Rodwell is just like Gibson, Fletcher etc. . . . solid but unspectacular.

Wilshere is like Arshavin, Ribery, Rooney, Messi etc. . . . a playmaker with skills that money cannot buy.

I was at Emirates for the Emirates Cup. I was sitting up in the roof watching some short guy run rings around everyone. . . . from where I was, I thought it was Arshavin. . . . the nucca played exactly like I would expect Arshavin to play. . . . it was only when he was substituted that I found it it wasnt flucking Arshavin, but it was Wilshere. . . . thats the greatest compliment one can pay to the boy.

Rodwell is a good player, but lacks the stamina at the moment. . . he just looks elegant to little effect. . . . the difference in Evertons midfield due to the injury of Phil Neville is clear to see. . . . Rodwell cannot step into Phil Neville's shoes as a DM in any regard. . . . . he lacks the stamina and ruggedness. . . . on the other hand, Im 100% certain that Wilshere can step into Walcott, Arshavin or Nasris shoes with little noticable drop-off in quality.
