Hello friends, I'd like to ask intelligent and older minds for advise about an issue before I react.

My wife's elder brother is visiting my house and my wife has been serving his food first before serving and bringing my good, in my own house.


Please I just want to ask if this is wrong or right or even just normal?

I worked all through the night and was famished by the time the day broke this morning. I gave her some dough and told her to prepare me noodles and sardine, emphasizing on the fact that I was very hungry.

NOTE: Her Brother was still asleep at this time.

She prepared the meal, split it into two. Woke up and served her brother first in my guest room before coming to my room to give her hungry husband his food.

I was so mad, I ignored the food, went out to smoke a cigarette. While I was doing that it occured to me ask for advice here, because I didn't want to ask anybody I knew personally.

I still don't know whether to be mad, or to just ignore it.

I am a strong believer of common sense and respect and her actions this morning lack both! It would have take her less than 30 seconds to give me my food then go wake and serve her brother!

Is she told me she needed money for something and I put my younger sister's need over her's-no matter how tribal her's might be-i know how she'd react and the amount of making up I'd have to do.

I am trying to be very mature about this, that's why I keeping things anonymous?

Besides I'd like to know, I possibly can't be the only person who has experienced this sort of situation because they say there's nothing new under the sun. Please who has ever felt this way, I am very understanding and if something irks me, it would irk every body else too.

I guess you know nothing about the institute so no need to argue with you but just to enlighten you about some facts about ICAN that you don't know:
Firstly, since the inception of the institute in 1960's till now all chartered accountant produced by the institute are less than 50000 in number, this figure include both dead and alive chartered accountant,considering the population of Nigeria which is 180million ppl at present the ratio is 0.00027 to 1 of chartered accountant in this country.
Secondly, for a chartered accountant to practice as an auditor in Nigeria its mandatory to practice as partner, meaning a single accountant can't start up an audit firm in Nigeria, it most be 2 or more chartered accountants be ICAN will issue you a practicing licence.
Thirdly, compared to ANAN who have produced more than 150000 national accountant considering it came into inception 20 years later than ICAN (1980's), my brother ICAN is not, will not and cannot produce a substandard chartered accountant in the next foreseeable future.

This is a typical example of how we spread rumours and cause chaos within this country,

Most times when I read information online I try not to pass judgement but rather to learn what's new and what's old, what's true and what's false.
Firstly, taraba state was and is still governed by PDP so you all shouting APC think twice before you pass judgement pls
Secondly, apart from this present governor , all other governors who ruled the state legally actually performed to the best of their knowledge, the likes of Jolly Nyami, Dambaba suntia are still seen today as heroes in the state.
Thirdly, about the road, if you don't understand the terrain in Taraba state you will be fooled to believe their is no single good road in the state, taraba is surrounded by hills and high mountains which makes it difficult to have a good road channel around here, for instance from jalingo to Karim lamido on a good day is 2hrs journey but during raining season its an 8hrs journey because the road will be flooded with water for river niger.
Take a look at the pics attached, this is a road in Taraba State leading to gembu, to drive this road alone takes 3hrs of constant driving pls the weather conditions of sometimes 5 degree Celsius.

The weather here is still relatively normally compare to other states who are affected by heavy rainfall, its still cool here now and yes you are allowed to come in with your sweater and hoodies.
And pls don't forget to come with your jean and sneakers.

1. People coming from abuja, the easiest route is for you to take a bus to makurdi then from makurdi you take another bus going to jalingo from makurdi park or benuelink park, its #3000 and you will be dropped in front of the camp gate.
2. From ilorin the best route is to travel down to abuja then follow the description above.
3. From Lagos, you will get a bus going straight down to taraba, jalingo at ido park close to oyingbo, from there you will also be dropped at the camp gate.
From Lagos you can choose any of the transport company but I travel with samfan. From Lagos its roughly 16 to 20 hours so be prepared.
And the must important info of all when you get to camp is the best place to feel at home is no place other than OLAYINKA CANTEEN, don't worry you will thank me later.
