A40: Since you observed that our views are divergent but we support the same team then what is the rationale in engaging in futile arguments about a manager who has left the club? Considering we both agree he didn't deliver on the primary reason he was hired Nope, you claimed Pep ruined Jupp's work and left the club in shambles, therefore he's a fraud while Dayo holds a different opinion. You keep telling us not to believe any megedefege from anyone when you could have easily told Dayo to stop peddling us with such megedefege |

raumdeuter: We have our opinions about every issue and it doesnt have to be the same every time
Pep won everything except the CL at Bayern, But some said he failed. It wasnt like Bayern was winning the CL every season before Pep either. Note the great Ferguson won the CL just twice in his entire career. Some clubs havent won it or played the final ever
He had some faults especially with results in CL big games vs Spanish teams but overall everyone involved with Bayern Management players believed we played better under Guardiola vs under Ancelotti I got your point bro and I can't contest the fact that you guys have had different opinions on this thread. I am not praising nor blaming Pep here at all. I am just wondering why 40 would tell us not to believe whatever 'megedefege' anybody says about Pep as long as it differs from his opinion knowing fully you are the major defender of Pep here. Me thinks he should have just engaged you directly rather than telling us not to believe you. I have enjoyed you guys debate on many issues here and I'd like to see you both disagreeing on this Pep issue while engaging each other. I think those that always claim coaching a particular club is easy because of past successes can now see that it's not always easy as it seems. Anybody can coach Barca - I am still waiting for another sextuple. Anybody can coach Bayern - Carlo, one of the most revered coaches just got sacked. What do I know self? |

chic2pimp: To be fair to A40, He was Pro Guardiola for about 2 and a bit seasons. He only went anti Pep right around the middle of His last season at Munich.
The only bone of contention I have with A40's line of arguement is the "FRAUDIOLA" bit. Why the complete switch? How is He a fraud? It is okay to feel that He underachieved/felt to meet expectation at Bayern which whilst I don't agree with, I understand. However that does not make Him a Fraud.
Carlo is my favourite Coach currently and If someone called Him a Fraud, i'd take issues with that. It's okay to say He underachieved at Munich but abeg He is no fraud. I have been following this thread for a while. Dayo and 40 have been the major drivers of the thread as core fans. They engage each other and submit their opinions. It's just surprising these days that, while Dayo has been telling us what and what Pep did right, 40 has been telling us not to believe whatever good anyone tells us about Pep knowing fully Dayo is directly involved. They keep avoiding each other on that issue while they discuss together other issues relating to the club. There's nothing wrong in being a pro or anti, after all, I don't like anything called Mourinho, but that will never make me ridicule or under estimate his achievement over the years. You said he was pro Pep for like two years and now claimed he destroyed everything jupp did while Dayo claims otherwise. So, I'd like him and Dayo to slug it out rather that having them engage the outsiders. |

Somethings are not adding up here really: Raumdeuter believed Pep did well at Bayern while A-40 believed otherwise. Since these two are the chairmen of this thread, why have they been avoiding engaging each other on this Pep discourse while quoting each other on any other issue? I will really like to read the lines of arguments between these two Bayern fans and not opinions from outsiders |

mcdreeezy: It's really sad to be honest. We should be integrating the younger guys. When EV was newly appointed, there was so much talk about his love for youth. I just hope he'll be a significant progress on Luis Enrique in that aspect of integrating these younger guys.
Well, Busquets is 29. He still has like 4-5yrs to play at top level. I just hope we'll still have Samper by then or a much younger and equally good player that we won't have to break the bank for.
For Iniesta's role, that's even the more pressing need now. He's 33 now, we should be looking at getting a young starter for him from now and within the next 2yrs. Once Iniesta is 35, he'll likely move on from Barcelona just like Xavi. For me, Denis Suarez fits that profile. He'll only get better with more playing time. Well said bro! They let go of Thiago, Grimaldo, they didn't handle the development of Deulofue and D. Suarez well then, they kept sending Samper on loan. What about Halilovic? These are the guys we'd all thought would take the club to the next level. Can you remember when we played a champions league game with our team B guys and won convincingly? There can only be one Pep when it comes to youth integration! |

mcdreeezy: Sergio Busquets was 20yrs old in 2008 when Pep started playing him in the first team regularly. But we're still loaning Sergi Samper out at 22 and buying 29yr old Paulinho for €40M and Arda Turan for 30-something million pounds.
No plan for continuity. This was what got me disgusted about Lucho, I felt he should have handled the guy better. |

ddippset: Pray for Luis Suarez to step up and rediscover his best form, Pray for Nelson Semedo and Osmanne Dembele to completely live up to the hype, Pray for Andreas Iniesta to spend more time on the pitch than in the treatment room, Pray for Ernest Velvede to have sense that Luis Enrique lacked in his final season in terms of knowing when to rotate and when not to rotate. After all these we might have a chance. Pray that Pique and Titi would stay safe and free of injury because there's no back up for them, pray that Alba and Stegen would always remember the club they are praying for, pray the Messi would not miss any match to injury. You see, we have to pray for everyone. We are in a very serious case. |

airmark: One season of loss of form by a dm, can be survived when there are good back ups. A season of disappointing show by your big-signing striker, can get your team into the gutters, especially with no excellent back up. The two are not the same.
As regards morata, i know he would become good over the years in chelsea, what i want is a striker that will hit the ground running, replace costa in the art of goal-scoring, this season, not the next. My point on morata was well spelt-out, i watched him and know the system that would suit his style perfectly.
Chelsea are still looking for another striker to sign, they are not mad. The same way you watched your perfect DM and knew all he needed to become the greatest. Let me just allow you rest, just pray Morata too does not disappoint you this season by hitting the ground running, otherwise, I will personally crave the indulgence of all Shekpites to flog you openly |

This has nothing to do with any L. Comparing him with busquets, laliga board confirmed my position as he displaced busquets in the team of the season. The matic most of us criticised his game last season, is now a cornerstone of man utd's title challenge. So, slow your roll bro. You never thought, you never thought! But you have always thought all he needed was a move to a top club. Same way you have always thought Morata would not make it with Chelsea and if he eventually makes it, you will come back to tell us you never thought he could do better. Don't always be too sure next time to avoid this ' I never thought' bro. |

Life drama. But you never told us there's a life drama when you kept shoving the guy down our throats. You told us all he needed was to move to a top club playing UCL. He yielded to your advice only for his seat belt to be made stronger than that of Mikel even by the same coach he played under then. You can come back to claim your 'W' after bouncing back to show he's the best you once claimed he was or moving to Madrid/Barrca/Bayern/United like Diarra..
