Demanding for an official closure of a recruitment process is the right thing to do.

Closure could be official cancelation or release of the APL.

We should not get used to doing things in a wrong way.

If the GMD is humane and a core professional, he would listen to the agitations on tweeter and call a press conference to either cancel or give assurance on the state of things.

Did we tell nnpc to conduct recruitment? Did we tell nnpc to employ us by force? we told MELE for the conclusion, and for nnpc to give whosoever deserves it. Even if it is cancelled, it should be done responsibly. Even if we dont get it, it is better to hear that some persons got it legitimately; even if they are 10 persons or 5 persons. With that, we can trust the system next time.....Remember MELE KYARI may need one of the E.H in his future ambitions; maybe political appointment or election. Hey guys, its quite a while. I know some people have giving up on the recruitment exercise and rightly so, even myself.

However, I salute the courage of those who still ask questions from the nnpc mgt on the status of the recruitment. It just have to happen that in our time, people are accountable and not just lock up because they feel nothing will happen. It pains me really, that 2years and not even a definite statement if it has been closed or canceled. Its just not okay. Private firm will do this and go free, should we still accept it from government parastatals? I don't think so.

I heard the delay was due to a pending court case. If they didn't hijack nnpc that was an open recruitment, how come it's this one that is easy to hijack. During that time there were lots of rumours that it had been hijacked as well just like most people are saying here now. But it didn't turn out that way.

NCDMB Executive Secretary (Engr. Simbi Kesikeye Wabote) has stopped going to the Villa because of pressure from Villa boys to hijack the recruitment��.

My former lecturer who applied for EH, told me that they’ll be employing about 20 per state. He got that information from his source in the NCDMB.

Cut cost? nnpc is not a private firm and it is owned by the government. You need people that know this job to get employed and prevent wastages.... Cutting cost is not just preventing new staff, but bringing in new staff that will maximum profit and reduce losses.....What tangible cost has been cut since? nnpc has been on deficit.. From one of my friend whose sister is currently working there, I heard that her monthly salary and yearly upfront were 600k and N8m respectively. That was in 2017 and her point of entry grade was not specified to me then.
Again, I saw the DPR appointment letter that someone uploaded on the DPR thread in July 2018. It was for the post of statistician grade level SS6 and the annual salary was N1.8m without upfront and allowances. Though someone said the yearly upfront for DPR SS6 is between N5m-N6m.
However, I will try to find out the point of entry grade for my friend's sister.

Don't know much about Court stuffs, but the way people are calling out for it here got me start thinking, personally I don't you guys have a case to take to the Court, I don't think there's any legal binding to force the nnpc management here... they can give thousands of reasons to why they put the recruitment on hold

Court wise I don't see any case, perhaps may be national assembly, using Media creating awareness etc might help ..... just saying

Update on the nnpc 2019 recruitment exercise. @NNPCgroup @MKKyari @kennieobateru, anonymous sources at the towers who approached our team stated clearly that sums allocated for the 2019 recruitment exercise were diverted. They decried the painstaking way selection of candidates Were done and are surprised that despite the heavy shortage of manpower @MKKyari has refused to conclude the exercise. That @MKKyari has been shopping for tangible excuses to cancel the recruitment and even tried to fill the advertised positions from within late last year.

The Corporation needs your Expertise. With pressure from the nnpc unions, Some Contract staff may be employed as well but this will not change the initial number targeted for EH. He could not however categorically confirm the reason for the delays.
By next month or so, there will be Advertisement for recruitment of lower cadre; SSCE and OND.

The following may be the case:

1. The GMD is lying.

2. The GMD is not serious about the recruitment.

Whatever the case, I am personally counting down to March 31 after which I will put all this behind me.
