Damilola Koku has expressed delight at the recent move she made to WFC GINTRA from Rivers Angels, she made the move with Super Falcons Vivian Ikechukwu her team mate. GINTRA plays in the highest league in Lithuania.

She opted out from the National Team alongside her elder sister Andrine who's currently playing for BK Hacken in Sweden because of equal pay and other personal reasons.. though she has been out with ACL injury for over a year.. she's back and fine now have been playing for over 3 months now..

IKECHUKWU LEAVES RIVERS ANGELS FOR LITHUANIAN'S GINTRA

Super Falcons star Vivian Ikechukwu has parted ways with Rivers Angels Football Club and completed a move to Lithuanian side, FC Gintra in a one-year deal.

Ikechukwu joined Rivers Angels from Abia Angels in 2018 and won her first title with the team same season during the Nigeria Women's Football League Champions Shield against Nasarawa Amazons. She also won the Aiteo Cup in Yenagoa same year.

The forward also won the 2019 NWFL title with the Jewel Of Rivers and during the 2021 Super 6 tournament in Ijebu-Ode, she scored 4 goals and made 5 assists to help her side to a 7th league title and representation at the maiden edition of the CAF Women's Champions League.

Ikechukwu in a chat with the Rivers Angels Media thanked the club for the inspiration and support during her stay at the club.

"I want to thank the entire team for their support and encouragement while I was here, they inspired me so much that I kept wanting to be better," she said.

"Special appreciation to the Nigeria Women's Football League for all they've done to improve the league, the turnaround has been tremendous.

"This new chapter in my career is one I've always wanted and I know I'd make everyone proud because it doesn't end here. Gintra is one of the biggest clubs in the world and it is a privilege to have joined them because they have a rich football history," Ikechukwu added.

Right now Barcelona Femenino should be feeling the absence of Asisat Oshoala who would have put the Madrid defense on so much tension with her pace and high pressing which would have forced them to making errors and playing out quick cause Hermaso doesn't have that in her... SAD, SAD, SAD..

Lieke Marten who would have been managing the left wing is out injured, Swedish Rolfo hasn't done that..

Mariona another excellent option from either of the wing still out injured..

The one and only player that ever does something like this is Santi Cazorla....
This is impressive

At first I thought she was left footed during her U17 days not until she started playing college soccer... If you watch her closely it would be difficult for you to detect which of her foot is the strongest because they carry equal power... Fransisca Ordega and Patricia George are the other Superfalcons player that come close In term's of using both feets effectively..

She's one of Superfalcons most complete striker if not the most.... Both feets are dominant, you will hardly detect which one is the strongest, She uses both feets effectively..

It is no longer news that Rivers Angels were humiliated at home(Port Harcourt) by Royal Queens football club of Warri in week 11.
