Even if those labs do have the PCR machines and testing kits, use some of the labs as collection centres where people can go and submit samples, when the samples are collected, send the samples to the nearest central PCR labs and send back the results electronically, so that positive cases can be Isolated immediately.

Why single out Nairaland?

Mention one Nigeria social media where Yoruba and Igbo do not go after one another. From Nigeriaworld, Biafrianigeriaworld to Nigeriavillagesquare and many others including foreign media.

Yoruba Moderators have killed their media by trying to be fair to Igbo at the expense of Yoruba, just to be accommodating as usual.

Indeed, after being warned of the unfairness in order to retain Igbo members, they lost their sites. These same sites were invaded by virus from the same Igbo members they were trying to accommodate.

Never once was any Igbo banned on Biafranigeriaworld where they spit all kinds of insults on Yoruba.

We can all get along if we respect one another. Nobody has exclusive right or monopoly on insults especially against your hosts on their land.

Go into the archives of your newspapers published in the 70s, 80s, 90s and see how yoruba papers like Concorde, Champions, Punch, Tribune demeaned Ndigbo severally.

Many revisionists lies where told by these newspapers and magazines against Ndigbo because they were still trying to build their lives back having lost the British-engineered civil war and they hardly had a voice in the media.

Demeaning phrases like 'illiterate traders' 'Emeka and sons '2 by 2' shops, 'Ibos love money and would kill their relatives', 'Ibos hate themselves', 'Ibo must not be president' didn't start on the internet which is barely 20 years old in Nigeria, It started in those newspapers. Some of us heard it as innocent kids playing 'police and thief' with our yoruba childhood friends. There were no internet those days.

Many of you were shocked to come on the internet and find a very vibrant and literate online Igbo population after deceiving yourselves for donkey years that 'Ibo no dey go school, na illiterate dem be, na only business dem sabi'. Even some Igbos born, bred and brainwashed in yorubaland were equally shocked too.

The only reason why most of you are angry is that Igbos now have an opportunity to respond in like terms when demeaned or insulted, the monopoly of media 'monologue' that yoruba enjoyed in the pre-internet era no longer hold today.

Like I always say, when we are ready for true unity, we'll all stop pretending and do the right thing, everyone in Nigeria knows what to do to repair the ill-feelings. Till then, let us continue to deceive ourselves.
