Why is it that some players looks good at Clubside and coming to the National Team they're not there, or should I say not good enough for the National Team but good enough (key Player) for her Clubside

Rasheedat was good but why would you expect people to go crazy about an attacking midfielder in a 2-0 loss? Plus she did have that crazy moment where she lost the ball in her box. She either got too confident or tired. Loved the long range strike and her handling of the ball although she sometimes hung on a little too long.

Toni payne is a star on this team. Nicole will only get better. It was a great joy watching both play together. Toni said they had never played together before since she is 6 years older, so that was the first time their parents watched them start a match together.

Akudo Ogbonna is doing well at her age and still very young and open for improvement, am very much certain that she's good enough to understudy Ebi and Ohale. Randy have tried some other Home based players in the Center Back position before and they didn't live up to the billing, Akudo is already growing into the Position thanks to the Absence of Osinachi Ohale, if she was to be present Akudo wouldn't get to play or maybe come from the bench..

One thing Akudo lack's is that big stage Confidence which the likes of Plumptre and Nicole Payne have... Let's give her some time and see how she improves...


Rasheedat Ajibade is good and doing well but the few things i notice about her game is that she tend to hold on to the ball longer than expected which lead to her losing it in awkward position... Need to improve on her when to pass and when to hold on to the ball, this is where Tony Payne is far ahead of 90% of them...


Nicole Payne looks like the fastest player on the pitch yesterday, I remember when Tony posted on her Instagram page asking her follower who's faster between the two of them and they were all picking Nicole...
There's no way she isn't going to be picked for the NWSL Draft after graduation except she chooses to move to Europe immediately after College without waiting for the Draft which comes up in January yearly, her pace and strength set her up ahead of her Mates, she just need to improve on her passes and pullouts, and also learn how to take setpieces..


Anyway Kudos to the whole team they did well, hopefully we would get to see a better performance next game..

Naija started to get into the rhythm after the 20th min. Playing very well and putting the Canadians under pressure.
I believe the SF have had more corners that the Canadians so far.
Players:
Ajibade has been superb in the midfield.
Ucheibe has really surprised me - she has been very good with her overall play and has looked very comfortable in her role as DM. I would pick her over Otu by just what I have seen so far.
Nicole Payne has been very good in her first start for the SF. Playing as left wing back, she has used her pace defensively and offensively. Very impressive.
Plumpter has kept things very simple.
Reassuring to have Nnadozie as goalie. Been rock solid so far.

Considering the poor prep, I must say I am proud of our performance so far against a powerhouse as Canada. We've kept it simple and have been very disciplined.
Let's see how the 2nd half goes.

It's still an open Competition between the two of them who's the Best Defensive Midfielder..

Can't pick Christy Ucheibe over Regina Otu yet.. Have watched both Closely from 2018 till date, they're currently the most Combative Defensive Midfielder we have now but i still give it to Otu who's more of a Clinical ball winner than Ucheibe...

You guys ain't even talking about Rasheedat Ajibade work in the Midfield. Did you guys see her at all, Ajibade gets better and better with each game for the Superfalcon..


Payne Sisters as our Wing Backs, I love that. Tony Payne is a Blessing to the team her versatility melt my heart...

21years Nicole Payne is full of Pace and Energy, but her end product isn't there yet still can't blame her cause she's still in College and will definitely grow and time goes on.. Hopefully when she graduates next year if she doesn't take up the Additional one year as a Senior College Player then Going Pro Straight should be the Best...

Flourish can be named in the provisional squad for AWCON and if she perform in training the coach can take her to the tournament

Let's allow Flourish to perform at the U20 FIFA Women's World Cup first before integrating her into the Superfalcon.. She will definitely break in within a short period of time, I will definitely pick her ahead of Monday Gift..

Onome Onome Onome Ebi.... She needs a replacement, this Younger Center Backs need to step up, the pace of the game is getting higher her experience and how she position is really working in her favour

She will definitely improve she's still a college player, Pace she's there but need to work on her final passes especially

Fatigue and time zone differences were a huge problem. Some of them came in less than 24 hours from Europe and Africa where they should be asleep by now.

Kudos to the Superfalcons, they only trained once and had to Play with that shot period of time when the key players aren't even around...

The Striking position looks so faint with only Onumonu and Kanu upfront, the likes of Payne, Ajibade can be moved upfront to the position they usually play for their Clubside.
