APC won all the local governments in Ekiti. And this is a place that is usually around 50 - 50. But my igbo tribe has finally succeeded in teaching Yoruba people tribalism. People that are normally very liberal. But everyone in Nigeria is embracing their tribalism with pride now just to score political points that we igbos don't have monopoly of tribalism.

Tinubu will get at least 90% of SW votes. Same thing will happen in the North, Northerners will queue behind Buhari's candidate, which means another 80% Northerners votes for Tinubu. My people will vote for Obi, which means 90% igbo votes for Obi. SS will vote APC maybe around 65%. And some bloody jokers keep living in a fools paradise that Obi will win.

Congratulations to my igbo family, we have succeeded in making the 2023 elections the most tribalistic elections in history. We just never learn. Always on the wrong side of history!

2-Nigerians, especially the youth are highly volatile like Bitcoin lol, and they go with what's trending, so will they not move on the moment big brother Naija and football season starts?

3- Elections are not won online, all these online hype is what it is, just hype, fact is that most of these people shouting obidient on Twitter are doing it to grow their pages, they will not go out to vote on election day.

4- Obi should focus on offline campaign, but how many villages can he go to? That's where structure comes in, labour party has no structure In most states, so who will represent him in the villages which is where voting actually takes place? Who will chest out to protect the votes on election day?

5- Still on structure, Labour party has no governor presently, and most governor's will be desperate to deliver their state to their party, they will use police and soldiers to their advantage, will u as an obi supporter stand your ground when u see military men? You will pee your pants of course

6- Finally I wish Obi well but if we are being honest and reasonable with ourselves, we know Obi knows he's not going anywhere.

While I agree with the first poser, concerning a Muslim -Muslim ticket, it will be a big blow to Northern Christians in APC who have largely felt marginalized in Northern politics.

Honestly, I don't envy Tinubu and APC leaders at the moment, as this is a big decision to make and it will certainly influence voting patterns in the elections.

My personal take though is that APC should go with a Northern Christian. Although the race will be tight, it will be clear to all that a balance os being sought-after. I also think that if the APC Governors sincerely and diligently work for Tinubu and combine Buhari's influence (although it has waned a bit), they should be able to take at least 45% of Northern Votes.

That 45% plus absolute majority in SW, and perhaps 40% of SS votes should be enough to coast home.
