Marksmann007: Thanks for all your contribution and inputs sir, my question is please do officers or cadets use prescription glasses? The answer is no for cadets but yes for officers. If you are myopic try and manage that 6 months of training. Immediately after training you can start wearing your glasses. In US UK etc. As long as you achieve 20/20 with your glasses you are good to go but not the same with here. If you scale through without been caught in screening. During the training no eye check up is conducted again unless is needed. |

Some can live with 30k a month while some can't because they spend that 30k in a day Is just like university all hands are not equal. All i can say is that person fit manage very well. |

Charrliie: So there's something I'm really curious about. I've seen a few posts on here emphasising that you must have a godfather to get shortlisted. I'd really like to know if they don't shortlist based on merit anymore? Does this imply that people who are qualified 101% do not stand a chance if they don't have a godfather? Does this mean that no single person in the last 5-10 years has gotten successful with the army based purely on merit? Please I'm genuinely curious and I'd like an answer🙏 If it is God's will, he will find ways to help you out bro. But without godfather you can make it to the screening but for the final list forget am. Unless strong hand carry you from there. That why I said everything centers on God. He will find a way to sort things out for you. |

Walex29: I don't doubt this at all...At Falgore I saw officers who were so short like it was so obvious( no offence) and candidates were dropped for not meeting up with the recommended height...May God help us all
PS: Also pray God takes away every unfriendly friend from you while at screening lol...At falgore a girl was dropped for been overweight, the aunty begin dey protest say even one of her friend when get weight pass her, pass the medical..The board had to investigate and they confirmed that the friend was overweight as well..na so the other aunty when feel say she dor pass medical take jah o lmao.. Lol. The truth is that I hate people that make it there to come out and say is merit that they don't know anybody. I will be like who are they fooling for Christ sake. If God say you won't enter no Matter your godfather will won't enter. But God is not a magician he will provide you with someone that will help you get the job simple. Chukwuka319: Am unapologetic Igbo but I must be brutally honest.Anyone with insults can direct them to his or her ancestors, and generation unborn. Why are they harassing Gowon? He spoke the truth about the civil war. Gowon never wanted the war to break out and sought peaceful means of settlement, but Ojukwu was reckless, rash and too eager to pull Igbos out of Nigeria. Well Gowon is still alive, healthy and bubbling in good health, while Ojukwu the war lord has long ago passed to the other Side. And Gowon is older than Ojukwu. Irony of life. This words is really unnecessary bro. Why saying all this. |

Slytiger: Sometimes ,I just read their posts and laugh when they try to rewrite history like the one (spataoflagos) I just replied above. He citing civil war now is of no use. The war is gone and he to continuing reminding us of that is not good. Many people died during the war. The war shouldn't have happened if the both parties kept their promises reached in Abure. It unfortunate that many people during those time starting from the massacre to the civil war. We get to move on and left the story behind. Even unborn ibos can never be happy to hear of their losses and which makes them a laughing stock. As time goes by people that witnessed the war will be seen no more and if this story kept on ringing in their ears I'm afraid it might lead to another war. |

Mom007: Who is this ignoramus and what is he/she saying? If you are critiquing the policy because it will lead to hyperinflation of school fees or whatever else you stated up there, that is fine but saying government should pay student loan directly to student is just plain stupid! Are you not in Nigeria? Do you not read about students that play bet naija or buy phone with their school fees? E come be loan... even in developed nations, students loan is paid as a lump sum to the institution for the full 4years of however long the student will be in school. Its like the hunger in the land is confusing you and you are looking for who to pour your frustration on. May my God rebuke you for all those insults and curses you layed on yourself and generation! Let them scrap that useless students loan. Use that money to subsidize education simple. The school fees will go high and the loan won't reach every poor student. |

Mom007: This actually makes sense. Oho, they should pay directly to d students so they can use to buy nonsense or play betnaija or whatever else but education right? All of you criticising this are either ignorant or just as currupt as the system! You talking as if you are not Nigeria. You will still suffer from the same thing you are praising. How many poor student that are in will it cater for. This will surely make school fees to increase again. They children are coming up to enjoy the free student loan. Foolish person, you don't know what parents are going through. Is not your fault u will soon know. Even if you are not in Nigeria, any where you think you are u will still suffer for this mocking |
Education › Re: Student Loans Will Be Disbursed Directly To Institutions – FG by Scoutvibe: 9:33am On Feb 18, 2024 |
Asquare84: Good development, the money will be paid as tuition fees to the school directly, in this those who need the loan are those who will apply for it . Nay Sayers against this policy are those who think the money will be given to the students to flex with it. Kudos to the government.
And for those who think after graduation and they will not repay the loan, all transactions will be linked to your BVN and NIN, so think twice because there will be no excuse not to repay as far as you earn an income. U are fool for praising useless policy why not use the same to subsidize education. You are still single. Your children will enter higher institution soon |

The President cannot go against what RMAFC determines.
It is an impeachable offense.
Understand how your country is structured and know who determines what, then you will realise that some of your governors suppose to be dragged for something that you are dragging the President for. The reason I will not blame you is that you are not in Nigeria. The politicians still getting richer and poor more poorer. I get sister and a brother in UK currently and I know that they tax them in every thing buy still yet they lived comfortably. Here 30k minimum wage what will it do for a family man. You don't understand and you will never understand. School fees sky rocketed yet the same 50k will fund it. And you don't ask your self why all those in parliament are not that rich. Here common local government chairman will ride expensive cars. You won't understand but don't praise this government for any reason because if u earned 40k you will understand better. LegendHero: I also support autonomy but I think the government need to be careful.
On book autonomy is good but I am scared all these corrupt VC of universities will make a mess of it and the only people that will take the fall will still be the same Tinubu FG.
That’s how policy makers have been shouting subsidy is a scam since 2000, we removed it now and they are still blaming Tinubu for fuel price.
Remove autonomy tomorrow and universities hike fees, then see how much curse same Tinubu will receive. Nigeria most times defy normal logic. H You are a very big fool. I doubt that you are in Nigeria. All you are concern with is to increase the suffering of the masses. If they increase the school fees where will the parents see money to pay for it, is it with 30k minimum wage or wetin. You shall never see good thing in your life I promise you. You want Nigeria to be like USA or UK in the aspects of high cost but should not be the same in the except of minimum wage and students working hours ( here the school curriculum makes it difficult for students to work or less you want to see the effect in your result) |

Like I always say, Nigeria move backwards instead of forward.
Irrelevant things are what we tackle in Nigeria. Soldiers forming Rambo for unarmed civilians, but will scamper for safety at the mention of terrorists and kidnappers.
Bandit's are now landlords in some areas in Nigeria, and nothing has been done. Nigerian always loves bad news. |
