doyin13:Used to be? ![]() How did Arsenal win their last major trophy? ![]() THEY COULD ACTUALLY PLAY.How did they get promoted if they cannot play? When Arsenal players went after Evra last season after his MEN VS BOYS remark. . .Did United complain Arsenal players set out to injure him? I smell hypocrisy from you bloody LOSERS. Karma is a biaaaaaaaaatch and maybe, maybe Ramsey deserved what he got. |
doyin13:Arsene "The Saint" Wenger is a bloody hypocrite. Under his stewardship, his players have copped more than 80 Red Cards setting out to break opponents' legs. He is a foreigner and he deploys more foreign players so the whole British theory schitzo is nonsensical. |
doyin13:Hehehehe The coaches are the ones playing on the pitch i guess. ![]() How many British players featured in Moscow when Chelsea and Man Utd battled? |
mystikal:It does cos some retards are arguing here that teams set out to injure Arsenal players. I am now asking if RVP set out to injure the players in the clips deliberately. Is it even rational for anyone to think Tony Pulis would tell his lads to go on the pitch and ensure they break legs? doyin13:What is at stake in European competitions? How come Lille for example doesn't deem it necessary to hack the English playersA relegated team from the EPL makes more money than the winners of UCL. There are rough European teams as well. The way you hacks are debating. . . .One would think RED CARDS are not bandied in Europe for dangerous tackles. Check out Axel Witsel's tackle on Youtube. Au contraire. . .you actually hear the English commentators chastising the EnglishDefending is part of the game. . . . . Maybe FIFA should remove defenders from the game. Change the game to 5-a-side with no goalie so 5 strikers can play 5 strikers to suit Arsene Wenger. ![]() Its a cultural thing in England. They are the ones who do not recognise its a differentAnd yet their teams continue to dominate European teams. kay_pumpin:Coming from a fan of a team that had Vieira. . . . . .This is priceless!!! U know how many RED CARDS Vieira copped under Wenger? ![]() |
kay_pumpin:As if Arsenal players don't roughen up their opponents as well. Did Van Persie not try to blind Stoke's goalie with a dangerous kick last season in the same fixture? I guess he set out deliberately to injure an opponent as well. Bloody hypocrites. [flash=425,400] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNPDTivssKk&hl=en_GB&fs=1&[/flash] [flash=425,400] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nvPRkHJmJg&hl=en_GB&fs=1&"[/flash] |
doyin13:Dayokanu is a drunkard. The English league is the best in Europe. UEFA ranking is the pointer. It is this approach to football that still has people put off by some aspects of the Premier League. That is not the point. Sporting Lisbon are in Portugal competing with other mediocre teams with no significant difference in team quality. Stoke, Birmingham and Hull are in the Premier League competing with Man Utd and Chelsea. Lack of money does not excuse them from developing good football teams rather thanThere's a huge gap between Man Utd and Stoke. One club can shop with £90 million to buy players where Stoke's transfer budget in a season is not even £20 million. How else do you expect them to play? Tip-tap? Play into the hands of United and get pasted 6-0 then relegate? ![]() The money at stake here in England has made that choice difficult. Survival is the KEY. If Sporting Lisbon were here, they would do worse than Stoke or Burnley with £40 million TV money at stake. In cup competitions, there's nothing at stake and this is why you can see Leeds coming to OT to beat United or Burnley sodomising Arsenal. When Ipswich was qualifying for Europe a few years back, they did it playing football and notDifferent era ma friend. |
doyin13:Mid-table teams do what they can to survive in the Premiership. Of course, they don't have the same quality as Arsenal so they play to their own strength. If roughening up is the way to survive, by all means let them do it. The Brits actually love em tackles. A derby without tackles ain't considered to be a good one. |
debosky:Stop talking like a retard. No one is justifying the tackle. . . . .I am disagreeing with Wenger saying teams set out to injure his players. The issue here is not whether the tackle was 'intentional' or not - Shawcross' leg did not rise of its own accord and strike Ramsey, neither did Ramsey see Shawcross' leg there and decide to ram his shin into it.Has it ever been allowed in the game? Shawcross made the tackle and he got a RED card for it. . . .So what silly allowance are you talking about? Till these types of actions start getting punished with more than mere 3 game bans, the same punishment for slapping an opponent who isn't even injured, then these types of tackles will continue to happen. So they should give players 12 months ban for a tackle made without any evil intention because Ramsey got crocked? What a toad!!!!! kay_pumpin:Davis has been in and out of the team since the injury. He recently injured the same ankle again and he's now out with no return date. Reports claim Gallas' tackle weeks ago was responsible for the off n on pains in his ankle. Believe me,being high on nasal hair follicles is better than someone who posts rubbish like he's cranio-pagusly conjoined with a mule. The player has been punished. . . . He got a straight RED for it. You retards are saying the tackles should not be allowed. . . .Was it allowed before the game that such tackles can be made? Jesus Christ. . . . .U GAYnners are sensationalists. Reh reh reh should not be allowed in the game. . . .Arrant nonsense! |
doyin13:Thanx for this input. Debosky is just ranting like a deranged bat. . . . .I have seen worse tackles in this league with no one getting punished for it. Ramsey came off worse. . . .Shyte happens! |
debosky:U are a disgrace!!!! Real injury my backside. . . . . .We must assume this is the first time such an injury would occur in the history of the EPL. Arsenal fans and their moronic perspective. Was the foul intentional? NO!!!! Is it even remotely possible for 22 players kicking the ball about not to kick each other in a freakish accident? Such tackles should be CONDEMNED. I don't buy this 'never got a red card' nonsense.Take Shawcross to court for GBH!!! kay_pumpin:At least check your facts before accusing anyone of spewing heresies. . . http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php No one has said Shawcross is a murderer but does the fact there was "no intention" make the tackle less horrendous?I don't get what you are on about what when the career of a youngin is in the hang and the only thing you can come up with is this unadulterated balderdash i think you need to go lie down.U must be high on your nasal hair follicles. Everyone has agreed it was a bad tackle but for Arsenal manager to be saying players set out to injure Arsenal players is a disgrace. Tackles have always been part of this game. It will still happen and it will always happen. When the same team has experienced the nearly the same kind of injures 3 times over a spate of 5 years, don't you think they have a reason to raise eye brow and feel victimized? They don't. . . . . . . . |
chamotex:He's been in and out of the team since then. Besides, it doesn't make Gallas' tackle any better than what we saw today. Gallas' studs were up and he marched on the dude's ankle. debosky:I won't be surprised if excuses are not being prepped for this incident. "Arsenal lost the title because Shawcross broke Ramsey's shin. The injury got to Ramsey's team-mates and they were emotionally and psychologically damaged to make any genuine title challenge. If they had Ramsey in the first team for the last 10 games, Arsenal woulda won the title with 19 points clear." |
rasputinn:Y'all make it sound as if it's only Arsenal that play all these teams from the lower rung. United, Chelsea and Liverpool play them as well. It's Football. . . . .Get on with it. MOTD just cleared the incident now. Shawcross went genuinely for the ball. . . .no studs up!!! I am glad Capello invited him to join the 3 Lions team tonight. Shawcross needed that boost. He isn't a dirty player. He's never copped a red card before. Gallas' tackle on Davis was worse. |
rasputinn:Harmless stamp? Don't be ridiculous. Mark Davies is crocked with no return date on his injury and that was due to Gallas' horrific tackle. |
Ibime:WORDS OF A PROPHET. . . . ~Sauron~:https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?topic=362607.msg5382568#msg5382568 |
bgees:Don't mind Wenger and that labia called Cesc inducing sympathy from all and sundry. It's hard to tell from a photograph how malicious a tackle was, or how much of the injury was caused by Shawcross. There have been cases of players breaking their leg on the most innocuous of tackles as well (Cisse). John Arne Riise's shot broke Alan Smith's ankle and he was out for 6 months in 2006. I'm not saying that's what's happened, but for Wenger to jump to conclusions based on a poor perspective and after the break has occurred is a bit premature. There's no clear evidence that it was Shawcross' foot that caused the break? It could have been his leg or knee the way they fell into each other. Fabregas did not moan to SKYSPORTS when Gallas broke Mark Davis' leg some weeks ago. [img]http://www.free-football.tv/content_images/gallastackle.jpg[/img] |
rasputinn:It was an accident. Arsene Wenger should shut up. . . . . .His players are not exactly Saints as well. Wenger's players have been guilty of breaking the legs of their opponents in the past. . . . .They should stop this moronic THE WORLD AGAINST US. Shawcross did not do it intentionally. He was weeping on his way to the dressing room after the incident. |
nateevs:Nateevs, stop hyperventilating. Whether Arsenal will win it or Liverpool will clinch it. . . . .It's only about 10 weeks away. Fasten your seat-belt and letz see what pans out in the end. I have got confidence in ma team. You should be confident with yours. It's an OPEN title race and even Liverpool must now feel they have got a chance. In another 5 weeks, the boys shall be separated from the men. |
geefivez:I agree with you. City will beat United 10-0 and Arsenal will win ALL their remaining games with a margin of 5-0 each. Wenger will win the league title and the UCL and will be knighted by Yaradua. ![]() |
geefivez:They won't get 3 points against United. The referee clearly helped em win the 1st leg after converting a freekick outside the box into a penalty. Mike Dean is a fraudulent man. |
geefivez:We have beaten Citeh twice this season. They are nobodies to United. . . . .We copped 6 points from em last season and we shall repeat that again. akinalabi:Typical Arsenal knee-jerk reactions. ![]() |
HNIC:Of course, Citeh are on a HIGH after beating Chelsea. With Ade, Tevez, Bellamy and Santa Cruz running full speed at ya. . . . .U won't be comfortable. Anyways, letz wait until then. arkinses:Big Sides. . . .Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd. Man City are mere pretenders. |
kay_pumpin:Blame Wenger's demons. ![]() HNIC:His defence has conceded 32 goals. ![]() |
HNIC:They disgraced you TWICE this season already. . . . What is the odd that they won't repeat the feat again. |
HNIC:How many has his defence conceded? ![]() |
doyin13:Arsenal have to face Man City, Birmingham and Spurs as well. The big names might not even matter. . . . .Chelsea have not lost to a big side this season and their loss column reads FIVE. |
Krayola: ![]() |
chamotex:He did. . . . .He gave Arsenal all the 50-50 decision after Ramsey's injury. Cesc tackled someone from behind without getting anywhere near the ball. . .The referee didn't even have a word with him. TYPICAL!!! Overall they deserved the win. The title race will go down to the wireAfter playing 10 men for 30 mins? Enyimba woulda deserved their win against the tired Stoke players. 10 games to go. . . . .United just a point off the league leaders. . . . .It's United's title cos we have got the experience to see this through. I cannot say the same about the Arses. |
How did Cesc get away with that tackle? This ref was just desperate to console Arsenal for Ramsey's broken leg. HNIC:Shut up. . . .U don't have a nephew!!! ![]() |
HNIC:The referee helped y'all. That was a clear BALL TO HAND. . . . Arsenal win 3-1. Vermaelen scores. |
This referee is a joke!!!! |
chamotex:Eduardo is a kike!!! What a useless player. Even Eboue woulda buried that. This referee is a retard. He gave Arsenal a penalty. . . .for what? Because of Ramsey? |
doyin13:Nah. . . . .It's the RED CARD. Stoke are now being too defensive. . . .Trying to protect what they have got which is reasonable. Shawcross/Ramsey killed the excitement left in this game. |
