And I must say they only had that Physical edge because of their Testosterone level…

Even Stella was tested on few occasions because of her speed and performance then because opponents were always finding it difficult for match her pace.

The last game I saw Mbachu used her pace for Nigeria was in 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup match against Canada 🇨🇦 and Germany 🇩🇪.

One reason have been praying for a Mbachu kind of winger in the SuperFalcons….

Semenya will certainly fill in the vacuum Desire Oparanozie left behind as she’s well built too.. But again she just need to add more to her game in all aspects.. And i believe Benfica is the right place for her develop..

Ajibade was a slow and steady player then until she started hitting her prime while peace was more on the Spotlight then but didn’t live up to the billing…

Good news for fans of the Malawi women's national football team, the Scorchers!

After missing the first two games of WAFCON 2026, Asimenye Simwaka has arrived at the Scorchers camp in Morocco and has joined her teammates.

During the time the Scorchers were playing against Egypt and Nigeria, Asimenye was representing Malawi in Athletics, where she also competes as a sprinter. She is one of the top athletes in the country, holding the Malawi national record in the 100m, 200m and 400m. After finishing her athletics duties, she has now arrived to help the Scorchers at WAFCON.

In football, Asimenye is one of the most dangerous players for the Scorchers and for MDF Lioness FC. She is known for her speed, her skill, and her goal-scoring ability.

Asimenye scored the first goal when Malawi beat Zambia 2-1 in the final of the COSAFA Women's Championship 2023, which helped the Scorchers win the trophy for the first time in history.

In 2025, she scored two goals when the Scorchers beat Lesotho 3-0 in a friendly match.

In the second game against Lesotho, she scored a hat-trick, helping Malawi win 3-0 again.

In the 2022/23 season, she scored 31 goals in all competitions for MDF Lioness, which made her one of the most dangerous players in Women's Football in Malawi.

Her arrival has given many fans hope that the Scorchers will be even stronger in the next games.

This result would safely navigate both sides into the knockout stage of the tournament, regardless of what happens in the other game.

Those who follow the Malawian and Zambians side surely agree that judging by the front lines only, such a result sounds pretty likely, as we all anticipate a high-scoring game.

Ijamilusi is one player who have played for Nigeria from U17, U20 down to the SuperFalcons…

At some point she was an Attacking Midfielder/Winger at the youth level until a major knee injury halted her career progress for over a year or so..

She then got back on her feet and started shining again in the NWPL for FC Robo, then move to Edo Queens before the China move..

At some point she was better than what am seeing right now, let’s just say she hasn’t been able to hit her prime yet..

I will say the same for Peace Efih.. another solid Attacking midfielder/Wide Midfielder.

Zambia fit just wake up pour sand for our garri by trashing Malawi and leaving us all in limbo on the last day.

Again she was having a great game against Malawi 🇲🇼 but the moment she step out of position into the midfield we conceded and Ayinde & Alozie couldn’t cover up for her..

She must stay with Banda and allow the double pivots of Ucheibe & Abiodun do their job..

What Madugu was paid for taking 1st sadly much less than what Randy got for taking 4th.

NFF will never pay local coaches (Finidi, Madugu) well or give them friendlies to utilise all FIFA windows. So if it takes a foreign coach to make NFF situp, then so be it.

I believe there are quality Foreign Coaches out there that will be willing to accept $20K monthly salary…

And those coaches will certainly demand for Quality preparation, friendly games and make good selection..

Na NFF be Nigeria problem, make we no Dey blame Madugu too much

If Ivory coast could employ former coach of Lyon women team ,what stopped Nigeria from getting a good coach ? One of the major advantages of a good coach is that talented players will be selected not sentiment 😁. We see what is happing to Nigeria now ..you cannot continue to rely on luck and individual player. Ohale should not be starting games she has paid her dues . She can always come in . She is aged and now very slow

One thing with this Coaches, they will go all out and scout for quality youngsters who will move the team forward… Not going back to Old Mama’s them.
