Lol
See this man
Go to history
From the 19th century until now the Yoruba are one of the most educated tribes in the world
And having close to the British accent makes you educated?
I pity your children
I'm sure you might not be able to speak your native language sef
Hausa loved their culture??
Then why are they referred to all over the world as Hausa/Fulani? That's why you can't spot the differences between the two?
I ain't meant to be arguing with a deluded individual like you
Read history
Yoruba are known for their literacy all over the world just as Igbos are known for their IQ
use a search engine
all these long story is not necessary. Show us a video from 1950s and 60s of yoruba persons making Nigeria proud in any way. Chikena

Indeed. Can you believe the crap these guys come out with sef? Even today, most non-Nigerian folks universally only know Yoruba language as the other Nigerian language aside English.

That is because we promote our language, sing with it and converse with it universally. Some of the best music hits out of Nigeria, like Gongo Aso, were sang in Yoruba. Queens English my foot. Some niggas are just sad wannabes.
lol...Hausa is by far the most spoken and written local Language in m Nigeria. It even has its own script...the Ajali script. Go to Kano assembly and see if they speak English like you do in your assemblies. Yet we have seen videos of many northerners from 1950s and 60s speaking good English and sounding educated. How many textbooks are written in yoruba language? So if no textbooks are written in yoruba language, how can you claim educated when you don't speak English

Lol
Yoruba can never be seen trying to associate with the Europeans to the detriment of their culture
We will always be proud of our accent regardless of where we are
Queen's English is now a criterion for success?
No wonder you guys are like this undecided
lol try another angle. Do you love your culture or language more than Hausa? But still we have seen videos of Tafawa Balewa in US sounding educated. We saw videos of Sarduana...we saw videos of Gowon. The reason we can't seem to find videos of yoruba person (except Woke Soyinka) during that era is that there is none. You had no icons until the 70s. Awolowo was embattled for much of the 50s and 60s

Lol you are a shameless loser and agbaya. What are Yorubas doing then? Selling groundnut universally?

Even Kofi Annan, a Ghanaian, was a united nation's supremo and pace setter before all other Africans so what is your point?

An Igbo commanding US nuclear missiles? What do you want Kenyans to say when their son was the first black POTUS with fingers on all nuclear armaments available to the USA?

Just look at the unbelievable and global dominance of Anthony Joshua, Isreal Adesanya, Kamaru Usman and co in combat sport before we even go into the academic, business, medical, legal, IT and professional world universally that Yorubas are dominant in.

The point is that at your age you should know we should not engage in these silly d1ck comparisons because we have done it many times and the Yorubas have never come second to anyone.

It is even innate humility and modesty that prevents the Yorubas, with far more global presence and achievements than Igbos, from 'louding it' and rubbing it in the faces of others ungraciously over our unparalled achievements universally.

This is a discussion about representation of nations by their youths and you insecure Igbos, before anyone else, had to turn it into an ethnic supremacy battle. Ask yourself why Yorubas don't do same despite having more to brag about than all others in Nigeria.

Start acting you age and not your shoe size guy.
you seem rather pained cheesy

Shut up tribalistic IPOBian, Most Nigerians in the South are like that boy. Till date the Yorubas, including myself, are very vocal in the UK about our core identity and the defence of our race, Country, continent, colour and origin.

Trust you IPOBian megalomaniac to always try and make every damn thing about your myopic self. By the way, that boy is not typical, bigoted and ethnocentric Igbo like you.

If he were he would be preaching about Igbo ethnic superiority and such jargon as you, a shameless agbaya, is doing here.
I have watched many videos from the early days of Nigeria. I have seen speeches by Zik, Balewa, Gowon, Ojukwu, ironsi, Nzeogwu etc. I have never seen any video of note by a yoruba man in that era speaking queen's English. Show me such a video if I'm wrong.
I dare say that yorubas ONLY rose to prominence from 1970 after the defeat of igbos. You guys were mostly spectators to the events of the 50s and 60s

NaijirianKing:
Since the problem is herders encroaching on unmarked farmland, and the farmers attacking herders who don't know when they've even made an incursion. The solution is to map out land in empty spaces where no one was using the land and install ranching areas, and from there most problems of incursions will be solved.

This is a vast land and there is more than enough space for everyone, in any state across our nation.

We should stop looking at states as only belonging to those from that particular tribe, we should do away with tribalism, as we are all Nigerians and can live and work in any corner of this country, we are all indigenes of every state as we are all Nigerians.

Until we take this mindset that we are one, such clashes will continue. That is why the best common sense approach is to ensure ranching areas are created so we can all know our place. You can at least agree with such, right?
with this your mentality, a genocide on fulanis is unfortunately inevitable. Cos it's obvious you don't realise how angry people are with you now
Politics › Re: If Our Coexistence With Fulanis Can No Longer Work, The Let's Break-up by selemempe: 6:53am On Mar 12, 2021
NaijirianKing:
It is hate speech like this that causes violence against Fulani.

Due to hatred and intolerance, innocent Fulani are being type branded with a bad name, this leads to Fulani being a target of aggression in the South.

Once Fulani are attacked unjustly due to false narratives, of course there must be counter strikes. These counter strikes are heavily reported in the news without the proper picture being painted. Once this happens, Fulani become the victims of more assaults, justified by false narratives.

Name one time where Fulani attacked first, Fulani only return fire.

The problem of the nation is institutionalized tribalism. Imagine a Fulani man born and bred in Oyo and speaks the language, cannot be considered an indigene of his home state due to things like "state of origin" clauses, as such he can be chased out of the only home he knows.

And we say we are one Nigeria smh....
we never said we are one Nigeria. So please you guys can go to hell and stay there

Well I just found out that in yoruba, the word 'Igbo' means forest or bush. So they call as 'Ibo' as a sign of differentiation.

Some Igbos think it's disrespectful but it might actually be a sign or respect.

One love cool

These are the Yoruba people I use to know... Brave, intelligent and love for the culture.

Thinking out loud, why is it that it mostly Igbos and Yorubas (96%) of the time that are making Nigeria proud in the areas of education, innovation, sports and entertainment overseas?
because abokìs are busy in the bush planning their unending jihad
