All I want is Nigeria producing industrial grade steel.
The eastern Europeans who built the plant avoided it like the plague. I hope this collaboration with the Indians will revive Ajaokuta.
FG, GIVE ME STEEL!

patches689: Dusty air-strips = rocks
Rock + Jet Turbine = Multi-million dollar insurance claims
If we had a vast fleet of turbo-prop C-130's or whatever, and we had money to spare we could get it as a dedicated domestic transport, or maybe a dedicated platform for the Para's.
But we need a "go anywhere do anything" plane, which rules out turbines. @Patches689 Interesting. This got me wondering if the above is also a concern around the C17 Globemaster. (Henry240 pardon me for inserting a picture of an aircraft which no African country uses; I am merely curious. )

Crime › Re: Again, Nigerians Killed In South Africa by Seened: 1:21pm On Aug 01, 2016 |
I am beginning to build the stereotype that white South Africans are better than black South Africans.
Well the story didn't state if the attackers are black, white, asian or mixed. So my stereotype will have to wait. |
Romance › Re: Sex; A Weapon Or Not by Seened: 7:09am On Jul 30, 2016 |
Okay lets give it a try:
Female: Assets: Giving sex and affection. Needs: Men's time and attention (Men having more than enough cash is highly welcomed too).
Male: Assets: Giving time and attention.(M*n*y, m*n*y) Needs: Female sex and affection.
Now the male desires for sex is waaaay high - no thanks to that slave master called Testosterone. Females experience a high demand for their assets so they have more choices to pick from. And where demand exceeds supply the price goes up. Females 'weaponise' sex to weed out the less desirable men or to control the behaviour of their partner to get whatever they desire.
Now where is this woman; Sandoski!!!!!! |

Business › Re: How Can We Save Nigeria Economy From Further Recession? by Seened: 6:22am On Jul 30, 2016 |
The Nigerian economy is heavily dependent on crude oil sales. Price goes up the Nigerian state smiles to the bank. It crashes they panic. God knows the word 'diversification' has become a cliche in Nigerian economic discourse but it still remains the way to go.
An economy like Nigeria's mostly consumes mass goods that are imported. This needs to be gradually reversed. Nigeria needs to locally produce most of what she consumes.
EscapadeNg honestly I am more concerned about how the average middle class or poor Nigerian is adapting to this hard time. The elites albeit affected too can still meet their basic needs. What of the less fortunate? |

Literature › Re: Why Are Books On Igbo Culture, Identity, History Etc Expensive. by Seened: 10:53am On Jul 09, 2016 |
Noneroone: Its because most Igbo texts are original. They didnt allow foreigners to write their history and culture. If na lie ask Elizabeth Isichei and Onwuajeogu. Elizabeth Isichei's books are rich in historical research work. I recommend them highly. |
