debosky:Debosky, we cannot see the poll result. What is going on? |
RuuDie:He played 3-5-2 against Wolfsburg. The only difference was JS Park who played as a wing back and was dropping back as a RB and bombing forward as a winger. when we reverted to 4-4-2, did you not see the see some form of sanity return to the entire gameWith the benefit of hindsight. . . . . ![]() |
LIVERPOOL ARE NO THREAT TO MAN UTD. After last season saw Liverpool mount their first serious challenge for the Premier League title this decade, some are backing them to go a step further in the 2009-10 edition.SAF is god, tkb417. ![]() He made these comments on the 5th of August even before a ball was kicked this season. 99% of the Pundits in UK tipped Liverpool to win the title this season but only SAF's analysis was spot-on. He lost on Fulham because all the managers in this world put together wouldn't have salvaged a point against Fulham with 8 defenders out. tkb417:So if you were SAF @ Craven Cottage, who would you have played and what formation? |
RuuDie:Hindsight analysis. . . . . When he used it against Wolfsburg and United won 1-3, did you complain? Shit happens, get over it. I cannot fault SAF for using that formation on Saturday. Credits to Fulham for taking full advantage of our hopeless situation in the defence. |
Krayola:Pique? The same Pique Rijkaard sent to us so we can develop him? You are a disgrace. Messi? Messi is still stuck on the right and he is allowed to roam. Keita, Busquets and Maxwell are surplus to requirements. How many of these idiots will play in a CL-final if everyone is fit? Now Maxwell, Ibra, Chygrinsky, Pedro, Jeffren. . . I don't even know what to say to u anymore. U are beyond cluelessSee this mumu. Here, only Ibra deserves a mention and he was a straight swap for Samuel Etoo. What has changed? Has Guardiola changed the way Barcelona play under Rijkaard? Did he discover the best players in the Barca team? If u have a clue what we played like under rijkaard u wouldn't dare say Pep has not changed the system, but debating that with u will be like arguing with Nemo. In your world playing the same formation means playing the same system. In fact, silence is the best answer for u on this one :-You are a plonker. Chelsea under Jose Mourinho played 4-3-3 but see how Ancellotti has improvised a new system/formation with the diamond system. To me, that is innovation. The general belief was Anelka and Drogba couldn't play together under Grant/Scolari. Now, Ancellotti is playing em together and getting good results. . . . .Pep Guardiola has not done that to Barca. ------------------------------------------------------------ debosky:I will be disappointed if the same schitzo happens again. If it can happen 3 times in a row. . . . . . .It will happen 10 times in a row if y'all are not careful. |
Krayola:Let Guardiola build his own team and stop feeding off other manager's credits. He is so daft he has stuck to Rijkaard's 4-3-3 system. What expertise has he brought to the Barca team? What innovations? SAF has not won sextuple his entire career. . . U betta bow, and give credit where it's due. Ure startin to sound like Ja Rule when 50 cent dropped his 1st album.Guardiola has not won 2 league titles in a row in his entire career. Guardiola has not built a team he can call his own in his entire career. U are beginning to sound like a Camel being sodomised by a Gorilla. ![]() |
tkb417:Arsenal win what? GAYnners cannot win this league till Wenger collects his P45. Aston Villa have a better chance than the GAYnners. |
akinalabi:Don't mind the losers. That United are even 2nd on the table after THREE IN A ROW is a disgrace to Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. |
debosky:It won't cost nada. . . . . . 4 points difference at this stage is NOTHING. United will get that 4 points somewhere next year. Our injured players will come back as new signings. Traditionally, United get better as the season progresses so there's a lot to cheer. Krayola:U know it's a fact. . . . . . Any manager that inherits Puyol, Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Etoo and Henry should win titles. Rijkaard deserves all the credits for putting a dead Barca on the map in 2005/6 when Barca were forgotten as a big club. |
Krayola:Shut up your mouth and let us breathe. United won quintuple last season on the back of having won the previous two league titles. Let Guardiola win 3 La Liga titles in a row before you start your erections. Guardiola inherited a good team. . . . . .Rijkaard deserves all the credits not Guardiola. Onigbinde will win the Champions League with the Barca team Guardiola inherited. SAF has built teams, dismantled it, built it again and dismantled it. |
debosky:Nope!!!! The match will still be played on a later date so i doubt they will apply auto-sub to that. |
tkb417:Tonight, i think. . . . . meaning im getting at least 2 pts added to the 54 i hadBy January 1st, i should be in the top ten. debosky:Smart move!!!! If they don't do that. . . . .there will be 10,000 claims of injury compensation by those jobless touts. Wigan will have to pay £££££££££££££££££££££££££ because fans fell on their backsides. Injury Law is the biggest farce in the world. |
akinalabi:Don't mind Debosky. United trounced the bottom 12 teams last season home and away bar Newcastle(home) to win the title. Of the 72 points available against the bottom 12 teams, United copped a whooping 70 points. That was how the title was won. Liverpool came on top beating the toughest opposition but they won nowt last season. |
tkb417:Auto sub!!! Shawcross did not play for Stoke City so Assou should fill in for him. |
tkb417:Assou Ekotto will bail me out. I have 6 points to take from him. |
debosky:It's the worst news for me. I had Rodallega in ma team and he was bound to score a brace tonight and the useless UK weather messed things up. Rubbish!!! I am losing over 20 points on this nansense. |
debosky:It was 3-0. Pay attention to details, amigo. 3 points per win yes, but the quality of the opposition matters as well - Utd's tough league start last year meant that by the time they got into their stride they played poorer teams and thus kept their noses in front.United won the title last season beating bottom teams home and away. The head to head grand slam fixtures did not yield anything so it's imperative a team beats the smaller teams. You should have sufficient nous to realise that London derbies are often close encounters - Both Wolves and Portsmouth were summarily dispatched by both Arsenal and Chelski so that should tell you the Hammers case is different. Why wasn't Manchester derby a close encounter for us? The same Pompey that tonked Liverpool 2-0? |
debosky:United trounced these teams convincingly in August. ![]() Arsenal has played Chelski, Liverpool, Sunderland and Burnley in that period - Utd dropped points against ALL those teams. The ones in bold were all AWAY games. Utd in contrast faced the bottom three teams in this period, all of whom they beat. The only win of note was against Everton whom have been poor so far.Chelsea and Arsenal played West Ham in that period and they did NOT record a victory against the Hammers. |
Cristalz:I raise me hands up for going a bit OTT about this comment last night and for that i am retracting what i said earlier so sorry for the outburst. |
debosky:Shut up your dirty mouth, you spastic GAYnner. LAST 6 GAMES: Chelsea W3 L1 D2 11 points Arsenal W3 L2 D1 10 points Liverpool W2 L2 D2 8 points Man Utd W4 L2 D0 12 points Not a bad record with all the injuries. ![]() |
jalether:Maybe it's because United fans are not used to FAILURE like you do. ![]() |
nateevs:Anelka might solve this problem though. He seems to revel playing alone upfront than being partnered with another striker. Having said that, nothing is certain. I think everyone should wait to see if we do something in the transfer window before y'all start counting your chicksWhere is the cash to splash? Lets even assume there is cash, who do you buy? Lets even assume you cop a striker, how soon will he adapt? |
Siena:An average prisoner in the UK costs the tax payers £110 everyday. House arrest will quadruple that. Onwubiko himself will slap many of his supporters here cos i am sure he musta learnt his lessons by now. He deserves to be deported. No question about it. |
jalether:Make una leave Sauron and his Ipswichness alone. . . . U nuccas should get a life abeg. . . . United lost 0-3 and so? |
Krayola:What is this drunkard saying? Why didn't you play the diminutive Xavi and Iniesta as centre-backs against United? Wes Brown is a RB that played as CB against Barca in the season United knocked Barca out. Vidic was absent in both legs and i remember Brown making the triumvirate of Henry, Messi and Etoo look like laboratory retards. 180 mins without a goal says it all. your team is all hype and no substance. injuries is NEVER an excuse for a big team. that why u are called a BIG team!!U cannot win 3 EPL titles in a row in the same league that has got Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea and be all hype and no substance. Pep Guardiola cannot win 3 La Liga titles in a row in La Liga where the quality of his rivals are nothing compared to EPL. Who would Barcelona play in the defence with Valdes and 8 top defenders out? Please answer this question or shut up. |
nateevs:EPL teams have not learnt their lessons about Man Utd and it's a shame. If Man Utd are within a touching distance to the league leaders by New Year then they will win the EPL. Traditionally, the rack up more points in the 2nd half of the season and that is where i feel Chelsea will finish 2nd/3rd. Can't wait for Drogba and his cohorts to get to Angola. ![]() |
Krayola:Which of the players here are not defenders? Is Puyol a midfielder? Is Sylvinho? Is Pique? U must suffer from amnesia. ![]() |
~Borat~:I thought i told this loser to stop quoting me Since your attention span is shorter than a leprechaun, this is another reminder. |
agabaI23:Brown and Vidic will be back by then. |
ritchboy:Hahahahaha. . . . . . . .Nani is going to the world cup, can't say the same about Joe Cole. |
Phony200:A point against Fulham with 8 defenders missing out . . . . .SAF must be super-human. |
Phony200:Homie, get over it!! I was more pained with the Chelsea defeat than the loss at Fulham. What could SAF have done to prevent the defeat? 8 defenders missing. . . . . Should he have played his wife as a centre-back against a very decent Fulham team? |
