The guy just just wants an England call-up anyways. If he believes he can get into the England team, there's not wrong with that. I prefer that he plays and scores consistently at first, builds himself to become an elite goal scorer, then he would have his pick. Though England has got a plethora of forwards at the moment |

Its a Monday morning/afternoon. Let go of your tomfoolery from last week and start afresh. Where did I classify any class of banditry or criminality. Kpele ti ee, Nairaland e-warrior Essential: when niger delta started this criminality where were u? and when government gave then amnesty where were u? So keep quiet and stop showing your ignorance. Bandit, militancy and all form criminality is not good for any nation. After so many years of war American have finally learn the hard way and they have started negotiating with Talaiban to stop Afghanistan war. No government want to fight a war without end. |

Kpele, please Kpele. Las las, you go dey alright. Same for everyone makewetalk2: Tyson Fury is such a fool. what does he mean by winning 5000 pounds? that is such a disgrace. man you should be winning millions of pounds not 5000. and he will pay taxes on that.
to speak the main truth, oil price has now jumped to almost 72 $. The Nigerian government is still making up excuses with the past regime that left 6 years ago. Osinbanjo is still making the condolence visits that he was appointed to do as a vp. the yoruba youths are clueless as to what their leaders do for them. some day na oduduwa some say na nigeria. where is your stand. Look at a man who came out to fight for his own people was arrested and is being tortured but the average yoruba man just sit down and keeps quiet as if his brother is not indetention. this is how they all kept quiet when kudirat abiola was killed. when abiola was still making money he was busy spending on the same people who could not speak up for him. bola ige was killed the yorubas still kept quiet like cowards. look at all of them. Obasanjo is the only yoruba man with guts and that is why he excelled in the midst of the brutal northerners. but the yorubas hate obasanjo. I dont know who will fight for them. they keep sneaking and pretending to be fools and cowards and the system is being formed to keep them that way. acting like a coward when the northerners are crowning you the glory of cowardice is silly. look at lagos. if not the igbos, it would still be like Oyo state. the majority of the development in the west na igbos. see their brother is the vp yet another brother is in detention for doing something that is legally permitted in the constitution. yet osinbankp prefers to go to zimbabwe instead of to visit his brothe rin detention. selfish goats. and other yorubas just keep quiet. look at what they did to Funsho Williams. today the best of yoruba is being taken down one by one. the next you will hear is the Jagaban is gone. the hausas will keep making them disappear one by one. yoruba people cannot live anywhere in this country in peace. if they go to the east, they are humble goats. oh yes, sir! if they go to the east, the same thing. in the west too na the same thing. they will use thunder and ogun to strike themselves to death. they cannot just speak. why? look at our brother in detention. and una all keep quiet day wait make rain fall for una head. who will fight for you? desmond elliot just sit down day fat. selfish set of people. Fela came out to fight, nobody support am. they all hide and the man was taken down. still they do not respect fela. na people of other tribes day respect fela sef. the average yoruba man no send. what kind of people are these?
oil price is now high and there is still no sign of development. a civilian is building a refinery in a country that made him. so dangote is richer than Nigeria. weay be say government no fit build refinery na dangote fit.
refinery day warri but e no day work. and dangote day build another. wetin go make uganda get light when Nigeria no go get. what is in the light that only nigeria no fit get? poor countries in the world do not worrry about light. |

Nigeria is going through a slow paced systemic failure. Imagine that the Government now has to dialogue with all sorts of criminals, especially if the criminals have sustained their assaults and M.O over a period of time. I believe all these criminals are backed by highly placed Government/military sources |

I must say this has been one of the most reasonable and intelligent threads I've followed on Nairaland. Entirely devoid of tribalism; wow that's a first for me. It was one I had to go through the entire 21 pages of contribution being a recent entrant into the marital world. I learnt so much from the comments, esp from the married folks. It is certainly true that most spouses always have it deep down that they could have done better with their choices, it is human nature but what we have to do always is not to go over the precipice. I figure out that the OP would get his woman back eventually for the love in both their hearts is too deep, only that he is learning his lesson the hard way. But from your narratives @ OP, you need to let go of that fantasy of an erstwhile perfect spouse and see the brightest of this wonderful woman you are with. I pray God will continue to bless and sustain your marriage |

All these measures would have been perfect if there were no or very few saboteurs in the system. Let them buy the most advanced gadgets in the world and place them everywhere, it will still not stop the personnel that gain from smuggling activities in turning the blind eye or simply engaging actively for financial rewards. E.g, are there no cameras at our airports, yet we are are travelling, it is right under this cameras that airport personnel take bribes or force you to give them even when you have nothing to hide in the fear of being delayed and missing your flight. I don't know how, where or when we will make things right in our dear nation |

I say a prayer for you at thus moment. May you continue to increase in wisdom. I was so irritated by a religious/tribal bigot this morning forming saint on a thread he opened while an earlier bigoted post of his was removed by the mods. Same people are now seemingly at each other's throat on social media. Give it a lil time, they will soon go back to their hatred, jealousy, chauvinism, misogyny and nepotism. OkCornel: Oh, the double standards in the nature of man.
See how the xenophobes (SA Kettles) and the unrepentant tribalists (Nigerian pots) are struggling to outdo one another in proving who is blacker than whom...whereas all parties are guilty of hatred and jealousy within themselves.
One of the greatest folly I have seen in this realm of existence is how humans have allowed differences they made no conscious choice of to rip apart the very fiber of their existence. No one consciously decided to be a Yoruba, Ibo, Hausa, Fulani, Zulu e.t.c, but unfortunately, we have allowed these differences to empower us in destroying one another.
Xenophobia, Tribalism, Racism are merely outlets to express the deep rooted hatred and jealousy in man for his fellow man. Kindness or wickedness is a choice. Until we address the underlying causes of this nonsense (hatred and jealousy), we will keep reacting emotionally to the results (SA Xenophobia, Rwandan Genocide, Nigerian Civil war e.t.c) ...rather than the cause...which is tantamount to taking paracetamol to ease the pains of cancer.
So ironic how the guilty parties think they can live in harmony and unity in heaven, whereas they are at each other's throat here on earth. |
