The plain fact is that you will be limiting yourself by insisting on particular features, because getting the specific models that have the 3 slots will mean losing out on more important features.
With your budget above, get yourself the 64GB version of the Redmi Note 5 AI or the Redmi Note 6 pro; take the former if you dislike notches like me(they are basically the same device pound for pound). You can as well get an hybrid dual sim adapter if the 3 slots is non-negotiable.

Connectivity depends on a host of criterias which I feel even dirt cheap phones will do basically well on this front provided a number of those criterias are meant. E.g how good is the signal in the vicinity? That is, most phones will perform satisfactorily if the signal is good.
Well, you will get virtually all the important bands necessary for all the network providers in Nigeria, only the Band 28 is not common, but can be gotten on these models: Redmi Note 3 SE(out of production) Mi Note 2, Mi Mix 2 and the Redmi Note 5 (Taiwanese Model).

bae has huawei mate 9 (stuck on EMUI~~miui~~5, cant update it), my oneplus 5 camera trumps it big time. since the stylus of the samsung note series has superb capabilities, and she likes it, thus the reason why i intend to get note 9 for her, instead of the oneplus 6

Yes! It is a real chinese phone; just like Huawei, Lenovo and xiaomi are chinese phones.
If you must know, Vivo, oppo and Oneplus are all owned by the same parent company; BBK elecronics. A little research will show you these brands are slugging it out with the top manufacturers of mobile phones.

Well, you should know the type of slot that can accommodate an sdcard. If both slots are exact same size, then it is the mtk version. If not, then it is one of the Snapdragon versions.

5d screen guard be making my screen look deeper than it truely is.

I personally use the full transparent glass on my Redmi note 4, but it's just too cumbersome to make aesthetically pleasing due to the way the edges end up not sticking at all to the screen.

They are actually a better fit than the normal full screen tempered glasses, not to talk of the full transparent one that leaves a considerable part of your screen uncovered due to the 2.5D curve at the edge of the screen of most new phones.

The steps are virtually the same. Any file that is device specific should be downloaded instead of the redmi note 4's own up there.

The recent "bonanza" by airtel is not 4g specific, you will get it on any airtel sim as far as you follow the instructions as stated.

Nah they promise a fix in few weeks to come. If it's an hardware thing, why do all Pocophones running custom roms have the notification icons? It's software related.

I personally don't like the distraction of too many icons on the status bar, so It won't be an issue if I have to eventually get a notched phone. It is a very good news either way sha.

What are the supported. LTE bands? Well done sis.

It's an hardware thing. There is no space available for the icons to appear due to the space taken by the notch undecided

If it's the notification light you are referring to, I think it's also hardware related, because most online reviewers pointed out same ish.

Because, I dialed both and saw 9.2gb including an additional 400mb bonus which was as a result of double accumulation.

That device is already old. You are better off getting yourself the Taiwanese model of Redmi Note 5.
It is a little bit expensive than the common models floating around though.

Powerbanks are never 100% efficient, some of the power stored will eventually be lost to conversion and heat.
