Oshoala was even a defensive midfielder when she made her debut so u saying she was ready when Oparanozie and Ordega were not is just wild. In football if are good u are good. From what I've seen Flourish Sabastine, Esther Onyenezide and Deborah Abiodun deserve to be in the team.

The above listed U20 Players are very good and they're currently the Key and Star player's of the Falconet, but right now if we're to go with Deborah Abiodun battling with the Combative Otu and Ucheibe for the DM role it going to be a tough task for her, there's no way she's going to unseat Otu and Ucheibe.. Lt wait and see what she brings at the U20 FIFA Women's World Cup later this year!

Look at Esther Onyenezide very small but mighty, she's still very raw, put her down with Ajibade, Okobi and Payne she will only learn from them for the now... Trust me she won't be able to win the Superfalcon team spot battle with any of them right now..


Flourish Sabastine the Ultimate among them all will have the likes of Uchenna Kanu, Esther Okoronkwo and Co to battle with upfront, she's very good but lack of experience will knock her out for the now, she needs that U20 World Cup and at least a year more to be at the same level with them...

Okay guys just look at how Ajibade tends to draw about 3-5 Canadian players to herself... This is one thing she does regularly and we need to take advantage of her strength..



This is something we should be using against the Canadian side, for example having a pacy Ordega and Oshoala have, Ajibade could easily find a way of releasing the ball to them while Ordega and co or any player available can punish them..



We need that quick transition once we gain possession..

21yrs Old Onyi Echegini is truly talented but still need to prove herself first.... Maybe more game time.

Back then when ever Ayinde and Okobi plays in midfield.. the transition of the ball from defense to attack was always fast... Ajibade slows the ball a little bit and is not fast with his release of the ball for some time now truth be told, But I think it's as a result of not finding the space upfront and who to pass to, just hope Coach Randy would work on this too.

This would make perfect sense if Ebi drifts to the Midfield and distributes to maintain possession. Two Paynes do their runs and back and both must also be skilled at 1_2 passes with the attackers and Ajibade. The end game is a lethal attacking setup and one that easily recovers the ball when possession is lost. If Only Ebi is accurate with passing though. IF ONLY!

Ebi Onome and Ashleigh Plumptre have got great long ball distribution from the back...

Is it that Tony Payne like it more when she's playing from the Wing??

I would only ask them to defend in a zone if the attacking team are also attacking the set-piece in a zone. Otherwise it should be strictly woman-to-woman marking on all set-pieces.

You're correct but in terms of height we're lacking it, they have got Sinclair upfront who's very good in the Air and they're taller

Onome Ebi, Ashleigh Plumptre are very dominant in the Air but seems they lost focus at some point especially Ashleigh as soon as Ebi was taken off...

The first leg had 20,601 fans in the stadium, let's see how many fans the second leg would produce..

By the way Coach Randy Waldrum should better sort out a way of dealing with those crosses from the wide areas especially from the Manchester City Winger Janine Beckie..

I was really impressed with Ajibade yesterday. She was a star in the midfield yesterday, especially at the first half. Of course she held on to the ball for too long at some point and sometimes lost the ball, I also think the attack played a role in this. Wasn't particularly impressed with our attack yesterday. I'm excusing yesterday's performance to fatigue, but they hardly made any successful runs, and our best chances came from outside shots by Ajibade and Toni Payne. Hopefully they rise to the occasion in the second game.

I'm impressed with the team whole Performance this Morning, according to Randy they only trained for 1hour due to the late arrival and Visa Issues unlike the Canadian side who had enough time to prepare and with their Complete Squad...

Kudos to the ladies, but there's room for improvement!


How about Ashleigh Plumptre performance??
