Happy new month, hopefully it will be a good one for ya'll wink

Anywayz, i'm here once again(was here some months back) i'm in need of phone suggestions again ooo good 1's, i had a thread asking for 1's last time and also did another thread after with a list of phones i considered purchasing, it was some while back now so i'm sure there are better phones out now and more up to date suggestions for me to take from.

I don't ave a BB, although the 'social- pressure' has hit before and i'm tryna really avoid it, i've never been one to to do things cus people are doing it or because people told me to do it, i'm not a trend follower and i believe if i just went for a BB souly on the fact that i want to interract with friends or 'be amongst' that would be following lol. That's why i don't like all these brand stuff [/color] angry cheesy sad lipsrsealed

MrBrownJAY: i guess it must be my whack movie week as i started watching THE SUNSET LIMITED and i can only say: although directed by Tommy Lee Jones, why did these two top Hollywood stars agreed to do this movie?!
the whole movie is shot in ONE ROOM and there is ONLY 2 actors in that flick, yep these above mentioned two. . . . . . . . . oh lawd!
So you actually sat down & watched that movie to the end? shocked

I watched like 5mins of that movie, saw how it was going, stopped the movie and deleted it from my PC grin
TV/Movies › Re: What Was The Last Movie You Watched - Part 2 by semid4lyfe(m): 12:40pm On Aug 30, 2011
MRbrownJAY: ^^i just watched a trailer for an Indian movie called RA ONE and i can only say OMG!!!!
one thing is certain: Bollywood is 100000000 ahead of Nollywood. people should seriously stop fooling themselves with that "Nollywood second largest film industry" crap.[/i]
''Technically'', Bollywood is almost at par with Hollywood IMO cos most of their films are very well made. Apart from that, their films have very good plots and the stories are well told although just like Nollywood, many of them still copy the plots of Hollywood films. Also, Bollywood still produces lots of really wack films but on a lesser scale than our industry.

Me, I've just ''rediscovered'' Bollywood movies and in fact, I bought the DVD compilations of Shah Rukh Khan & Aamir Khan two days ago. cool

MrBrownJAY: Alas, i just saw that the reviews for Elephant White are really bad!!!!
To say Elephant White [2011] is wack is an understatement grin

Sagamite: Nigeria is just creating bundles of cretins like LoveKing, premechaz, JUO, eggo, tuto, Pennywise, LesbianBoy, leggoo and komek.

We need to take people like these to the woods, put a bullet in their heads and build a new nation.
Itching for a ban are you? grin

Nairaland General › Re: My Conversation With Unilag Babe This Morning by semid4lyfe(m): 1:34am On Aug 29, 2011
volasunkan: all those who failed to maake UNILAG and those with serious beef for the skl would do anything to make this kind of silly 'joke'.For all I care,no serious Akokite will find this joke funny!
Imagine this kind of thing on the internet for the whole world to read!It is the height of mischief and some of us will set the records straight.
For the records,
this is the school with the highest admission application and most competitive enrolment in the whole of west Africa!99,871 yearly applicants for 6000 slots,at the end of the day, when the 91000 plus fail being admitted, would start running down the school while they wish they could be part of prestigious UNILAGl!

The only school which insists on 6 credits at one sitting even when other schools and jamb accepts 5 credits at two sittings!

The only school strong enough despite the unparallel Lagos social pressure on scholarship(no other school can withstand)yet kept itself,as proven over the years,to remain the university of first choice.

THIS IS THE ONLY SCHOOL GOOD ENOUGHTO PRODUCE THE PRO-CHANCELLOR OF UI (Wole Olanipekun)AND CHAIRMAN OF UCH(Dr Sunny Kuku)!

NO AMOUNT OF BEEF CAN ERASE THIS,PEOPLE SHOULD STUDY HARD IF YOU WANT TO AT LEAST MAKE UNILAG MERIT LEAST AND BE SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW SCHOLARSHIP IS UNILAG!
Tell them bro. . . .

poweredcom: Shut the heck up, what do you mean, Nobody is insulting unilag here , the poster was just trying to access how a  university girl was lost in his conversation with her,  and it surely haappens, every where in Nigeria, abi you wan tell em say for unilag people no pay for runs take enter the school for post jamb, hisss.
This story is obviously fabricated but why did the OP have to use Unilag of all the schools in Naija? undecided

Unilag still remains the University of First Choice. . . .haters & beefers know what to do grin

Abeg, leave matter for Mathias jare grin
Sports › Re: The Solution To Age Cheating by semid4lyfe(mod): 9:16pm On Aug 28, 2011
Sagamite: Lets say for example, you have to go to Nigeria in an emergency, you then realise your Nigerian passport has expired, you go to Nigerian High Commission and get a visa with your British Passport with the staff realising you are Nigerian (after seeing your old passport) who just can't wait for the process of getting a passport renewal, so waived the the whole invitations and hotel reservation requirements for a tourist visa. You get to Lagos and some immigration official hears you accent but sees you are using a visa to enter. He ask you for your invitation, hotel reservation or how you will support yourself despite knowing you are Nigerian (you can speak the language and you have your expired passport with you), he still insist on treating you like a foreigner otherwise you will be deported except of course you settle with a backhand
Tell me you're joking about the bolded part shocked

As per the age cheating thingy, me no wan burst my veins or get HBP so I don adopt a siddon look attitude undecided

And to think the Camerounian ladies will be fitter, more bonded & generally better prepared for the return leg than our ladies since it'd be coming up in October shortly after their participation in the All Africa Games. undecided
