With respect to Messi now being a midfielder so to say, I personally miss Xavi's old legs. It's worrying we still don't have a play maker in the middle of the park who can really dictate play from the deep to free the forwards. If I were the coach, Alves will have no place in the team again, Busi Pique and even don Andreas will have to get used to the bench. I missed XAVI. Oh I really missed the master's legs!

Form 7 point lead to 2 points lag. With some players still having a starting shirt, I want to hand over the league to Madrid right away. I have given up on the team this season.

trust me it's not going to be difficult. when madrid started this season they fumbled in their first 3 games. people said they were a new team trying to gel. but the reality is that barca has been more of a new team than madrid. from last season's team, madrid only introduced james, and kroos. from last season's team we introduced rakitic, mathieu, munir, sandro,even douglas. yet we are topping the table. everyone will see. when suarez blends in, after maybe 3 games we will be invincible. the great thing is that messi is not someone that operates aroung the box. he operates and runs in from the midfield and that will give suarez and neymar great opportunities to get into good goal scoring positions.

I don't see any problems here bro, playing Suarez as a direct centre forward will do us more good rather than having Messi as false nine. After all, Messi plays more of a midfielder these days and that position is always left vacant.

Not Mascherano's fault per say, it's that of the coach for playing him in the heart of defence instead of playing him as a 4, we have seen him Excell as a 4 than a 5 or 6, best bet would have been alves, pique, Matthieu and Alba with xavi, Mascherano and rakitic in the midfield, this would have stabilized the game.

Iniesta would have been used as a sub for xavi.

I was expecting a midfield of Masch, Xavi and Rakitic, while iniesta plays upfront. I had already lost hope when I saw busi as DM really. Even when fit, he's not been the player we used to know let alone when just coming back from injury. Since Bale was not playing, I see no reason why Alba should not play with Matheu in his position. I was seriously anxious to see pique taken off for Alba, he almost gave away another goal. I just think the coach decided to play name over fitness and he has paid for it.

This coach is not tactical at all, just noise. What could be his decision to play Mathieu at LB and Xavi in place of Rakitic? Xavi lacks the energy and pace to cope with a fast playing team like Madrid.. This is a game I expect us to win and control the ball better, but we've hardly linked up any decent play so far. Suarez has seen very little of the ball and that is coming from an opposition playing with 2 CMF.

We're likely to lose this game as Madrid are way better than us. They have the midfield.

Yes you are right. But, since I don't trust Pique's ability to handle CR7, I would simply swap the role for Matheus.
