Kojo Aseda:yea, |
Kojo Aseda:I mailed several professors when I was trying to learn more about my school, few ones that answered referred me to the admission page on their website or referred me to the lady in charge of admissions and the lady in return referred me to the international admission office I have been corresponding with. "If you're a strong candidate for that department, why would you have done poorly in your undergraduate classes in that field? You're better off trying to get into a different grad program that you have no experience in. Like I said before, write a strong personal statement!" very very wrong, "you're better off trying to get into a different grad program that you have no experience in." very funny, my GPA for undergrad wasnt so great, but I am doing so fantastic in my grad studies, so i wonder where you got that notion of yours, oh!, and i continued on same undergrad degree and because students from Nigeria dont actually know how to convert their GPA on a 5.0 scale to 4.0 scale, kindda difficult to tell what you GPA actually is, unless maybe they want WES to do it prior to seeking admission in a school. So I still suggest reading hard for the GRE! |
@smlafolabi HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!! ![]() |
a bad-bad situation ![]() |
hahahahahah, c'mon sw, how would you feel if you bobo gave you that kind of an excuse? |
Kojo Aseda:And how would you know GRE is not so important to a particular school ? If one's GPA is not so great, then you had better study hard for the GRE ! |
stillwater:lol, and what could she be occupied with ? |
thats a serious case o ! but i have forgotten my ex's b'day, didn't mean i didn't care or love her though, but girls are usually excellent at remembering special dates, so there is something wrong when she forgets stuff about you! |
smooooooth:Is that so ? ![]() |

askme:The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT, pronounced G-mat) is a computer adaptive standardized test for measuring aptitude to succeed academically in graduate business studies. Business schools commonly use the test as one of many selection criteria for admission into an MBA program. It is given at various locations in the United States, Canada and around the world. Throughout North America and in many international locations, the GMAT is administered only via computer. In those international locations where an extensive network of computers has not yet been established, the GMAT is offered either at temporary computer-based testing centers on a limited schedule or as a paper-based test (given once or twice a year) at local testing centers. As of 2007, the fee to take the test is U.S. $250 worldwide. for more info, please visit : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graduate_Management_Admission_Test |
tboy81:There is no major difference. New classes or introductory classes are introduced during the Fall quarter. dont get me wrong, not all. Some introductory classes that are highly registered for are normally taught in all quarters. But some graduate prerequisite classes are mostly taught during the Fall. for example, if you want to take Networking class, CEG 602- Introductory Networking, would be taught during the Fall and CEG 702-Advanced Networking, will be taught in subsequent quarters. If there are however, high volume of students registering for CEG 602 Networking class, then they would teach the class in all quarters. Cos so many people apply for admission during the Fall quarter, it is assumed that Fall quarter is the beginning of a new session and the Spring is the end of a session. So, many introductory classes are been taught during Fall as compared to Spring. Asides that, no difference. You can apply for Spring admission and take classes that do not require any prerequisites. |
get this book: Starting Out with C++: From Control Structures through Objects (6th Edition) by Tony Gaddis , very useful |

one man's rice is another man's beans, if a man possess these qualities, does it mean he is a 'good' man ? or thats what you want him to be ? |

Yea, my ex's mum wasn't particularly happy about her dating an ijebu boy(me), are non-ijebu indigenes any better than ijebu indigenes? and when a friend told her mum about me, the mum was all out against us getting involved cos her husband had took an ijebu woman as a 2nd wife, |
yeah i would, its gonna contain how you met, how you proposed, the challenges you've been through and how you overcame them, so anytime in the future things are not going smooth, either of you can visit the website , know where things went wrong and adjust, |
1) Guys please grow up and show some more maturity, we don't need all this! 2) Good point, @Poster, u may be granted d visa on compassionate grounds on the basis of the fact that you miss your husband dearly, do not appear desperate, the only odds u have to battle is the fact that u have been refused 3 times before. If you are lucky enough, it should be smooth sailing! A friend of mine, just came to the UK finally after being refused 4times, this time, he appealed and pleaded his case, so anytin is possible Study Visas are a lot more stringent compared to visit visas, as long as u satisfy the criteria and understand it is a different process, u would be fine! Goodluck
go for a degree that is related to your undergrad degree, |
they are actually very related but everyone knows that the MBA is a very highly respected degree
you dont need work experience, they might even let you take few classes for MBA since you might have taken similar courses during your MS, so instead of taking 12 classes for example, you only need to take 9. |
scholarship for undergrad or grad ? |
i was wondering if you need work experience to study for an MBA in most business schools in the USA. my parents are pressuring me to study for a Phd but i'm interested in studing for an MBA instead. i have a first degree in estate management and im almost through with my masters in international business. unfortunately i don't hve any cognate work experience. would i still need work experience to study for an MBA in the US?
why would you need MBA when you have MS International Business? aren't both degrees related ? |
