They stoned GEJ when it was only BH controlling about 5 LGs in the just Yobe and Borno. Now insecurity is now a daily phenomenon in the entire North and you not only have BH,but organised bandits, kidnappers of all shades and Islamic terrorists having free reign. Is it when these set declare their own country from areas they now control and tax that the North will know they have an existential crisis on their hands and hold someone responsible? Obi may have his shortcomings and maynot have totally stemmed the threat posed by these hoodlums, but (1)the insecurity wouldn't have been this widespread and (2)most importantly he would be on top of the situation by putting pressure on the service chiefs to find solutions, lest they get sacked and they will because they know they can easily lose their positions and jobs! |
But let's be sincere. Where else, even in the most democratic, equally divided and far well off nation, like the US,can they tolerate the incompetence and untold suffering Tinubu has unleashed without widespread protests and even destruction of government facilities? There was some hardship under GEJ and worse under PMB but it was a gradual, scaled hardship that Nigerians gradually adjusted and made provisions for. Even under PMB,despite the hardship, food and cost of living wasn't this killing. Why I doubt that BAT will lose in 2027 is this:In Yoruba states, they can afford to give each voter 50k. 50k,5m bribed votes total in Yoruba states for blabulu will only cost the FG ₦250b. 10m votes, that can win the election will only cost ₦500b,a mere $300m that him,his son or even a Chagoury can cough out without much as a sweat, money they will recoup under 6months with a single contract or petroleum import profits for 3 or 6months. Don't also forget the likes of Wike that with the FG behind him,can write humongous election figures in states like Rivers and even Bayelsa. Finally there is INEC,whose policy remains that no matter how patently rigged an election is,once it's announced, you are asked to go to court, where corrupt judges are waiting to authenticate the flawed result. The only way to remove bat is either through massive protest, the military or if a single opposition party can come up that will neutralize any rigging plan he concocts in the SW,Rivers with equally matched financial power in the North. The Easter can't vote bat but the margins the East will give cannot supplant the rigging figures they will produce from SW and Rivers. So the North is where the battle lies and despite what their governors and emir are saying now about bat, come 2027 some of them will surprisingly start dancing to his tunes,so you need to outsmart him with the voters, monetary and rig wise. |
EvilMerodack:They didn't go on strike when blabulu declared "subsidy is gone" with no plan in place. They didn't go in strike when the first wave of severe hardship hit,so much so that state governments told workers to be coming for work for just few days in the week;they didn't go on strike when prices of all basic food items shot through the roof on an average of 250%! They haven't gone on strike as the already high fuel price has been further increased, sending misery, destruction and death throughout the land;but want to go on strike because one weak and easily bribed NLC president has been arrested!! They didn't join when Nigerian people protested hardship throughout the land, but want to go on strike for this? This is clowning taken to the extreme. |
So what? Yes,the rant was uncalled for and regrettable on Osimhein's part but what is Finidi now feeling like?I bet in his mind he now thinks and believe some Nigerians also naively think the challenges Osimhein has,has to do with the disrespect he showed Finidi from that public rant. Osimhein's carrier has not derailed. Yes,he wanted to stay and is supposed to be playing for another too European club, but the man knows his worth, insisted he couldn't bring his salary down and has ended up in Turkey, where,if he continues scoring goals he would still play in the champions league when the January transfer window opens. Finidi should not overestimate his own importance or self worth. |
This government has only confirmed it's cluelessness. What effect does SERAP have had on any government policy?None. It has given SERAP the kind of relevance it has not had in the courts or from any of it's countless press releases. GEJ ignored it, PMB ignored it and nothing changed or did they reverse any policy SERAP riled against. |
robosky02:Rubbish. Eguavon had the worst performance of any Super Eagles coach in the Nation's cup he took Nigeria to. Go check out the several times he has been in charge,it's been dismal results and performances. Like the typical Nigerian football follower, one good result and suddenly eguavon is the best thing for the Eagles. If his performances return to form, same praise singers of today would crucify him tomorrow |
Is Onanuga better than him if you are to go by that argument? Onanuga that lies like Lai Muhammed and cannot do a simple cross check of facts before posting like a child? If Ngelari was chosen because of his accent and looks and not his capacity, then the only reason Onanuga was chosen is that he has known Tinubu for donkey years! |
femi4:No talk am loud. They are magicians there and pick what even the heavens cannot see. |
Was she pregnant and had undiagnosed eclampsia or a previous undiagnosed aneurysm that then ruptured? No young person or young adult in good health dies of natural causes.Either accident, murder or the person had an underlying serious health issue. |
They are sitting in their rooms,in their markets or at a burukutu or Mai suya joint demanding for a reversal? Clowns! When they want a reversal they know what to do |
This story is still sounding somehow with a lot of unexplained questions or am I missing those parts of the story: (1)Where is her corpse and where was it found? (2)If he killed her in his room, how was he able to dispose of the corpse alone? It's impossible without an accomplice. (3)If he killed her in the room and she was there for sometime, did no one visit him,did the relations not come to see him. (4)If she died, was there no oozing from the corpse that should have raised suspicion and attention of neighbours? (5)The mum or whoever that the girl initially took cover from the rain, did that person not inquired about the whereabouts of the girl and if she did what did the guy tell her. Finally, how did the army become involved and was the one that did the investigating and unravelling? |
Factcheck0001:Very possible. If the person is living in a shared 3 or 2BR in say Lekki,Ajah,VI or any of the GRAs in Lagos or scattered all over Nigeria, they may be getting bills of at least 48k-60k per month,if not more. By the time it's shared amongst the occupants a room's share maybe at least that 12k up to even 20k. Even with prepaid with usage, they maybe loading anywhere from 2-4k at least per day if it's not regulated with the kind of gadgets each room uses, each day you will be bringing out 1k to contribute to buying token. That's a whooping 30k per month for a room under band A! |

santopelele:Sex is painful to them, particularly if the lady is not well lubricated. The only thing that makes it bearable is the joy it gives at the same time. Imagine having having to move your bare body on granite when you are hungry to get to fried or coconut rice with well grilled chicken. That is how sex is to them, you feel the granite and discomfort but you also know you got to get to that good food |
Zionmdde:My brother,it's amazing how Nigerians work from the answer backwards. Without doing a proper verification,I can almost bet,the Op's submission would later be proven to be a typical ill-informed take on the issue. So he is saying,Dangote just for the Nigerian market, because he so much loves Nigerians, decided to bear an extra cost,by adding ethanol, which isn't cheap,to it's petrol,to improve it's efficiency? Na so! |
I hate childish and deceptive posts just to drive home a point. It's lies like this that makes it look like the opposition to Tinubu is not borne out of his incompetence, but just tribal hate. Tinubu is clearly visible at the far right in this group photograph. Are you expecting him to be in front of every other person? You are the kind of person that made the 10 day protest fail to move the government. Instead of using facts to show why the man has failed, you rather indulge in pettiness and lies. worksmart: |
Just read headline and went straight to the name of the person that signed the press release and wasn't disappointed one bit. Even at the brink of death, some people would still side with their tribesman |
eallstar:Don't mind that mumu suggestion. Besides,is it an aboki or tout that will know how to read or be concerned about looking for any scarecrow? |
ShogunNoName:In all these rant and bravado, you didn't offer any meaningful suggestion, not a single suggestion!Just empty chest beating!! |
Bradford111:How does smoking affect the oral drugs you took? Nigerians with their annoying conclusions. |
I don't understand:2 policemen guarding THE WIFE of a STATE ASSEMBLY member! So means at least 5 will be guarding him and by extrapolation,5 will be guarding the wife of Reps member and at least 8 for the Rep!! |
We haven't even finished washing beans,he has started coming up with future excuses. |
I doubt. If anyone has been following the history of this government closely and it's policies viz-a-viz expected outcome, you would know that the economics does not follow expected and usual, standard outcomes in other parts of the world. |
ericmor:If Dangote or nnpc start selling fuel at say N750,you would see some people on air,SM and public thanking tinubu for "bringing down the price of fuel",that was selling for 580 just 2 months ago! That he met at 300!! That is how many Nigerians have exchanged their brain matter for sawdust. |
Press conference but the most important item, the price he didn't state. Soon the same people praising him would start crying when the price is would sell for at the retail market comes out. Soon you would start hearing stories of car owners and especially commercial vehicle drivers lamenting on how this "new fuel doesn't last",how it 'makes their vehicles have issues'. The Lamentations would soon begin. A head of a regulatory agency made some very serious public accusations on the quality of fuel from the refinery.Dangote disputed this. So if the man was lying about so serious an issue why is he still on the job. If he was telling the truth,is dangote pushing out lower quality products because one party must be lying. |
numericalguy:MC Oluomo threatened to deal with IBOS,other Yoruba prominent chiefs and daughters threatened worse. What happened to them?Walking free and enjoying life. Hypocrites.Once it affects your tribe,it becomes a crime, but if the instigator is your tribesman/woman,you feign ignorance! |
i once thought abike dabiri was educated. For someone of her position to even believe that a nigerian can poison fellow nigerians in a foreign country shows lack of enlightment and/or bigotry because i am sure if it was a yoruba threatening to kill other tribes, abike would have feigned ignorance. |
Clowns No disco can be profitable in nigeria. If you want any disco to be profitable, then a room in nigeria with minimal appliances should be paying or spending at least 50k per month and a 3BR at least 300k to purchase electricity Of course this isnt possible because the purchasing and earning power of niigerians is low |
francisisking:price? |
francisisking:Do you have Tecno Camon 18i replacement battery and whats the price? |
100k |
