Sometimes you guys can't seem to stop surprising me. That the light went off during the match is no news, what would be considered news is that through out the duration of the games, light never went off for once. So NAIJA, carry on, it's a normal thing here.

Its a West African thing,IMO.

Of course climate change is real, but manmade "global warming" isn't. Just recently it was exposed that in Antarctica (or the south pole, I forgot), there has been a reverse in the melting of ice. This is a natural trend, the earth goes through periods to where its colder and it goes through periods where its warmer. I'm not saying all of this global warming stuff is crap, but I believe the vast majority of it is.

I agree with the bolded.Back in the 70s they had another thing called "Global Cooling" and now its "Global Warming". Earth is just being earth.

ITS NOT 2 YEARS, ITS 28 YEARS!!

People’s Democratic Party Chieftain, Chief Bode George and five other persons accused along with him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, over allegation of N85 billion fraud at the Nigeria Ports Authority, NPA, has been sentenced to 28 years imprisonment without an option of fine.

He was convicted by Justice Olubunmi Oyewole of the Ikeja High Court this afternoon.

George was specifically convicted on 35 out of the 68-count charge which border on contract splitting, inflation, abuse of office and disobedience to lawful order.

Justice Oyewole sentenced all the six accused persons to two years each on seven counts of abuse of office and another six months for 28 charges bordering on disobedience of lawful order.
