CAF informed all Member Associations that all the club’s that will play in the 2023/24 CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup will have to have a women’s football team or else can’t get the license to take part in these competitions .

The deadline is June 30.

If Randy is going to the World Cup with 7 Forwards, it going to be a tough one for him to pick between Fransisca Ordega and Monday Gift. I remember during one of Colin Udoh Twitter Space he spoke about Ordega chance's of making the team to the World Cup is 50% unlike the other regular known Players.

The first 6 are certainly going to the World Cup except there's a case of an injury. The Last Spot is between Fransisca Ordega and Monday Gift.. Experience wise I will go for Ordega.

Anam IMo is currently one of the top scorers in Sweden and she's is in top form with Pitea IF on top of the Swedish Log. If there's a Provisional Squad before the final list, then Anam IMo should be on the list.

MacLeans Chinonyerem position is currently stocked with seasoned professionals, Asisat, Oparanozie and Onumonu. I don't see Randy picking MacLeans as another option at no.9 especially when the likes of Kanu and Esther can play that same position comfortably too

Chiwendu Ihezuo hasn't impressed at all, Esther, Ajibade, Kanu, Ordega and Monday are far more better on the flank than her.. He Chance of going to the World Cup is very Slim maybe 10%

Unless the NFF appealed the Refs decision, both reds were a resultant of 'violent conduct', judging by the nature of fouls. Therefore the suspension is 3 consecutive games.
Both ladies sat out the Zambia game, meaning they have 2 more games to serve.

Since there are no FIFA sanctioned competitions or games lined up before the world cup, looks like both women will have to sit out our first 2 games.

Randy is one Coach I know too well won't fail in that Red Card aspect, he knows the rules that comes to play so those two will definitely sit out for the remaining two games.. In attack the void won't be felt as better options will be available to pick from as the return of Esther Okoronkwo is a major boost for Randy and the team.

Chinaza Uchendu on target as Gyeongju maintain unbeaten run


Nigeria international Chinaza Uchendu was part of the goal scorers as her South Korean WK League Women side, Gyeongju secured a 0-2 away win against Changnyeong on Thursday.
The former Linkopings midfielder last scored for her side on June 13, 2022, and ended her five-match run of not finding the back of the net.
In the additional minutes of the first half, the 2019 Women’s World Cup participant for Nigeria gave her side the lead.
Another goal from Japanese midfielder, Tanaka Asuna in the additional minutes of the second half handed Gyeongju a 2-0 win.

Nigerian defender dumps Galatasaray for Turkish rivals

Nigeria defender, Ijeoma Daniels has joined a new club in Turkey after deciding to remain in the European country.
Ijeoma Daniels Queens has officially joined Turkish Super Lig Women’s side, Trabzonspor.
She joined the team from another Turkish side, Galatasaray after spending a season with her former club.
The former Abia Angels player has signed a year deal with the team which keeps her til 2023 at Trabzonspor.
The defender started her career in Nigeria with Abia Angels and Invincible Angels of Gboko before moving abroad.
She later moved to Ivory Coast where she spent three years where she played for Juventus de Youpongon and Lahor Essor Abidjan before moving to Turkey.
Her new team, Trabzonspor lost its opening league game and lost 1-0 to Ijeoma Daniel’s former club , Galatasaray.
The defender is hopefully looking forward to becoming an additional puzzle to Trabzonspor’s defence line.

No Body said a player shouldn't dribble but the case is it should be fruitful, The final balls is what matters, On and off the ball movements, your defensive aspect of the game as a Forward or Winger, Esther Sunday didn't utilize her skills to full potential because i believe her Coaches at various levels must have been talking to her on that... As you have said, Vera Okolo is the best Superfalcons winger but Stella MBACHU should come in before Fransisca Ordega or you forget so soon that Stella was once one of Superfalcon best and dependable player..

Amandine Miquel has praised summer signing Tosin Demehin after an impressive Stade de Reims debut for the former Rivers Angels star.

After getting unveiled on Thursday following her arrival in France and first training on Wednesday, Demehin started and played the full 90 minutes of the Red and Whites’ 2-2 draw with Paris on Friday.

The Nigerian is still working her way to full fitness, having only arrived and trained with her new club in less than two days after helping Nigeria reach the U20 Women’s World Cup quaterfinal in August.

She made a number of blocks to contain the pouring attacks of the highflying Parisians and her new manager was left impressed by everything she saw from the young and solid defensive star.

“It was her first game for the club and she did her best,”
