Romance › Re: I Met Ibo Man In Dubai by selemempe: 6:23am On Oct 03, 2019 |
BrooklynGirl: Kedu to everyone, I have recently returned from holiday in Dubai. I met one of the most beautiful men that I've seen in my life. He introduced himself to me at a tourist attraction. I'm an African American woman in my late 30's( he's 31). We enjoyed each other's company and went out every night while I was in town. He lives in Lagos and said that he imports cars and has a real estate business, that he was on holiday as well. He says that he wants me to visit, to meet his family and friends in Nigeria. He also wants to come to US to "hustle". Fast forward 2 weeks now he wants to get married in Lagos when I visit. MAJOR RED FLAG!! I'm still "technically" married to my 2nd husband (separated 2 years). When I told my "Ibo boyfriend" he says he doesn't care and we can still get married, even though my divorce isn't resolved I have filed for divorce. I may sound naive or dumb but is he using me for a green card? Should I be suspicious? He says he wants a family with me but I don't know if he's sincere. I'll be in Lagos in November.
Daalu nke ukwuu funny.. but I don't blame you. I blame the government in Africa for keeping Africa down and letting average Americans and Europeans think we are all fraud You been married twice to people you dated longer than two weeks... how did that work out for you |

I see that another fool has just liked your silly and ignorant comments. For any reasonable person who will read this: Nnamdi Azikiwe was the senate President on the date of independence. He was senate president from January 1960 to October 1960 and governor general from November 1960 Bro I'm done with your stupidity. Have a useless day |

Tolexander: Stop exhibiting your Ignorance here.
Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe was the Senate President pre-Independence. He was waiting for confirmation by the parliament to resume his responsibility as the Governor General. It took over a month before he could resume as the Governor General because Sir Tafawa Balewa Plead Sir James Robertson to hold on for a while as the Governor General until the whole Independence ceremony had finally come to an end which was on the 10th of November, I960.
So what is the justification for your ignorance on the claim? again...who was the senate President on 1st October 1960? |

Use of cell-phones has soared, and has mostly replaced the unreliable fixed line services of Nigerian Telecommunications Limited (NITEL). argest economy my yansh. You forgot to mention that that was as a result of crude oil selling at over 100 dollars per barrel. NEWS / Nigeria becomes Africa's largest economy South Africa overtaken as biggest economy in Africa after Nigeria rebases GDP calculation to more than $500bn. 06 Apr 2014 GMT+3 Nigeria has overtaken South Africa as Africa's largest economy after a rebasing calculation almost doubled its gross domestic product to more than $500bn, data from the statistics office showed. GDP for 2013 in Africa's top oil producer was 80.22 trillion naira, or $509.9bn, the Nigeria Bureau of Statistics said on Sunday, up from the 42.3 trillion estimated before the rebasing, according to the Reuters news agency. Most governments overhaul GDP calculations every few years to reflect changes in output, but Nigeria had not done so since 1990, so sectors such as e-commerce, mobile phones and its prolific "Nollywood" film industry - now worth 1.4 percent of GDP, Kale said - had to be factored in to give a better picture. Nigeria, Africa's most populous country with 170 million people, has been growing as an investment destination owing to the size of its consumer market and growing capital markets. and schools built by GEJ? MASTERCHIEF0847: I see where you're coming from, your opinion is bigoted. Southern leaders are as culpable as their northern counterparts. Obasanjo invested $16 billion in power sector with nothing to show for it, Goodluck superintended over the massive looting of the country's wealth so the South or other tribes don't have any moral authority to point accusing fingers. What you're doing is ethnic bigotry. yes the south has moral rights. Nigeria didn't start in 1999. The south apart from 3 years obj spent and 6months aguiyi spent were not part of the 34 years of northern military rule that gave the country it's present systems. And even at that, obj can beat his chest and say he gave Nigeria a working banking and telecommunications industry. GEJ can beat his chest and say he built schools and universities in all states and that he made the country the largest economy in Africa...what are the distinct achievements of the hausas in power from 1960 till date. Even nysc was done by a middle Beltan. Nta, nnpc, Nigerian airways, some of our best institutions were built by southerners and middle Beltan in the short periods they spent in power You talking about looting...who loot pass ibb, abacha and abdulsalami |

Singapore and Malaysia are not advanced Europe and both were former British colonies same period. diversity can not stop development of cause... If in 1957 Western region and eastern region left they would have been miles ahead of were Nigeria has placed them today...both regions were diverse at independence. What is holding Nigeria back is Hausa Fulani...they introduced every aspect of corruption in our country today... every aspect |
