sweerychick: Good evening viewers! i have this issue has been bothering me, and i dont know if i can cope with it anymore particularly now we are making plans to settle down after my NYSC.
My man is too attached to his mum almost like an addiction. at first i was cool with it because his dad is late and i like guys that are close to their mums, but my man own is creepy and freaking me out. he calls his mum almost every hour, morning, afternoon, evening and even midnight calls.
One day his mum complained of headache, he almost left his office just to buy his mum drugs despite his mum telling him it's not serious, when i tried confronting him about this he told me that his mum is his soul and if his mum dies he would die along with her too, with all seriousness he told me this.
I've been very uncomfortable since that statement from him and it's making me have a rethink whether i can cope with him as a spouse.. please advice me.. Fisrt, You would be a mum on day and if you find yourself in this situation as a mum, you wld appreciate it.. However, rather than quit or think about quitting, start loving the mum equally as well, in no time you wld have a fun hand with kids messing up your living room.. lol over to Martin0 for his advice.... |

This is a lady I plan to marry, we've been dating for years now ooh, I needed some cash to assist my younger brother with his school fees and also some pocket money for my mum, so I asked my girlfriend to borrow me some money about 100k only ooh. It's not like I'm not working, I have my work but I'm broke and I asked her to assist me, only for her to tell me she cannot borrow me money. She's too stingy, how can I marry a lady that is so stingy, so if I marry her and need money, that is how she'll tell me she cannot borrow me. I'm calling the relationship quit, please advice me on what to do. Thanks. copied: www.palmchatnow.com |
Family › Should she forgive him after doing 'this' to her? by saydfact(op): 3:47pm On Jun 13, 2017*. Modified: 3:15pm On Jun 14, 2017 |
Debra and Stephen have been dating for a while and got married afterward, Debra's dad noticed Stephen as a smart guy and therefore invited Stephen to work in his company, and Debral who initially worked in same company retired home to take care of the kids. After 2 years, Debra's dad died and his will read that; Stephen should be given 60% of the company shares by virtue of his marriage to his daughter and the junior brother to Debral owns the remaining 40%. 2 years after the man died, Stephen came back home from work one day, called Debra and said, 'sorry I never loved you from the onset, I'm quitting the marriage and you know I own 60% of the company so its mine' - He went on to suggest his willingness to buy the 40% belonging to her brother if he was no longer interested and also that she could relocate with the kids at his expense if she wishes. Debral had lost all her dad worked for, but she informed the family lawyer. The after 2 weeks visited Stephen, showed him a handwritten letter by the late dad which read in parts; If for any reason the marriage breaks up and the reason for breakup is not from Debral, then Stephen loses all his shares in the company but if it was Debral's fault, then Stephen owes the company. Stephen on reading this note, came back home to Debral begging for her forgiveness and promising to love her ever after. IF YOU ARE DEBRAL - WOULD YOU TAKE STEPHEN BACK? culled: www.palmchatnow.com |

Crime › Re: I Just Got Kidnapped & Robbed In A Danfo Bus by saydfact(m): 2:23pm On Jun 06, 2017 |
Xperience12: God is good. I was kidnapped today but free.
I missed my staffbus to the Island Lagos so decided to use a Danfo bus as early as 6:30. I entered one going to the Island not knowing they're kidnappers/thieves inside. On getting to Gbagada they pounced on me in the bus and attacked me, beating me. I thought they wanted to kidnap me and I kept shouting Jesus! JESUS! One held my neck and kept choking me. Another held my legs and they laid me flat. They took my phone and told me to unlock it. They took my wallet and asked if it was the only money I had. They took the 4000 inside and left N400 for me. They also took my iPad and return my phones. Then they told me to get up and silently they'd drop me. When we reached Forte oil Gbagada they told me to come out and they drove off........
I'm happy I'm alive and it wasn't a different story. I feel bad for my iPad because it has all the pictures I've been taking since 2 years including my Defense pictures, Convocation pictures, my pictures in Nysc camp, my pictures at the office and lots other but what can I Say. It's a small sacrifice. Once there is life and you have God, you have everything
Please everyone be careful when you enter buses. Always observe before entering anyone at all

[s]This is very common bros. It is also very easy to actually doctor these things.
In my growing up days,i use to see those guys selling on the road(Hold ups)doctor bread and margarine a lot around the ikeja axis of lagos.[/s]
They use ink and that stuff with a sharp point you find inside a Maths Set to do it.
[s]You can see from the dates that the same instrument was used. I know they doctor the ones on the road, since those that buy it are usually driving and might not return.
I see they have taken it into the stores now.[/s] That stuff is called a DIVIDER and a COMPASS |

Properties › Re: Please Help Appraise/vet This Building Cost by saydfact(m): 8:07am On Jun 05, 2017 |
4C2215131: Greetings good folks!
I would be infinitely grateful if experienced architects and allied professionals can help me vet this building cost breakdown. The mentioned costs is a 2 & 3 bedroom detached bungalow. It was prepared by an architect and in addition to not being around, I do not have the qualification nor experience to ascertain how competitive in terms of cost this is.
Please I really need your help. Is the cost breakdown a close enough reflection of the true situation of things ( it was prepared just a day ago) or is it way off board?
Can I go ahead with the project?
Like I said, it's just the cost of erecting a carcass (that's the name they say you experts call it) while I handle some other projects that are very pertinent. I may be wrong in my terminology but, what I typed there is the exact document I was given, so never minding the nomenclature of the job, are the listed tasks going to gulp the assigned sum or it may be done for cheaper (not shoddier).
Again, I am open to quotes from other professionals as I have more jobs in this respect to accomplish within two quarters of this year.
Find the breakdown below thus:
1. Substructure-N1,057,022.69 2. Masonry-N899,949.83 3. Structural/Carcassing Metal/Timber-N629,476.43 4. Roofing & Ceiling-N738,110.89 5. Windows & Doors-789,862.50 Total= N4,275,772.22
For the 3 Bedroom Detached Bungalow 1. As above-N2,108,293.46 2. As above-N1,371,976.50 3. As above-N777,382.16 4. As above-N1,355,975.89 5. As above-1,167,900.00 Total= N6,781,528.01
Thanks and warmest regards. Let's take roofing for eg... What materials are they using? - the price above cld be excessive or short.. it all depends on the choice of roofing sheet, carcass wood, ceiling etc. I'll advice that u don't give anyone a job without details in details of what type of Material he/she shd use. Also... A 3 bedroom cld cost 3m to complete and another cld take 13m to complete... It all depends on design and choice... You need to share the design and specifications to get precise advice... Goodluck... And check my previous thread on properties.. |
