Culture › Re: American Women That Marry Nigerian Men by semid4lyfe(m): 11:07am On Aug 01, 2011
denny dear: Hmmm, probably gonna get my butt in a rut with this and would appreciate NOT being placed on Troll Watch: I'm an American White Woman in a 5 yr. long distance relationship with a Yoruba man that is 20 yrs. my junior. We've met face to face twice: my 1st visit was 2 weeks in Ibadan 2007, then the 2nNDvisit was a month in 2008. During these visits, I determined he was not married, nor did he have any children, and displayed deep devotion to his family of origin.

Our attempt with a fiance visa was denied June 3rd of this year, and even that has not stopped how I feel. I have given this sweet man my heart, and he remains loyal to me, in spite of every challenge we continue to face! We communicate almost every day, using my computer, our cell phones, and a decent international calling plan, of course. grin

The biggest reason I remain committed to him is this: He has fewer options available to him in Nigeria. I want him to have as many opportunities as I have seen, being born & raised here in the States. (If it's wrong to want someone like him to have a better shot at life than the one he's living now, then I was born on the wrong planet!) Big plus: he's a really great guy!

The strange thing is I'm fully aware of the repercussions of what might happen later, once we actually marry and he's living here with me. I'm a grown woman, with plenty of experience being on my own, but the hope remains that I won't be so alone when I'm old and grey!

That said, it's a 2-way exchange. Guessing I don't need to mention, but i'm gonna: Mutual attraction and high sex drive! cool
If you think that young handsome black brotha you have on your profile is with you cos of'' love'', ''mutual attraction'' and good ''$ex'' you give him, then good luck to you grin

I've placed you on a TROLL watch by the way and I hope you'll come back to tell us what happens when you're actually married and he's living with you in the states?

Leaves the thread humming maga don pay shout hallelujah. . , oh, oh, oh

Which Muna una dey talk about. . . Munachi Abii-Nwankwo, the former MBGN? Na only for that Terry tha Rapman's ''Ph Girl'' track wey be like LL Cool J's ''doing it'' I feel the babe. Since then, it's been downhill for her IMO.

Eva be like NEPA. . . .inconsistent, on and off. grin Today she delivers and tomorrow she doesn't. . .and her repoitre of rhymes appears limited to me.

Blaise although without an album never fails to deliver in all the tracks she's featured in. Na Blaise be numero uno and she's heads and shoulders above the rest

Ibime: Chariman,

How do we know she is good. Do you have video evidence?
Oga mi,

Saw a video of her goal at the European U-19 Women Championship. She's fast, has a eye for goal and truly young (no age cheating) and we could use all three attributes in the Falcons. I'm on phone so I can't help you with that right now but you can go check it out grin

Seems like her intention to play for Nigeria didn't sit well with her former club hence the move to FC Basel. Read below
http://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=5306

ESEOSA AIGBOGUN: FC Zurich told me I can not play for Nigeria
Published: July 25, 2011

Eseosa Aigbogun, the 18-year-old Nigerian super-teen, is rated by pundits in Switzerland as the biggest prospect in Swiss football.

It was initially thought Aigbogun joined FC Basel because they are planning a major offensive in the summer market, and have gone for some of the big names playing in the Swiss League. Aigbogun has clarified to the microphones of allnigeriasoccer.com why she left her former club, FC Zurich.

''The manager and coach at FC Zurich were not fair to me. They bluntly told me I can not play for Nigeria if I want to continue playing for FC Zurich. To play for Nigeria, the club officials told me to find a new club, and they also said a lot of other things, '' Eseosa, who leaves for a training camp with the Swiss Under 19 team on Tuesday, told allnigeriasoccer.com.

Adds Eseosa: I will sign the official deal with FC Basel on August 2, and then go and live at Basel. The season starts on August 6, but definitely I shall sign the contract before then.''

FC Zurich have announced through a statement on the official website the transfer of Aigbogun to FC Basel.

Education › Re: Covenant University: Accounting Student Graduates With 4.99 GPA by semid4lyfe(m): 12:20am On Jul 28, 2011
It's not about the Private university vs Federal University thing or the ''enabling environment'' angle wey some people dey talk. It's just that mathematically, a CGPA of 4.99 is impossible.

Do the maths. . . .If the guy had gotten A's in all his courses in the 4 years (8 semesters) he'd have gotten a perfect CGPA of 5.0 which is very possible. If he had gotten even a B in a 2 unit course (which is the lowest unit a course), he'd have fallen below 4.99.

It'd have been better for CU to give the guy a perfect CGPA of 5.0 than this 4.99 which stinks more than a dead rat
