ekt_bear: sbeezy8, jason, chill. GEJ has no incentive to play a vindictive game. It will only turn those who were largely indifferent to/supportive of his aspirations into enemies.
Relax, things will be shared out by the PDP equally. he cant even if he wanted to 1 northerner are the MAJORITY IN THE PDP SENATE AND NASS who will he turn to when hes looking to pass a bill? NW + NE have more seats than SS and SE put together. |

Onlytruth: Jason,
So, in your "righteous" formula, the senate president should go to SW and the House speaker to NC, abi?
I've told you to go borrow a brain. You cannot eat your cake and have it. Your people tried to sabotage the presidents election. It is time to pay for it.
Zoning is dead. sabotage ? lol GEJ would have lost had the 12 million+ registerd voters who didnt vote in the SW voted for buhari |

phreakabit: I love the way the Yoruba's switch tongues, its almost as though its an ethnic gift! @ first they despised, hated and even detested GEJ, They vowed not to vote him in calling him a puppet and all sorts of names, but as soon as they noticed things did not go as planned during the polls, all these threads and post asking "these" questions about the SW started emerging from thin air. The way I see it based on where I voted, Most, if not all the people who voted GEJ, where non-SW'ners and YES! I reside in Lagos. i dont know anyone that despised hated GEJ, it was pdp/obj. as for where you voted i dont see whats more interesting the 1.2 milli who voted for GEJ or the voting power of the 4.7 million in lagos who didnt vote for GEJ and the 11-12 million in the SW who did not vote for GEJ. |

TNUBU4LIFE: out of the 1.3million,about 40% was the yoruba if you go by the votes of other sw states. it only proved how insignificant non yorubas are in lagos are. 1.3 million ke? - many of who are yoruba die hard pdp fans, i mean it only makes it solid what lagos yorubas have been saying all along i like dis election |

vicenzo: These yoruba peeps never fail to amaze me,when ohanaeze endorsed GEJ,they all said we are foolish, they called Gej odechukwu, they were busy romancing with buhari and ribadu.
Anyway, everybody wants to identify with sucess,GEJ said that he is one of us(ndiigbo),lets but that to test and see how wise the elders(ohaneze) were,a wise man says: do not put your eggs in one basket, but a wiser man says:put you eggs in one basket and watch the basket. I DONT THINK YORUBAS ASIDE FROM PDP SUPPORTERS except seun ARE REJOICING - most dont care out of 15 million registered peeps only 3 million voted and on 2 milli voted for GEJ IN WHOLE OF SW |

ekt_bear: @Ileke-IdI: Partitioning Kwara is not a good idea, in my opinion. yes it is a state made out of Kwara and Kogi. but that will be like 8 yoruba speaking states so i doubt they will do that |
Politics › Re: The SE Must Get Either The Senate President Or Speaker Of House Of Rep by sbeezy8: 10:28pm On Apr 17, 2011 |
Ileke-IdI: Of course GEJ wouldnt dare try it People voted for him because they expect change. Out of almost 7 million voters, 5 million did not vote in the SW. Those people/ MBelt mionorities that are entrusting their vote in him because he's also a minority can change their mind.
If the SE gets another state, then the same will have to be done with Kwara Jos. One for North one for SW.
What are the requirements for new states in Nigeria? Thats in Lagos- Im still wondering why igbo are not tooting that 40% BS vote GEJ could not even get 1.5 million votes in Lagos but out of 15 million voters in the SW only 15- 17% voted edo as well and the middle belt in Kogi Igala east voted CPC and the majority of votes were invalid. |

^^^ true @ All Jonathan could have asked Tinubu was for ACN to stay neutral
70-80% of registerd voters didnt vote from the numbers
in Lagos alone about 4.7 million out of 6 million didnt vote for gej.

Kobojunkie: Deadline for VP selection was in February, I beleive. The above news is rubbish as there seems no other support for the claims made. Check the date and the evidence from the weeks before to understand what I mean. I doubt it because the decision made in the SE to support Jonathan had been made long before this - -- Remember many of these groups played a part in urging Jonathan to run for the presidency and in his fight against the PDP Zoning fiasco. Well, yeah but much of that existed long before february of this year. still doesntr exclude the fact igbos were split on the decision to endorse GEJ, IT WAS MAINLY AFTER HE GOT PDP TICKET IT BECME SOLID. OR IS IBB not ikechukwu! |

WHY DO YOU PEOPLE KEEP OPENING THREADS ABOUT THE SW?
STICK TO YOUR OWN BUSINESS
if the yorubas were really bad they would have voted for either candidate or tinubu could have ran for president losing but blocking GEJ and BB from more votes.- would have been a run off. |
