Kapilta: boda ode, it was same legendhero that stopped people talking about politics on this very same thread and rather focus on why he created the thread. He created the thread as an awareness for his brethren to see why we need to push and chase all invaders and intruders like you and oluchi out of our fatherland, so you can return back to your overdeveloped red soil dubai. So now shhhh. Lagos is the greatest city in Africa and it belongs to the great agberos yorubas

Kapilta: you are really funny man, the fund is not there buh the Nigerian politicians are the highest paid in the world, and this is even more reason why we need to go away from the relationship. Let's develop ourself with the little we'll be making. Wasn't the little we were making in cocoa back in those years was what Awolowo used in building Ibadan then? How much more now that there are more businesses and other opportunities. There was no oil discovery in Ondo neither was their bitumen discovery in same Ondo state nor Gold discovery in Ilesha, Osun. It was only proceeds from mainly cocoa.
Imagine how much we'd make on tourism yearly after rebuilding and securing our nation where people do not fear to visit. U.K and many other other developed european countries do not have oil or any natural resources, they are living and doing better than many other countries. If it's tax we'll pay just to see our fathersland glory returning back. Overpopulation in Lagos is one of the many reasons it's so hard for the city to move forward and compete with it's mate, we'll be able to check this on our own as a nation, we can control population and many other. I'm so hurting that you are really not seeing all the op and i have been discussing. Even if money starts falling from heaven to Nigeria for free, there are too many regions to spend the money on, they'll forgo some for some and in next 100 years, many places would be same.
Travel all around yorubaland, you'll prolly understand what we are saying here, look at how it has all ruined and compare to where we were before the useless unholy relationship. Maybe you'll undesrtand. so in essence you want oduduwa but candidtalk want one zoogeria... chai omoluabi that must hurt |

LegendHero: Bro I swear one Nigeria limited our growth.
We have Lagos with the sea port, investments, and the economy (Crude oil is also here in tiny deposits). We have Ogun state with the Industries and intellects ( Crude oil is also here in tiny deposits). We have Oyo state with the landmass for Agriculture to feed the Yoruba nation. We have Ondo state with the crude oil (infact the 5th or 6th largest producer of crude oil in Nigeria). We have Ekiti with its natural resources and its academicians. We have Osun state with the gold deposit. We have our brothers in Kogi, Kwara, and part of Edo also to join the league.
Why can't we stand alone and harness our resources to complement Awolowo strides. We are born intellectuals, why do we chose to remain in this shackles called Nigeria? why why exactly. Why? |

90five: Bro, do you really do this to push a point or just to troll.
If it is the former, I would say you are one of the reasons Nigeria has not moved a bit, how do you categorize such thing as infrastructural dev in 2019?
When a point is raised, it is left for you to either agree or oppose such point with valid evidence, what is your defense against people accusing tinubu of the gross misconduct he is involved in?
Hopefully, you are a youth and you allow yourself to be used by people that would be dead in the next 20 years living a wasteland for you and your generation. Obviously, you four years at school, if you even had one, is a complete waste of time if you can see the obvious and decide to speak for it cause of sentiment.
That goes to all of you who only see two parties, tribalism and religion and allow your decisions to be swayed by sentiment your for years at the University is a waste of time, money and resources. lol you are trying to reason with a robot...well good luck with that |

Compared to other minior groups, plus, the whites payed attention more to the three major ethnic groups. In terms of education and the likes, so don't be surprised if you couldn't find any minor group on that list. But the Hausas, meeeeen those people are unbelievable. And it's not because the other tribes don't like igbos (after all 90% of easterners reside outside the east). It's because of lack of foresight, unhelpful emotional appeal to pity i.e always ready to play victim and zero efforts at strategic planning or political calculation. My dear, u better wake up! Don't call yorubas, cos ur not in the same boast. Yorubas are the smartest of the three tribes lmao...you still don't even get it. allthingsgood: To be honest I don't see igbos achieving anything tangible politically in years to come. Easterners are to busy chasing shadows, still ruled by emotions and pains of yesteryears. It's unfortunate. Worst of all many are still stuck and unable to move away from the Biafra scam that was sold them. Chai! by achieve anything tangible politically you mean getting an igboman as president so that we can brag like the yorubas? Lol. The yorubas will look back in 50 years time when oil is dried up and when the situation in Nigeria has become really desperate and tell themselves the truth that dividing Nigeria was the only good politics they would have played today. In the next 50 years I assure you that most smaller African countries would be light years ahead of Nigeria...while tinubu's family would be living in canada. You call Igbos emotional..yes we are. We are the tribe who emotionally saw tomorrow. You think Nigeria is bad now? Lol wait a few more years when oil is over |

Where exactly have the Yorubas ever wronged the Igbos? How exactly did we hurt you to always get this magnitude of hate from you? Can you in a simple sentence tell me the sin of the Yorubas against the Igbos?
I’m waiting! a thread was created to highlight the injustices of state creation against Igbos. Yorubas was not mentioned by the op but guess who replied first to the post. Chai I say it again and again...the number enemy of Igbos are the westerners. They are 80% of the so called 'we the south south'. Their duty here is to find Igbo threads and shït on it. What is our business that yorubas don't care about their lands outside south West? Should it somehow translate that because yorubas don't care about oduduwa Republic or their land in north, Igbos should therefore not care about Biafra or our lands in south south? I repeat..we must fight and defeat the north but we must first fight the west to survive |

We know you hate them, the reason is because they are different, they have ibibio ancestry. a rabid Igbo hater such as yourself has no place talking about Igbos and unity. Don't be a unity begger. Can you tell us when this so called Igbo war of aggression happened? Who led it? Which Igbo clan was he from and in what year? How come they chased you out of ngwa and didn't chase you out of uyo and complete the annexation? We accept that for 400 years (longer than Nigeria has existed) the ibibios and the Igbos plus the ijaws and ogonis were in a political and cultural arrangement called Aro confederacy. A lot of shared names and culture...but to suggest nonsense not known to history is wicked and sick

Another problem of the Igbos is their inability to identify their enemies. Enemy of my Enemy is my friend NO DEY WORK.

The Yorubas are neither our enemy nor our problem.
Ta ka bu gbuo you made a lot of sense, but saying yorubas are not our enemies is a big mistake. They are our most dangerous enemies. It wasn't a Fulani or Niger Delta man who killed 3 million Igbos by starvation. We must deal with the fulanis but we must deal with the Yoruba first |
