Would that help us to work in same direction or mar our relationship since we would be hearing different doctrines. Now my kids are neither here or there fully. |
Please lets view it from both moral and christian perspective. Would that suggest that there is no longer love? |
It would be recalled that in recent past, the same fate befell the "Area C" Command situate at Ojuelegba. The resultant effect was that the Police Station was set ablaze and the Police recorded several casualties. My sister-in-law was hit by a stray bullet from the Army from Abalti Barracks as she was trying to use the pedestrian bridge there. The bullet pierced her breast side and she died instantly. If the Soldier that was killed at Badagry or wherever was a civilian, nothing would have happened to the Policemen. It is because the guy in question was a Soldier in mufti and that is why it is causing a lot of undue sensation in NL. Many have died unjustly through the activities of Nigeria half-baked Police force. They do not want the name changed to POLICE SERVICE as has been done in most African countries today. They want everything to be by force and this boosts their ego in the wrong direction. It is also worthy to note that the Army promised to investigate the matter during the Area C crises, but whatever the result of the investigation was, it was never made known to the public. Nobody was accused, none was prosecuted, none was jailed and none was tried and acquitted for lack of evidence. No apology was made to the general public for disturbing their peace when apparently, there was no war. There was no compensation to the bereaved families of those who fell by the Police/Army bullets. The Presidency promised to set up a commission of inquiry into the cause of the fight between two elephants, hut I have never seen any commission of inquiry come out with any result. I think Commission of of inquiries is just another way the government makes illegal monies for themselves because a special fund is set aside for the officials who is headed by a CHAIRMAN. It is time we start getting things right. Do not expect any investigation from what has just happened. The matter will die there! Take it or leave it, the Presidency must be scared of the Army who is capable of planning a coup any time. GEJ must thread with caution, or do you all think he is a fool? The fear of the Nigeria Army is the beginning of wisdom for the government. |
You don't have to be a "big man" to drive V6. I have used Honda Legend 1992 Model. I bought it since early 2003 and sold it last year 2010 I never changed the engine for once. The only difference is that where you use a 4 Litre Oil for your 4C, you use about one and half for your V6. Every other thing remains the same. It is the same amount that the mechanic will still charge for any of them irrespective of the engine capacity. When you are on the road, the V6 gives you a more comfortable and confident ride more than the 4C. I cannot go for less. You don't change spark plugs every month. The difference is just 2 plugs. I only changed plug 3 times while I was using my legend all those years ( though I buy Original plugs which are expensive) and I have gone to the east more than 30 times with AC 24/7. Mechanics are not the best people to ask for guidance in such matters because they are resistant to changes in our dynamic society. |
reindeer@ I guess your are either a nurse or your mum/sister is a nurse and that is why you are saying this. All government owned hospitals have this rude attitude. Twice in recent past i had attempted slapping two nurses for rude comments. Is it a crime to ask questions when you get to the hospital? They expect you to know everything ranging from where you get the drugs, where you make payment for the drugs, there the morgue is etc when they know you do not work there? I have told them many a times that your profession demands that you show compassion to the sick. You do not even have to learn compassion 101 or 102 in school. Most Nigerians pass through School but they never allow the School to PASS through them. Nigerians go to school with an aim of passing an examination. I would not mind going to jail for beating a nurse. Male doctors are even more professional than the females who are heading because they are wearing lab coats. Please don't let me discuss the student doctors as the though of it would bring tears to my sad face. Let them be. Virtue is its own reward. |
I hope the woman can cope when she the dog meets a sexy bitch? I will see how long her love will last. He who lies with scum; becomes scum! Stupidiani !!!! |
Mine was just one unit of used laptop and I was made to part with N27k almost the price of a fairly used one in Nigeria. I was of the opinion that laptop is DUTY-FREE in naija during the reign of OBJ Pls help |
Mine was not termed DUTY. It was sheer extortion by NDLEA officials. |
I had an almost similar experience. A friend of mine sent me a refurbished laptop from Spain. I was patiently waiting for the delivery to be made to my home address as indicated in the parcel in Spain but to my dismay they just brought me a piece of paper which read that I should come to their office (UPS) at Mafoluku and pick up my parcel in person. When I got there I was directed to the NDLEA office behind the main building. I was asked by the officer in-charge to produce the following:- 1. My ID Card 2. Senders Passport number 3. Senders evidence of means of livelihood in Spain (Documents from his employer) 4. Fax number of Sender 5. Telephone number of Sender 6. Income tax clearance from the sender. Well, I couldn't provide all these since the guy was doing me a favour by giving me a Laptop. When I told him he was furious but there was nothing he could do. I went back home sad. I came back after two days as a friend advised that the officer was actually waiting for me to negotiate with him knowing fully well that there was no way on mother earth that i could provide the needful. I saw the officer and told him that I was ready to negotiate for the release of my Laptop. He made funny excuses but when he saw how serious I was, he opened up and at last I got the Laptop after parting with N20K. The value of the Laptop in Nigeria as at that time was about N40K. I also had to pay another N7k to UPS office for the release. That was my experience. Now, I know better than to have a friend or relative send me anything from abroad. It's not worth the trouble. |
@sexylogan, You can check Kenya Airways and Emirates. I don't know how much the ticket will cost you but if you can ask the airline, they will be glad to assist you. If you go to Seychelles, you will not want to go to the United States or UK. The only problem there is that cost of living is very high because virtually everything you need is imported. Seychelles does not produce anything except for maybe one or two garment industries there. If you want Close-up, it is imported. You must pay high price plus tax on it. But it is indeed a lovely place to be. i will make out time to post some pics at my earliest convenience. |
If you know that you are not running away from Nigeria like an average Nigerian would do, then I will advise you to go to the Spanish Embassy and ask them their Visa requirements. If you meet their criteria, you would be given a Visa as they do not eat their Visas. You do NOT NEED TO BUY A VISA!! |
I didn't get mine through the Chinese Embassy. I had to package my documents to Hong Kong HKSAR for the Visa. That was far back in 2003. I don't know if the process have changed now. I have been there severally for business but things are very expensive in HK. Why not try China. HK is a very beautiful city but since you are not going for tourism, I will advise you go and buy your laptops in China. Inshort, you can't find a market where tokumbo laptops are sold in HK, but you can see that in China. I hope you have been adequately briefed on the subject matter. |
You are right kandiikane. Those places are very OK for honeymoon in Africa. Goodluck! |
I WILL SUGGEST SEYCHELLES. IT'S IN AFRICA BUT A LOT OF FOLKS HAVE NEVER HEARD OF SUCH A WONDERFUL PLACE. ON ARRIVAL TO SEYCHELLES YOUR FIRST THOUGHT WOULD BE THAT THIS IS THE ORIGINAL GARDEN OF EDEN. The Visitor’s Permit is initially valid for the period of visit of up to one month. It can be extended for a period of up to three months from the date of issue and capable of further extensions for successive periods not exceeding three months at a time to a maximum period of twelve months, provided that the person still meets the criteria of a bona fide visitor.
