GoodBoi1:no atm would accept a pin similar to 2222. You my friend have an inquisitive mind |
menix:The 20k could've been from a different source + 4 years is a long time. And trust is a big issue. |
menix:lool, just because he didn't do any public show doesn't mean his wealth dwindled. Ask anyone in the entertainment space, private shows (the ones you never hear about ) usually rake in a whole looooot than the public ones. |
Manweysabi:And what makes you think he isn't earning already? |
chukwudi44:Zimbabwe's Mugabe has very little to offer the international community. Nigeria on the other hand has the capability to become a world power. The international community will not just stand by on this. God sparing our lives, we'd see the events that would unfold should PDP keep up the antics |
YouthsPC0:But have you considered the terrain the lagos blue light rail would pass? You should know that lag is quite mashy compared to kaduna or abuja and as such would cost a whole lot more. Next time try not to analyse anything by looking at the face value |
Bamz:I'm not an expert in this area. But I'd suggest that they go ahead and set their rates based on info from a reputable source like nairaland |
Bamz:In the millions range. I just don't know the exact figure |
kaptinphilz:I don't think so! I did 120 less than 3 months ago. I just sent a mail to my account officer and that was it. The caveat is that you can't determine your rate. It's determined by gt |
braivheart:Thanks |
It's exactly 16 days to the elections and no one is talking about anything serious. Jonathanians are screaming *buhari show your certificate*. Buharians are screaming "FEBUHARI" and are bringing up his past. Apparently we still haven't learnt from 20011. Jonathan had no proven leadership capability but yet we chose him as the leader that would turn around this country. Twice this man was gifted with the position of higher authority; first as a governor and then as a president. We said surely, God is surely with this man. If only we knew that the rain falls on both the ungodly and godly, the foolish and the wise alike. We all get lucky at times irrespective of our abilities and that was the case of Jonathan. And we voted him partly because of the infamous "I had no shoes story". He however hasn't led us anywhere. And now it's Buhari; no verifiable records of what he has been involved in for the past decade and he wants to be at the helm of affairs. I beg to be corrected but I believe Buhari wouldn't do anything spectacular for Nigeria (which is what nigerians need ) The penetration of other countries and multinational companies into our country is unrivalled and NO ONE is talking about it. Instead the obsession is about certificates. We've only heard vague promises If only both supporters can sheathe their swords for a minute and let's hear these 2 prospective candidates explain in detail how they're going to spur Nigeria from a country looked at with disdain to a country others look up to. Our wiping ebola case is a perfect example that we can have the world watching and learning. Let's all unite and fight together for what would move this country forward. |
And the bus conductor said "Oga if i follow that place, my money go finish; i go give those boys, con give police. E better for me to pass this place so i no go see them" Even though the bus conductor had slightly over 2000 naira in his hands and yet the fees these rascals collect would have wiped him almost dry. My question is this; why do they keep paying them? It's not like the rascals do anything positive They don't help with traffic. Neither do they help in keeping lagos clean but yet they're diligent in collecting their "wages". Anybody who doesn't budge would be hindered from working. As the election nears, I believe it's an issue that we need to discuss since their backers are definitely top placed. Asides from clearing them off the streets, we need to engage them with meaningful jobs such as refuse collection especially recyclable waste. What are your thoughts? I would like to hear from you. |
GreatSoul:You have no idea of the crazy covert missions the "almighty" US engages in on a daily basis. Those guys throw the rule book out the window to get what they want. My question is this; would you consider the US to be led by a daft leader ? |
kilokeys:While i agree with you somewhat, sleeping is a horrible thing to do. If we don't stand up and fight for what we believe, our children might not even have a country |
The only difference between you and Bill Gates is information and it's application. Where you are right now is primarily as a result of what you know. Do you want to know more? Do you want to move up the ladder? What kind of programs would you love to listen to ? Which programs do you think would inspire and entertain you ? Chances are, there's currently a radio program that deals with that; you just don't know it. For me, book reading programs are what I'm keen on as I'm a writer. Now it's your turn; what kind of programs would you like to listen to ? |
234GT:lol, insurance companies don't just pay like that, investigations must happen first. |
easystudy101:Lool, those earrings are massive!! No qualms ![]() |
Since oil prices are falling and nigeria has little to no reserves, the following are the likely proceedings of 2015; 1. Mass retrenchment of FG and State workers. Govt would be unable to pay the staff in each of its parastatals 2. Mass retrenchment would happen in Private companies- Since Govt is the biggest consumer of most companies either directly or indirectly and their spending rate would decrease, coys would have to sack people to remain profitable 3. Other industries would start getting attention from govt seeing that the cash cow is gone. Agriculture is the next big thing we'll most likely rely on. Akin Adesina get ready 4. Inflation- Nigeria imports virtually everything. Our naira has been devalued and so we can only buy fewer goods. Prices would increase to be able to match foreign expenses 5. Our govt would not cut the prices of the legislature. They'd still keep earning well. Why? We're selfish and greedy as a people. 6. Wealth would be transferred. Oil bloc owners would lose while farmers would gain. What are your thoughts? Correct me if you think me wrong |
easystudy101:Naah, i said remarks. I just think it inappropriate to mention one's family member irrespective of what we're debating on. Let me be clear; I don't find anything wrong with wearing it to church. It's funny that several people condemning ear rings wear neck chains to church and have no issues . But that's story for another day |
material988:You're right. Who determines what is effeminate ? Scots wear skirts, what are your thoughts on that ? Thing is society is changing and culture as well. Centuries ago a woman wearing trousers was unheard of. Not anymore |
easystudy101:First off, it's not my place to find a man for my daughter. Secondly i passed across my opinion without making personal remarks. I'd suggest you do the same; it's how intellectuals argue |
Truth is that most people don't have a logical answer to the op's question hence the personal insults they're hurling. Motive is the most important thing as far as God is concerned. So no earrings are not bad. Yes they're odd cos of our culture but odd never equals bad. Not now not ever Y'all can judge all you like but there's only one whose opinion really counts; GOD. |
easystudy101:Oh really ??!! So all men who wear earrings are homosexuals? What of those who wear chains ? Homosexuals too? And those who wear ornamental bands? Homosexuals too? |
Oluwatosean:That's simply as a result of where you grew up and your traditions. And yes we need bible scriptures to differentiate |
tr3y:But that's an off point thing to say; our organs are different and as such have different needs. But we both have ears of about the same size. So... |
men should not wear what partaineth to a woman How do you know what pertains to a woman ? Where is it written ? I definitely know trousers were made long after the time of the bible. Who decided that it is okay for both genders ? Your point just doesn't hold |
ademega:But where is it written that a man must ALWAYS propose to a woman? ademega:
If by the virtue of that proposal marriage happened and things later go wrong in the marriage , the lady will live the rest of her life regretting that day she even thought of it .[/quote So men don't get emotional and regret ?? Better don't be fooled by the smoke screen men put up in the name of macho. We're still very much humans |
