJO ENDORSED BUHARI

Why am taking a swift from supporting General Buhari . Just few hours ago, Obasanjo endorsed General Buhari as the man to deliver this nation. I was personally shocked, when I heard the news. This is because, I was expecting Baba to stay at the touch line, and leave Nigerians to study his body language. But the masquerade could not control his dance in the public market. Hence he mistakenly flogged his own mother who is also a trader in the market. Nigerians, I am left with no option than to tell us that, these ex-generals and their boys are up to something. The issue at hand is not all about the presidential seat. But rather, the national cake (oil blocks). Less I forget, is it not the same Obasanjo who woke up and hand picked his puppet 2011, who eventually grew like Joseph the messiah of Egypt? Is it not the same Obj that told us 2011, that General Buhari is too old to rule this country? Is it not the same Obj that told us Buhari is a dictator? Somebody should have a rethink like me. We must understand the preacher's language before decoding his message. If Obj can take a swift and prefer General Buhari to Jonathan, a puppet he dedicated his energy and resources to win 2011 election, then as an average Nigerian, we should have a rethink and ask our leaders what is so special in Aso Rock. If leadership is to serve the people, why is it that,the ex-generals finally gang up against their new recruit on account of change? It has been exposed that the APC through Chris Ngige secretly paid a controversial clergyman called Rev EJike Mbaka a whopping eight hundred and fifty million Naira, to attack Nigerian President Jonathan, as part of their strategic dirty campaign of lies, deceits, fabrication, distortion, intimidation and blackmail.

The money was arranged by River state Governor, Rotimi Amaechi. It is not a secret that Amaechi hates President Jonathan. So When the idea of bribing the dodgy priest was brought up by El-rufai and Buhari, Amaechi quickly volunteered to make the fund available.

This is not the first time the controversial priest has patronized APC. During the Anambra state governorship election in November, 2013, 28 Worshippers died in a stampede caused by APC and its supporters.

Chris Ngige was heavily implicated on that tragedy. He tried in vain to blame it on Peter Obi who was then the governor of Anambra state.

But despite all the attempt to smear peter obi, it failed.

We have in our possession documented implicating APC and Chris Ngige to that tragedy and the current bribing of the despicable Rev Mbaka.

An AirAsia flight travelling from Indonesia to Singapore has lost contact with air traffic control with 162 people on board.

Flight QZ8501 lost contact at 07:24 (23:24 GMT), Malaysia-based AirAsia tweeted.

Search and rescue operations are under way.

Malaysia's national carrier Malaysia Airlines has suffered two disasters this year - flights MH370 and MH17 - but AirAsia has never lost a plane.

Flight MH370 disappeared on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing in March with 239 passengers and crew, and MH17 was shot down over Ukraine in July, killing all 298 on board.

The AirAsia flight had been due to arrive in Singapore at 08:30 (00:30GMT).

The missing jet had requested a "deviation" from the flight path due to bad weather, the company said.

There were 155 passengers on board, with 138 adults, 16 children and one infant, the company said in a statement. Also on board were two pilots and five cabin crew.

An official with the transport ministry, Hadi Mustofa, told local media the plane lost contact over the Java Sea, between the islands of Kalimantan and Java.

He said the plane had asked for an unusual route before it lost contact and that the weather had been cloudy.

AirAsia has set up an emergency line for family or friends of those who may be on board. The number is +622 129 850 801.

The company's chief executive, Tony Fernandes, tweeted: "Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. We must stay strong."
