Actually, you're the one spreading the false news. We played the 2010 world cup but didn't qualify for the 2006 edition.

Have you heard of spêrm donors? I guess in your culture, they are entitled to claim the child.

drug dealing is a crime both in nigeria and the uk,so the government must work together, but a man collecting his own child isnt a crime in Nigeria,so the british government would meet a brick wall
Oh, so kidnapping a minor, of 2 yrs for that matter, is not a crime either in Nigeria or UK?

And pls, the baby was kidnapped by the granny, not the seeming father. Even if the seeming father had done the kidnapping, the name of the crime won't change.

like i said the mother is a born Nigerian,as for breaking the law, first the child is not yet a british citizen in other words the baby in question is still a Nigerian,so it does not apply, secondly you can't come to Nigeria to try a Nigerian, you first have to pass though the Nigerian courts
Not if the crime was commuted on British soil, it will be tried in prosecuted by the britsh.

There was a recent case of a Nigerian drug dealer I guess, who ran to Nigeria. He was traced, tracked, caught and with the aid of interpol, is being returned to Britain for prosecution. This is regardless of his status as either a Nigerian or British. In fact he was referred to as a Nigerian.

Politics › Re: Observation: APC Has Paid Agents On Nairaland! by semitunde: 4:29pm On Oct 10, 2014
OKDnigeria:
Few days ago, the publicity secretary of APC (and their lair-in-chief) Alh. Lai Mohammed insisted that Asari Dokubo was one of the two Nigerians arrested in S.Africa in the now infamous $9.3m arms deal. In arriving at this conclusion, Lai quoted two 'reliable' sources from where he got his information. One of his sources is Nairaland.com.

My argument here is not whether Asari is guilty or not. My point is that this goes to show that APC indeed HAS PAID AGENTS on Nairaland (and maybe other social media platforms). And for Lai to mention it, it suggests that they constantly monitor NL to make sure that their 'employees' are active enough to justify their pay.

What is the job of these agents?
Simple: make anti PDP/GEJ posts while flooding NL with pro APC posts; do everything possible to portray PDP & GEJ in bad light; discredit anything that seems unfavorable to APC(whether they're true or false).

My suspects are NgeneUkwenu, barcanista, berem, omenka etc (you can add to the list).
That's why every time anything negative is said about APC, they attack, they course. And whenever anything good is said about PDP, they criticized & insult. But whenever anything good is said about APC, they support & defend & exaggerate.

The most tenacious of them is berem (I think she's their NL coordinator). This lady (though I have my doubts whether she's really a lady) works very hard at her job. She's ever present on NL, hovering around, like a ghost. She neither sleeps nor slumbers, neither tires nor grows weary. I commend her tenacity.

Please understand me, I do not begrudge them, I do not condemn them (after all, man must 'wack'), I'm only making an observation. But let them beware! Don't depend sorely on this job, have an alternative. Because after Feb 2015, after Jonathan must have won (make no mistake about it, he will still win), you will be out of job - my candid advise.
So wait let me get this straight, APC puts paid agents on Nairaland just so they can authoritatively quote Nairaland as their source for official and govt secrete info?

onila, she's a bïtch?
put yourself in her shoes - what they did to her was wrong? why not take her to court & let the court decide who should take custody of the child?

they took law into their own hands, stole a baby across the borders, left the mother in grief and you are calling her a bïtch? there must be something else you are not telling us. are you sure you are not sleeping with the babydaddy?

and theirs would be conducive?
ebola alone would make the judge think twice not to now talk of FGM, tribal marks, child marriage, etc. it's a long shot.......no judge would buy such nonsense.

unless she's vying for a political post or applying for a job, her instagram profile would not even come up in court......the judge would laugh in their face. what has her profile gotta do with the fact that her baby was stolen?

Well, they might want to use that to prove that her lifestyle does not help build a conducive home for a child ( that young); and that she's therefore incapable of mothering the child.

Won't really sell though...

You can't trust these heaux!

She has a baby dad, yet there's a picture of next guy with abs on her insta. grin

Not saying anything - but you always know the Unis where you go to for a rave, will definitely find some random chic to let you sleep in her house after the rave. Uni life was crazy! grin
She has a baby daddy does not mean she can't have a boyfriend or a male picture on instagram. Not especially when the said baby daddy denied the pregnancy by requesting for abortion.

Showing whatever parts of her body can't go far in proving mental instability in court, not when she's also trying to graduate from a uni.

All arrows still point back to the ill advised granny.

Well I'm sorry I don't believed that, and neither will any neutral observer. What I do believe is that the lady owns the baby and the baby was taken from her without her consent. This is simple enough, I'm sure you agree and support my thought here Abi?

Where is your evidence?

Its not disputed that the lady in question is the mother of the child. That thegranny took the baby, her baby, without her consent is not also disputed. I don't think she has much to prove from her side as regards this issue- which is child abduction/kidnapping/trafficking.

Any points raised by the boy or the granny are subject to proof. And even after proof, it doesnt justify the actions of the granny, not in Nigeria or UK.

yes, he must have denied the child at the beginning
remember he was very young when he got her pregnant
and most guys at his age, wldnt be ready to have such responsibility

but trust later on, he had no choice but to accept and also raise his daughter after she was born or even before
I remember seeing his elder sister holding the baby after she was born on instagram and facebook
his sister flew from the US and mother from Nigeria just to meet their brothers new baby

this is not the first time, Mrs Ehiemere has been with the child
shes comes from a responsible family
I am sure she wants her granddaughter to have a better life
I am very sure the baby father and his mother have been helping the mother financially all this time

I wont be happy if this woman gets into trouble because of her silly son
Can you show evidence of the bolded? And while at it, tell me how you are convinced the granny had to kidnap the baby to prove her point.

First, you're the one making an assertion that the so-called Temmy is a real woman and better than others because she had a baby she fed on welfare. Here in the state, we have people like her and majority of them are in the ghetto, raising kids for the prison complex.
You are confused and I seriously doubt your sanity. Trying to argue that people like the victim raise kids for the prison complex actually goes against what I've read about the victim so far.

In fact, the evil granny and her pregnancy denying, baby snatching son, are the ingredients you need to have a baby growing up in prisons.

You are mentally hopeless.

Typical Yoruba women; breaking up Igbo family since 1914. They will come as holy, then show their true color when they get once they need.

Just look at how ofe_manu girl broke apart P-Square family; putting asunder between mother and son, and between brothers.

The hoe called Temmy is Nigerian, why not her come to Nigeria and take care of the case, instead of chasing wild goose online.
Lazy people always looking for who to milk dry.

In most Igbo customary law, the kid belong to the man, except he chooses not to marry the girl. However, majority of kids who grew with their mothers tend to go back to reconcile with their father's relative when they've grown.

a crime in whose eyes,in the british eyes and laws yes i agree a crime may have been committed but in the nigerian eyes and law no crime has been committed because a father cant kidnap his own child.and yes she was hiding if not she would have allowed the child visit the father in nigeria
Why do you keep repeating that a father can't kidnap his own child? That kind of thought is myopic. There are several instances where a seeming father can be said to have kidnapped his own child.

I'm sorry if this question will cause any form of discomfort to anyone here.

I was recently in Ibadan, oyo state.what i saw was really amazing...I was amazed to see every Tom,Dick and Harry coming to beg for alms almost every 5minutes.

The most amazing part of it is that, the beggers in question include both the young and old, male and female.

I'm really disappointed and would really want to know why the state is like that.

Ps:-this is without any tribalistic intention.
I pass by oshodi on the way to the island everyday and, it's appalling, but I see several groups of specialized beggers on the streets all along the way.

Each group always has an injured or diseased person with the others carrying him/her and the pictures around in the traffic, singing mostly Igbo songs.

This may be uncomfortable but, I want to know, do igbos discuss this in monthly meetings? Are the perpetrators of this evil vices called up? Do they even care for the impact of this on the benevolence of givers of alms? What are igbo governors saying about this shameful act, especially in the wake of the deported Igbo invalids?

No tribalistic responses please. I'm only stating my observations like the op.
