Marriage is not for everybody. The comedian has not told us if she ever wished to get married. In Nigeria, everybody thinks it's a crime to be single when you are pushing 30/35 yrs. Mtscheeewwww |
timmy: iv got a huge passion for photography.. any one with an idea of where I can get classes in lagos?I will recommend Studio J2, Located @ Bolaji Omupo Bus stop, Palmgroove. I hope you'll find this helpful. |
nne3870: @op i remember an uncle of mine, he prefers joseph to his native name 'uwadiegwu' (strange world), those days if u want to get him angry just call hm by his native name. Bt me am so loving my name nne....Now, i know your name...Nneka...i have been searching!! |
GARRI (x7):what if I'm from Lagos State and i do reside in my local government area or LCDA, where does Fash want to me to go since the Lagos state bye-laws are very hard on me now?? You seem to forget that even Lagos indigenes are not immune from breaking the laws of the land. |
Methinks it's high time the government launches a massive and intensive campaign to sensitize the masses about this societal ills of videoing or taking photographs while serious irreparable damages are being perpetrated by hoodlums. This should be done through various media nationwide. Instead of helping the situation everybody would be cheering at the lynchers. These are indeed perilous times!

So you allow your hussie to eat in an eatery so early in the morning? Why didn't you prepare breakfast or even ask AKPAN to do it for you? Hmmmmnn |
2mch(m): 3:55pm On Oct 31 Rotflmao. Nigerians are crazy! The way they strip people Unclad and always have them hugging the evidence is the funniest part of this. It means they don't need no lawyer or judge. They have all the evidence to justify their actions. grin. If you are strong and fearless enough to steal and risk your life out of hunger, you are strong enough to go to the politicians and demand money to eat. After-all they are the ones making you such a menace. We all indeed have a very funny mentality. The irony of it all is that you can not get up to 200 yards closer to the average Nigerian politicians who surround themselves with thugs and Policemen armed to the teeth. How can you now ask them for money? Had it been that this goat-thief was wise enough and rich enough to afford Police security to go and steal the goats, you won't find it easy to lynch him wallahi! chucky234(m): 11:37am savanto: I personally will not attribute the removing of footwear at the door post as an African tradition, however, it is due to the fact that we have soil all around us and during the rainy seasons your shoes carry a lot of mud around. In some developed countries, you do not easily find sand anyhow as most streets/highways/walkways are tarred. You can cover many miles on foot without your shoes picking any sand be it rainy season or dry season. I make it a point of duty to remove my shoes before entering into another man's house. I also do it in mine, but I do not expect visitors to do same because it is sheer waste of time especially to unlace some shoes which could be stressful. I usually encourage them to enter with their shoes...after all, i sweep daily. It all depends on two factors - your choice as a visitor and that of your host. Either way, there has to be a kind of swift agreement at this juncture. The communication can go this way:- Guest knocks on the door: Host answers and opens the doors: Host: Please come in Mr. John! Guest: Makes an effort to remove his shoes: Host: No! no! no!, i insist that you come in with your shoes: Guest: Don't worry Mr. Alabi.. I'm used to removing my shoes: Host: Screams. I say come in as you are! Guest: If you insist. Host: Yes, i insist! That means that the Host has won. There is an agreement there. None of them will be angry afterwards. But if you barge in with your shoes, you could face the risk of being highly embarrassed because some host don't know how to address people in a polite and polished manner. That is just my 2cents. Guy from your post e be like you don trek wella before ooo, your analyze na from first hand experience. @chucky234(m) I have seen the two sides of the coin. Most of us here had days of little beginnings which we must not despise. ![]() |

I have a shop at the ground Floor of Euro Asia Plaza, but Euro Asia Plaza has two complexes not far from each other. I have to make a call to know which one is on fire as I didn't go to the Island today due to the Salah. People should not assume that it is only Igbos that have shops there. You have the Hausas, Yorubas and Igbos doing business there and I'm non of the above. As it is now, a lot of folks would be joining the already over-populated labour market after this calamity. |
I don't have any sticker on my car. If any law enforcement officer asks for it, i will gently pull-over and produce all that is necessary from my glove compartment. Why should i paste stickers? They are better off where they are. As for those that put sticker like " 2013 is my year of break through" "I shall live and not die" you are all wasting your time because your life does not lie in your sticker. IKEDINOBI |
This is Super Story. The Poster is newly registered. I don't believe it one bit...sorry OP Next person pls...i haven't got all day here. |
Please OP, leave Hon. Dino alone and get a life. Where you hypnotized or under some kinda spell when he was sweet-talking you for two hours? Are you a child that does not know what she wants in life. You made your choice and you got what you deserved. Keep sleeping with married men. Even if he claimed to be separated from his wife, it should not have been an automatic ticket for you to take a LONG JUMP into his life and already or seemingly shaky relationship. There is such thing as "sanctity of marriage". I wish he had given you HIV2. By the way, I don't know the Hon Dino or whatever his name is called. I have no respect for Nigerian politicians both local and national levels of government but i deduced from your write-up that you just want to give this man a bad name in order to hang him and that is most dishonorable of you. Please get a life and stop opening your leg because of a mere N250k that can barely pay one's house rent nowadays. Besides, changing your wardrobe with the above amount can only afford you a couple of designer clothes...maybe 4 or 5 at the most, and that i my own opinion , makes you a very, very cheap wh0re. |
@OP A state of being heart broken is part of human frailty. It can happen to anyone. At the end of this experience, you will only come out a better and stronger person. I have read with keen interest all the comments here and most are exceedingly hilarious. I just want you to know that your wounds will heal with time. Time; they say, heals every wound! |
Many of you on NL may not have been born as at that time but nevertheless, i will list just a few. 1. C.o.c.k Crow At Dawn 2. Samanja 3. The Village Headmaster 4. Back To The Land 5. Pot of Life 6. Re: Stranded Air Nigeria UK Passengers Asked To Buy Aviation Fuel by MrNigeria.: 4:35pm nawa o, this post is embarrassed! MrNigeria, make una softly softly dey murder this thing called English na? why not rather write in almighty Pidgin for Pete's sake! |
Mandelaguy(m): 6:01pm On Sep 05 I wonder why people are making issues out of the fact that Dame travelled or not....is she a political office holder? For pete's sakes, she is just the wife of the President....haba! @Mandelaguy, you are dead wrong here and i beg to differ on your assertion. Dame Patience occupies the Office of the First lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This office may have been carved out to suit their personal or political interest but that is a topic for another day. I hope you wont get me wrong. I'm not saying that the office is OK but that's just the way the cookie crumbles. |
It is not just about the deployment of Soldiers to our streets but the sincerity of the ruling party to imbibe the spirit of free and fair election in Nigeria. Have you bothered to ask yourself who is the C-in-C of the Armed Forces of the federal Republic of Nigeria? Who controls the Army and gives the last order? - PDP. Please note that PDP can not fight against itself. It is just a smoked screen. They will use the same Army to rig the election. The army will do nothing since those that snatch the ballot boxes are PDP THUGS. The Army would just be watching them and smiling sheepishly. I refused to be fooled again. I am not an Edo man, you just don't bother to wag your tongue at me, I don't even live there. It is just that it same thing was witnessed in the last Delta State Guber elections and it was rigged in favour of PDP inspite of the noise maker who disturbed our peace with helicopter hovering on our airspace while the election was being rigged at the polls. |
Sorry the third one is: Once is not enough. I'm typing frm my phone hence the error. |
1. Miss Shumway waves a wand- James Hadly Chase 2. The Adventurer - Harold Robins 3. One is not enough- Sidney Sheldon. Believe me, I've read many novels in my life and thses are most hilarious. Anybody around you go think say you don kolo when dey see you dey scatter your Dada!! |
Hmmmmnn! Everybody wants to stay alive! This takes me back the memory lane on James Hardly Chase bestseller titled ' Want to stay alive?'. Quite rhetorical isn't it? Whoever should cast the first stone at BH should first go and ask. 'Mandy Lucas' Herein do I rest my case. Next thread please!! |

Well, well, well, like our C-in-C told us last year regarding the incessant bombings in naija, dat we must learn to live with it! Love him or her more. Do whatever you can to help her situation. |

Oshiomole brought himself this low He'd better go and fix the darn roads!!! @Poster, first, it noteworthy that the road on which the accident occured is NOT in EDO STATE. But in Delta State. It is not the duty of Osho Baba to fix Delta roads. As a Deltan, I know the terrain very well. The road in question is not ridden with potholes as some assume here. It' just that it is not dual carriage road and kinda narrow. Uduaghan plys that road every day just like his deputy and other governement officials in Delta States. Methinks the accident was an 'arrangee' PDP wants power to remain in their hands no matter what it takes, no matter who get killed. I have seen and heard several condolence messages from PDP over the years than an Ijaw fisherman has seen Shrimps! Oshiomole though dines and wines with the ruling party as a minority because it is unavoidable. You have to in order to remain politically relevant in your state/country. That is the game of politics. Above this, Oshiomole is and will continue to be a blessing to the people of Edo State as long as he has the mandate of the people. To honourable comrade, please be more careful in the future. Accidents don't just happen...they are CAUSED! That's my 2cents.Oshiomole brought himself this low He'd better go and fix the darn roads!!! @Poster, first, it noteworthy that the road on which the accident occured is NOT in EDO STATE. If you have not travel led to any of the Asian countries, I will advise that you be mindful of your post. Do not post for the sake of hearing your own voice. I have visited most Asian and Arab countries for legit business and it is noteworthy to inform you all that even as a legal immigrant in China, you are faced with a lot of challenges. The Nigerians living in China always try to help one another is if you identify with them. If you have any problem, they come together as a community to proffer solutions without getting themselves into trouble. Note that the ones they front are the ones that have papers and have not over-stayed or be involved in crimes of any kind. It is not easy living in China. May are in jail for a crime they did not commit. You are denied access to legal counsel. And as a communist society, the lawyer given to you by chinese authorities must not argue your case before the jury. Many Nigerians are languishing in China prisons for misdemeanor offenses. Some of you are saying that d guy should not have suretied someone. That is understandable but if you don't do that, the day you will fall into problem in China, nobody will even come to the station to negotiate your bail. You will be on your own because you do not come out for people when they are in trouble. I tell ya that you cannot survive in communist China on your own wisdom. You need every body around you. However, there is need to apply wisdom when assisting any one. this is because there is nothing like the rule of law in China. If you over-stay your visit visa with just 2 hours and you are caught, you can be in the same situation of the OP. They mete same treatment to their countrymen how much more an allien ? China is indeed a terrible place to be! |
Why are most of you talking about Oyedepo? If you think that he is not doing the right thing, then you go ahead and do that which you feel is right investment. You can ve nture into agriculture even with very little capital. At least you can employ only one or two poor folks when you start. Everybody is now sympathetic about the poor when you always have them around you. How have you impacted the common gate man manning your gate at home/office? You drag change with a bus conductor on a daily basis and here you are talking as if you care for the poor more than the Bishop. Be mindful that I don't worship in his church. However, I have read several of his books since 1994 when he wasn't even half as rich as he is now. Pls let us concentrate on more serious issues affecting our nation with a view of proffering lasting solutions to them rather than bringing MOG into the forum as if this is a slaughter house!
