MorataFC:Not true. It's satire and sarcasm. |
It doesn't even make sense to block anyone here cos the difference and plurality of opinions is what drives this thread. If person post here dey affect your mental health, then you're immature and have a lot of growing up to do. |
Remo Stars is arguably the best run club in the NPFL so this isn't really surprising. Also, it was only a matter of time as they had come close a few times in the past years. I'm happy Mr Kunle Soname's investment in our football is finally paying off. Remo Stars FC Remo Stars Ladies FC Beyond Limits Football Academy Remo Stars Stadium Bet9ja Congratulations to him, Remo Stars FC, the people of Ikenne and Ogun state. 🏆League trophy well deserved. 👏 |
Roland17:Perhaps there's more to it, and it's personal. Just like how Isaac Fayose beefs his former governor brother Ayo Fayose for not supporting their brother Otunba Fayose's political ambition. An un-awarded contract Non payment for executed contract etc I just dey speculate and only hin truly know. |
I'm surprised to see GeeGee defending Buhari. I thought only monnerozzi was a Buhari stan |
diggz: ![]() At this juncture, na to organize charity boxing bout akin to Portable vs Speedy between una two to squash una beef sure pass. Sheikh OasisX aka Turki Alalshikh go be the sponsor while Raumdeuter aka Eddie Hearn go be the promoter. |
I actually like the impassioned debate and camaraderie that exists on this thread. Freedom of speech dey but with the rampaging spambot freedom after speech no dey guaranteed. I do not have moderator privileges in this section but as a moderator I can view hidden posts and unblock the hidden posts through a work-around which is what I've been doing on this thread. |
diggz:Bro, na the spambot block hin post and ban am. No be me. And na only the big Oga sabi as hin take programme the bot. If you see wetin hin post you sef go admit say hin deserve the ban. I dey unblock many post steady for this thread but that hin post I no go unblock am. |
TemporaryHansel / Fadedvoiced, The spambot was right this time for blocking your post and banning you. |
Maeve7:Home management & domestic operations |
Buhari was a disaster. GEJ does not even come close. |
sleekdot:No only the boss go fit answer that question but I imagine the spambot has been programmed to flag certain words and your post is replete with them.. Anyway, I go unmark your post but anyone wey quote am go chop ban. |
OasisX:You're in a rich vein of form 🙂 |
DissTroy:I wish I could dash you more than a like and a share. Gosh, idealist dey muzz me. See dem parroting free and fair elections as if dem no see wetin sup for Edo state. Asiwaju na seasoned and well-rounded Mixed Martial Artist. He isn't going to stand in the pocket and trade punches with his opponents cos that's fighting to their strength. The opposition must prepare for the fight to be taken to the ground and be able to match his diverse MMA skills such as Brazilian Jiu jitsu, Muay Thai, Judo & wrestling. Otherwise, it'd be a shellacking and a devastating defeat. |
Ibeme:Post visibility restored. You'll regain your posting privilege in the next 30 minutes. Wait it out. |

With the power of incumbency, all the alignment and realignment that is happening in his favour, if you think PO, Atiku, or any other candidate stands a chance against Asiwaju in 2027, then you're delusional. |
Asiwaju the master strategist. 2027 is two years away but his re-election is already in the bag. I can't help but applaud. 👏 If only his political brilliance could be matched by sound economic policies that will provide succour and relief to Nigerians, we’ll be singing hallelujah in the streets. But alas, while the chessboard of power is firmly under control, the kitchen is burning and the soup don sour. Still, credit must be given to him cos on the political front, hin dey play 5D chess while the others still dey struggle with draught. We survived catastrophic PMB, we'll survive Asiwaju too. |
The free & fair election point is moot because It's not who wins the hypothetical free and fair election that will be sworn-in but the one who is declared by INEC and affirmed by the Supreme Court. |
Gerrard59:Lol. I like your choice of words, "most likely" but you're far from it. Peruse my posts at your convenience and tell me the conclusion you arrive at. |
I put my previous post about my uncle's sojourn in politics in quote so nobody will quote it and get banned by the spambot. |
OasisX:It's foolhardy for a politician to play politics with principles and be loyal to his party at his own detriment. Make I yarn you the story of an uncle. After finishing his Masters in Education Administration from UNILAG with a distinction, popsy wanted him to do his PhD but he refused saying he wanted to go back home to do politics. I no too blame am sha, things were difficult and na popsy struggle push am through school. So he went back home, got into the lumbering business and did local politics too. After years of working, mobilizing, organizing and utilizing his resources for PDP in our community and Local Government, he got rewarded by Agagu who appointed him as one of the commissioners of OSOPADEC in the state. (OSOPADEC = Ondo State Oil Minerals Producing Areas Development Commission) Hin never even stay 3 months in office, na hin Supreme Court overturn Agagu's election and declared Mimiko of Labour Party as the validly elected governor. Mimiko entered, removed all Agagu's appointees including my uncle. My uncle, a principled, loyal and old-fashioned man held on to his principles and refused to decamp when everybody under him and those he worked with were decamping to Labour party. In his words, "I brought, started and formed PDP in our LG and I would never decamp to another party". Eventually, he dusted his certificates and picked up a job as a Secondary School Principal. He combined his salary as principal with the little money he made from his short stint in government, lumbering business and managed to build a 5 bedroom bungalow in Okitipupa as well as educate his kids. All those guys wey work with am but decamped to Labour Party then got appointments from Mimiko and have done very well for themselves and their families. Many of them have built multiple properties, established lucrative businesses and generally consolidated their wealth. My uncle? Still in Okitipupa, doing backyard farming and living off a monthly stipend from his daughter in the UK. |
BlueRayDick:It'd be foolish for the police to enforce the directive cos it's discriminatory and unconstitutional. Moreover, I thought policemen only take orders from the IG and superior officers in the command chain of the force. Na this kain case NBA suppose jump on, and issue press release to rebuke the governor but they're too busy justifying not refunding the N300m given to them by Fubara. |
OasisX:My brother, I do not blame any.politicoan who decamps to another party in this dispensation. Asiwaju has achieved complete state capture. |
OasisX:He read the room, I applaud. It's the smart thing for him or any governor with 2nd term ambition to do. Make APC no do am wetin dem do Obaseki for Edo. |
Rexymania:Maybe it's location-based scarcity. I dey East and my grocery supermarket dey always get am anytime I wan buy |
It used to be Sensodyne but since GSK left the country and it became scarce and expensive, I've settled for Olemol. Sensodyne and Olemol do not contain Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) |
bukatyne:Yeah, he's extremely popular and liked. I recall he got the loudest cheer and ovation at the inauguration ceremony of the Ghanaian president ......But I'm under no illusions and I believe they'll get him eventually. All that is required is to obtain leverage on someone in his inner circle to betray him, and boom it's goodnight. It’s not the enemy outside the gate that destroys a group, but the one who opens the gate from within.” |
Mynd44:Yes, many Nigerians wear suits and white gowns, and go to church but that's due to colonization, and imposition through religion, education and law. We didn’t pick up white weddings because we thought it was fancy and cute . It became part of our formal wedding system because of power, not preference. That’s very different from a foreigner, who has no connection to Nigeria or any Nigerian partner waking up one day and saying, “Let’s do a Nigerian wedding", wear agbada, tie gele, and dobale just for fun. That's Cultural appropriation which is the act of people from a more dominant or unrelated culture picking and using another culture’s sacred traditions for fun, performance or profit, without any connection, understanding, or respect. Me wey be Nigerian, I know when we dobale, it’s not for camera. It’s respect. When we kneel, it’s not performance, it’s tradition. The Alaga that leads our engagement is not just there to shout “mo gbeyawo” , she’s holding decades of ancestral wisdom and protocol. That thing no be for aesthetics. And let’s be real, most Nigerians still do traditional marriage first, before any white wedding. The agbada and aso oke come out before the tux and tie. We know where our roots lie. So no, the two situations are not the same. We adopted white weddings under pressure. Foreigners are copying our traditions for pleasure. At the end of the day, all I’m saying is, if you no get any tie to Nigeria, no partner, no family, no lived experience, then leave our culture alone. Observe, enjoy from afar, even learn. But don’t turn our traditional wedding rites into a theme. Our Traditional weddings carry weight. Dem no be costume. Dem no be content Simple! .........And for those saying but you do white wedding, I didn't. This quoted poster knows cos he was there. |
These days, it's not uncommon to see foreigners, no Nigerian partner or Nigerian ancestry having full-on Nigerian weddings
