It's a nice looking Tugboat, however, why does it take the military so long to build this stuff. I mean we've been this boat for the past 3 years. A project which shouldn't take more than 6 months to build.

The citizens on Beegs blog have so many times mentioned this near future threat. What's the point of development when you can't secure that development.

Nigeria is along a volatile geopolitical belt on the African continent. At one end of this space is a nation like Algeria which recognises the context it exists in. It has learnt from history and is ready to face any perceivable threat to its existence.
Nigeria must learn from a nation like this.

My advice to the Nigerian state (putting it in simple language): Arm yourself; improve your defense and intelligence gathering/processing capabilities.

I felt ashamed and intimidated when I say the assets the Western Sahara separatists were fielding vis-a-vis what Nigeria fields considering that Nigeria is an independent resource rich nation. I believe the Nigerian leadership just lacks the will to upgrade it's defense capabilities. Shame.

I am assuming the Chinese built Wing Loong 1 UCAV is among the unmanned air assets Nigeria possesses though I haven't seen any picture of one on Nigerian soil or in its airspace.
