BlueRayDick:Well said. 200k earner anywhere in Naija today is only struggling to exist and not living. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by sebod(m): 9:47pm On Mar 28 |
raumdeuter:As a matter of fact, I doubt if there's anyone earning 200k anywhere in Naija today that can actually afford to buy a decent car without any other additional income unless he is gifted. Someone bought a pencil light Toyota for 700k in 2013 and sold it for 1.4M in 2024. That's the kind of car a 200k earner can afford to buy in Naija of today after months of savings and collecting loan from office. Pray tell, how would such person afford to hire a driver. Like I said before bro, you are still viewing this country with the wa it was when you were here. Na we wey dey here fit tell the story. 4 Likes |

raumdeuter:Bros just drop this argument abeg! The scenario you are painting is that of Nigeria of may be ten years ago. You can argue that someone earning 200k in some parts of the country can leave a decent life but not the kind of life that can have a driver and maid on his payroll. It's obvious you don't know how bad situations have become in Nigeria. Where will a man working in those remotest places you are referencing get a job of 200k per month? From which company exactly? 3 Likes |

raumdeuter:The same way you can easily turn the amala the other way and argue in favour of the matter. I hail your energy ooo. But on a serious note, it was obvious baba Tinubu no try for that matter all in a bid not to displease some certain forces then. But now that baba is fulfilling his dream as the GCFR, much is expected from him. He is not doing well so far. 3 Likes |

This is me just thinking aloud! Herbert Wigwe was never a politician and yet, his funeral witnessed so much dignitaries far and wide. Even Gov. Akeredolu who passed on as a sitting governor never had so much dignitaries attend his funeral. The tributes of the driver and the PA were all I needed to conclude he lived a life of impact. Only if our politicians can think, retrace their steps and start living for humanity, then Nigeria would be a better place. 3 Likes 1 Share |

One funny area people are not paying attention to in this cashless policy issue is the excessive bank charges. Imagine buying puff puff worth of 150 Naira, the buyer is charged heavily on the transfer of 150 while the seller is also charged 50Naira for receiving just 150Naira. How does the seller make gain after losing 50Naira on every transfer he receives? 1 Like |

How Iniesta was an AM in a 4-3-3 formation still baffles me honestly Guys here should know that this same Iniesta was the best player in the world to Ibime until the UCL goal against Chelsea happened If you want to doubt this, we might have to beg Raumdeuter to help us with those posts.... 8 Likes |

What a match! If Tores is not over hitting to balloon the ball into the sky, he will be under hitting just to pass to the keeper. His positional awareness is the only thing worthy of note. He needs to brace up. |

it's nice to see many Chelsea fans now having divergent view with Ibime gone were the days when he would hold a view and every other shekpite will be queuing behind him except a certain Nihilist. Nihilist remains the only soldier that was/is able to match Ibime with words, tactics, craze, amala turning and what have you. those days used to be bloody until they both reached a truce. Ibime has a smart and tactful way of laundering his agenda, only Nihilist has his passcode 15 Likes |

How could two players provide the needed good balance for Pep while many players together with the exceptional Lampard could not provide same for their country? 2 Likes |

[color=#550000]Should everyone earning 53k and below turn to crime? That will be around half of our population if not more. Let's know now because people don't need guns to turn criminals If their justification for terrorizing citizens is the failure of the government, then there are millions others that are in this category and can turn to crime too. If they need us to protest on their behalf, they should ask. There is absolutely no justification for what SARS have reduced themselves to. There is hardly any arm or sector in the civil service that is well paid or well taken care of. should the Medical doctors be injecting their patients to death because they are not well taken care of(at least, they also have the tools they can use)? should the teacher be flogging their students with to death just because they are underpaid? Just as you have rightly pointed, the government has failed all Nigerians, should all then result to haunting down innocent citizens due to government failure? Those criminals must be eradicated first............... 1 Like |

I honestly wouldn't blame Messi for wanting to leave the club he has played out his heart for. The board has obviously been the worst I have ever seen in recent time. The useless board obviously wasted the genius prime years by their abysmal signings and lackadaisical attitude. I personally wish and hope the President and his board vacates the seat of power while Messi stays to help groom the team while the club starts planning for a life after the football god as he is being gradually phased out. Messi and probably Pique (with limited role) are the only Players I would like to still have out of the group of the old guys around. However, should he decide to leave which he is justifiably entitled to, I would love to see him reunite with Pep at City. the genius deserves to enjoy football again before he finally hangs his boot. But, the club will surely miss and suffer the loss for a while and the situation can only be salvaged with a good coach and the right board and not the shameless ones we have around. 5 Likes |
