They should be carrying out these raids on a regular basis, arrest and prosecute the culprits.
Imagine if you are a health practitioner and you inject your patient an injection, only for the patient to die there and then:in Nigeria where autopsy is a luxury and chemical analysis of drugs is like rocket science, the police will just pick you up, charge you for manslaughter and the SM will call for the burning of the facility and the hanging of the accused health personnel.

Most people are not interested in inviting men of God to their occasions compared to celebrities. Celebrities are entertainers and that is what people want in any occasion not prayers and bible. E.g Wetin mouka wan go do for Davido wedding prayer or bible reading?

NB: I don't know who a morka is but I know lots of the celebrities that attended David's wedding.
Unless you are referring to everyday pastors,if not,Nigerian big time pastors are more of celebrities than even the pastors they are supposed to be.
Imagine a Morka,Adeboye, oyedepo,Kumuyi or Oyalkhilome attending your event.
No social celebrity alive or dead in Nigeria can pull the kind of people or coverage their attendance will bring.
So if they are going to charge based on their status, crowd or coverage pull, then even that 100m I mentioned may not be enough to move them from their houses.
By the way, I dont believe this stupid blog story.
Who would pay an Anita Joseph 500k just for her to be present in your event.Unless of course, it's a Yahoo guy that just hit one big money trying to impress people at a party.

I rather invite... Pastor Lazarus Muoke, Pastor William Kumuyi, Pastor Uche of South Africa, Pastor Nathaniel Basset, Daddy Oyedepo etc, than any Celebrities who don't know left from right to give them such money
If celebrities are claimed to be charging up to 10m,a big lie 9f course, then you can imagine what a Mouka will charge,100m because there will be a retinue of aides,at least 30 security men, junior pastors to give him his bible or morka vest, etc
Politics › Re: 2027: Atiku, Tambuwal, Imoke in closed-door meeting with Obasanjo by seborrhic: 3:13pm On Feb 10, 2025
The absence of a viable, aggressive, active opposition, except for lone ranger Obi,is why Tinubu is getting away with many of his outrageous policies and acts.
If Atiku with his large war chest had been as hard and outspoken and constantly tackling Tinubu,as Obi has been trying to do, Tinubu would have rethought many of his policy decisions, actions in office and even appointments.
If for example, there have been 5 outspoken opposition governors like that of Bauchi state, against Tinubu's policies, I bet he won't be sitting comfortably in Aso Rock, doing anything he wants and Nigeria would have been better for it.

Juliearth:
Fats slow down venom mobility
Fats MAY slow down poisons ingested, not,NEVER,venom that is passed through the blood vessel.
This stuff is very easy if you understand this:substances injected through the blood must be neutralized through the blood, basic principle.
Once a toxic substance gets into the blood,it tackles the blood or destroys the circulation that the entire body needs,or in otherwords,if a body system for example, the kidney is still able to receive blood supply, that blood is tainted with "toxins",destroying the kidneys,or the brain or the lungs, etc.
So how does palm oil you eat or drink help?
Palm oil that would take at least 6hours to be digested before the body gets the active components it needs from it,viz, fats, carbonhydrate, bit of minerals, none of which by the way,has any effect on venom, whenever the aforementioned end products enter the blood stream to be used by the body.
Another way to help you is this:if palm oil delays the venom, why all these years, scientists have not been telling people,"if snake bites you, before bringing the person to a Hospital, give palm oil first aid"?
Or you think palm oil is produced only in Nigeria?

Asking someone old enough to be your father to shut up shows the type of upbringing you had.

Back to the issue of palm oil... I've had my dog bitten by a snake and had already passed out. I administered the palm oil, the dog vomited some yellowish liquid and came back to life. The dog stayed alive until the following morning when the vet came and administered anti-venom. Palm Oil neutralizes the venom to an extent. Market wey you no sabi still dey sell. Humble yourself and learn. I'm talking from personal experience and not some hearsay.

By the way, the local anti-venom they usually administer in the villages in cases of snake bite are applied orally. Just so you know
Father my foot.
Commonsense if you have much left should have told u to ask yourself that if palm oil found in every community and household was effective, why are people still dying from snake bites and why hasn't the active ingredient in that palm oil be extracted to be used to produce snake antidote in commercial and easily available amounts?
Let me help your brain with the answer:because not all snakes, indeed less than 50% are venomous,so that bite your dog received which you think your useless palm oil therapy solved, was a "sterile" bite, meaning,no venom was injected.
If you like learn from this,if you like continue wallowing and spreading your ignorance till someone dies from it.
THE ONLY PROVEN THERAPY FOR SNAKE ENVENOMATION IS SNAKE ANTI VENOM DRUG,in the dosage sufficient enough to neutralise the venom.
Father my foot, spreading dangerous information and still being proud about it!
You further compounded my anger by mentioning local anti vevom.
Infact, your case is not just lost, but a dangerous one.

That's a cobra. You should've given the dog a large dose of palm oil as first aid before going to the vet for the anti-venom. I pray the dog makes it
Shut up!
Palm oil won't do anything to help the dog.
Venom enters the blood and not "eaten" or swallowed. That is the only routevthrough which palm oil could have been of very limited help.

The only time I used the ATM last year was when I had to activate renewed card after the last card expired.
The only reason I needed that card and thus had to use the machine is simply because many online transaction sites require your ATM details and if it's expired,it will be declined.
Otherwise for 2 years or more now, haven't used an ATM machine.

Kenneth Udeh from Abuja

The Senate has announced Senator Orji Uzor Kalu APC, Abia-North as the substantive pioneer Chairman of the newly created South East Development Commission ( SEDC ) , one of the Regional Development Commissions signed into law by President Bola Tinubu.

Prior to his new appointment which was made by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during today's plenary, the former Abia Governor chaired the Senate committee on Privatisation.

Also recall that the Senate confirmed the board membership of the SEDC after considering the report of Senator Kalu.

Orji Uzor was appointed as chairman of the SENATE COMMITTEE,not the SEDC,whose chairman can only be appointed by the NIGERIAN President.

Paraman:
We're no more subsidizing the naira like it was done back then. Don't forget some obidients were claiming naira will be 2500/$ by now.

You shouldn't be angry the naira is gaining value. The reason Dangote can comfortably cut price is because the naira is gaining value. If it can continue like this price of fuel will keep on falling.
I don't like Tinubu because I feel he is the least competent and least corruption free of the major candidates that contested and he has made a lot of policy missteps, but yes,the fact remains that the way things were going expectation was that by now,the ₦ would be trading at about 2500-2800/dollar.
The ₦ seems to have stabilized and done better than feared and this would have a major effect on prices of goods and services.
You are also correct to state the fact that Dangote is reducing price of fuel not because he is a patriotic Nigerian but simply because the ₦ is appreciating.
If naira appreciates further to say 1200, fuel price and many other products prices will also reduce.
One may hate the man but any economic improvement will positively affect the lives of Nigerians,so should be welcome

This is the basis of the woman's anger, it's not just because of the quit notice.

Guy seemed fed up with the woman's growing disrespect and not giving him the do,as at when he needed it,which he felt entitled to for the free rent.
Gave quit notice, woman conversely felt she had been used and attacked him out of that anger.

Crime › Re: Police rescue Ebonyi lady from suspected ritualist in Abuja hotel by seborrhic: 8:34pm On Feb 02, 2025
F ools.
This is a case of armed robbery plain and simple.
So a ritualist would take someone to a hotel he doesn't own or in cahoot with the Hotel management and plan to kill a lady inside the room, take her body parts and leave the Hotel?
Sometimes when you read a Nigerian police report, you get embarassed and wonder if anyone in the Force went through a proper school, talkless of undergoing professional training based on their job designation.
The other puzzling if not dangerous part of this story is this:so the Hotel staff went into the room, saw the girl tied up and in that state and left her like that, went to the police station to report and the police came to meet the girl in that condition?
What if she had choked to death, suffocated or even went into shock out of sheer fear before the police arrived?
