The governor is an action governor, but in this case,he has failed it. He cannot take such decision, just because of lockdown, no,no no, Mr Governor. What I think should be done is to punish or they pay a fine to the government of Rivers State. |
This will help to reduce the spread of covid 19. So, this a good job. Keep it up. |
It's very unfortunate that this time, the world is loosing many stars. However, may her gentle soul rest in peace, amen. |
Mr Governor was asking for money as if it is his birthright. He felt that with his relationship with Mr Buhari, that the FG will just give him N15billion without due process. But thank God,the presidency took a good decision. Recall that he did not know the cause of the deaths, what he was after is the money. This is naija for you. |
I blame all the parties for this peril, the Police man takes the bulk of the blame for having ex marital affairs with somebody's wife. This is a sin in the sight of the Lord and again, the same Police has no respect atall, otherwise, why should he go to somebody's house, for that kind of a thing. Then, the wife is another idiot, by inviting her man friend their matrimonial home. She deserves to be strip naked and allow to run round the street. On the man, he said that he has been getting reports that a man comes into his house and sleeps with his wife. The question is'what did you as the man of the house do?. You don't need to wait this long, no no no. You should have confronted your wife and get it settled by throwing her things out of your house. However, that woman is not your wife, allow her to go,she will regret her life. |
The answer is simple"there is skeleton in Mr president's cupboard", otherwise, why should address Nigerians during electioneering and now that he has won, he finds it difficult to address the people that voted him in. If other president's are doing it,why can Nigerian president do same. Nigeria is at war with covid 19 and the president is supposed to be briefing us intermittently, so that Nigerians will have hope that all is well, but since this is not forth coming, Nigerians are finding difficult to believe the existence of covid19. |
This is a repeat of what happened in Kano. I urge the PTF to rush to the local government before it gets out of hand. We cannot allow what happened in Kano to repeat itself. |
Government has a role to play in this regard, and the role is that security and lives of the health workers must be guaranteed. This should be done, by ensuring there is enough ppes, good allowances and incentives. Not only that these will motivate them, but will also have faith in the government. With this, the issue of rejecting patients should not arise. |
When can we start trusting government, when they will tell us one and do another. May God help us. |
What I know is that come rain, come sun, we Nigerians must win these wars; covid 19 , boko Haram etc. It might take long, but there will be light at the end of the tunnel. Rest in peace, gallant officers. |
It is regrettable that covid 19 is increasing on daily basis in Nigeria, instead of decreasing. The question that comes to mind is, why increasing instead of decreasing?. The answer is that Nigeria has more carrier of covid 19 cases than is tested. Based on ncdc, about 4000 Nigerians are being tested daily. Now, with this rate, when can we achieve testing of Nigerians with a population of about 200million people. For Nigeria to achieve this, there's the need to take this to local government areas. At least one general hospital should be equipped to handle covid 19 issue, This will definitely go a long way in reducing the spreed of this pandemic. Another important thing to look at is the treatment being metted on covid 19 patients. Recall that the Anambra index case complained about how he was dumped in one of the hospitals, no food and no treatment. Any case that hears about this, will prefer to even die in his house than to come and suffer in a government hospital. With the assistance from international communities, we can achieve a better health care in this country, Nigeria. |
It is the time all Nigerians should come out and talked about this herdsmen harrasment in Benue State. It is becoming unbearable and cannot continue like this. Democracy belongs to the people and since the government has failed to discharge it's duties, what else do we do as people, all rich people, pastors, traditional rulers, emirs, governors should come out and speak with one voice. It is only through this means, that government will listen to Benue issue. |
It's obvious that Nigerian law is exclusively for the poor masses. In Abba kyari, no social distancing was observed and now , still no social distancing. But if it were the poor Nigerians, the law will be enforced by the security agents. What they should understand is that covid 19 has no respect for the rich or the poor. And we should do the right things now before it gets out of control and by then, everybody will be running from pillars to post. A word is enough for the wise. Stay safe. |
Nigerians are at a crossroads and is only God that'll save us. |
If federal government cannot chase those that came to bury Abba kyari, federal government should as well chase away covid 19 from them. |
Man of God, what we need now is the cure to covid 19 pandemic. Abba kyari has gone. Now we need to match foward and prophecy on the current pandemic. |
Honestly,I weak for this country, the government will say one thing and do another thing. The government said that private hospitals should not handle covid19 patients. The big question is why didn't first cardiology hospital inform ncdc of the presence of Abba kyari. They went ahead to treat him without following the rules. Who knows,if he had gone to covid 19 hospitals, he would have been alive. This should be a lesson to both the government and Nigerians that no body is above the law. Recall that when Abba kyari came back from Germany, report has it that he refused to go on self isolation. Haba, what country are we on that some people are above the law. I really cry for this country and pray God to help us. |
Oga Garba, this country belongs to all of us and there is order that anyone who dies of coronavirus will not be released to his family. Now Abba kyari was released to his family and you could not observe ncdc directives on social distancing, gathering of people.I expect you to apologise to Nigerians than this beating about the bush. |

I really pity this country, in last 3plus years, Nigeria was in frying pan and in this 4 years, Nigeria will be in fire. Well na God hand we dey. |
Nnamdi Kanu is no longer serious and this has been my fear since... betrayal. How can he be speaking from both sides of his mouth. Today Biafra, tomorrow Buhari and next tomorrow Atiku. I can no longer trust any body. |
OP, you are very correct. I went to Osse mkt with my 9yrs old daughter yesterday and she discovered that vegetables Dealers do wash their vegetables by the bank of river niger, where people were throwing dirty, bathing, pouring dirty water into and urinating. She said `Daddy see where these people are washing vegetables, very dirty. I will not eat outside again'. Really,I was touched,if a 9yrs old girl can discover this herself, then Nigeria is finished. |
This is the governor of the year, whether the enermies like it or not. |
The truth remains that the alleged missing 24 police cars would have been part of the former IGP handover. As far as they we're not part of the handover to the new IGP, then the new IGP is correct by saying that they were missing. Yes, 24 cars worth millions of naira should not be swept under the carpet in a handing over process. |
Very unfortunate. |
Nigerians are tired of APC and its goverance. Since the inception of this administration, Nigerians have been suffering untold hardship. Just imagine a litre of kerosene is now N200 and so is applicable to other things in this country and how I wonder what will happen before the expiration of this administraion. There is no gain saying the fact that what Nigerians are seeing now is not what they expect. May be before the end of this administration, a litre of kerosene will cost N500. This is too bad and it is high time Nigerians expressed their mind in this Edo governorship election. Let Edo people come enmass and vote out apc. |
This trend is fantastic |
May God save us. RIP to the dead. |
APC led government is making us(Nigerians) to regret voting them into power. What we hear over the media is ' give Buhari time'. How long can we wait...10 years may be. |
I like this Fayose of a man. |
Empty treat...empty drums make the largest noise. Nothing will happen. |
They will use tax payers money and not money from crude oil. Hehehehehehehe. |
