Interesting time ahead..... At every point in time, people deserve the type of leaders they have. If we're all #Obidient, definitely every other things militating against Nigeria will succumb and Nigeria shall be great again. |
It's still his right to participate in the election while it's our right to make informed decisions on the right candidate. #OBIdient |
So true..... Its time for a sober reflections!! The blood is already overflowing across the land and we cannot continue like that. #Ozoemena |
Germaine questions |
The list is not complete without OUK |
Nigeria was designed to fail from onset. It's so unfortunate that OP systematically outlined the misdeeds of Igbos in Nigerian project while praising others. Which means that Igbos have never done anything good to the country and that they deserves the state they are in today. Good to notes the role our fore fathers played while colonialism was still in vogue. But then the OP should also know that two wrongs can never make things right. However, OP did not acknowledge the wantonly destruction of lives of Igbos in the North even when we were yet to regain our independence. Anyways, mark this day, that a time will surely come when the tide will be in favour of others. Nothing lasts forever as its known that the Easterners were once in control. Today, it's the north! But who knows tomorrow? The basis of our existence from all indications is questionable. Unless we restructure the country, things will continue to go wrong. This is not the time to apportion blames but a time to think out of the box on how to make our lives better on whether to divide in peace or remain as one in pieces. #think about it |

Nigeria's brand of democracy for me have not really made an appreciable development and impact in the lives of the people especially when we juxtaposes the enormous resources nature have given us and the human capital that abounds in our society. The greatest challenge is the question of leadership! We are blessed by God with everything that makes a State great in the Committee of nations but those who are leading us are selfish and should not in the first place be called leaders. Or how can you justify twenty one years of democracy: 1. Without a credible electoral processes. 2. 21 years of democracy with flagrant disregard to court rulings. 3. 21 years of democracy with consistency in the widening dichotomy between the Rich and Poor, North and South, Christians and Muslims...... 4. 21 years of democracy with consistent abuse of human rights by the State and its Agents. 5. 21 years of democracy with massive political, economic, religious, social, ethical, moral bankruptcy, and financial crimes. 6. 21 years of democracy with disregards to the sacredness of human lives with impunity. 7. 21 years of democracy without improvement in the standard of living. Nigeria, the "headquarters of world poverty". 8. 21 years of democracy with dilapidated infrastructure ranging from Hospital, Schools, roads....., 9. 21 years of democracy without stable power supply. 10. 21 years of democracy with retired military generals who are repackaged in suits and "agbada" are at the helm of affairs with their stooges. 11. 21 years of democracy where the leaders only remembers the electorates during elections. 12. 21 years of democracy where the guilty to crimes are freed while the guilt less are in imprison. 13 .21 years of democracy where the Honorables are not honest to the people who they represent. 14. 21 years of democracy where the Judiciary are not independent of the executive. 15. 21 years of democracy where the Legislature is a rubber stamp to the executive. 16. 21 years of democracy where the Executive always renege with the Social Contract it had with the people. 17. 21 years of democracy where the youths are good in thuggery other than being gainfully employed. 18. 21 years of democracy where the leaders since independence in 1960s, 1970s and 1980s are still in power. 19. 21 years of democracy where the Media has been gagged and only made to report what pleases the government. 20. 21 years of democracy where the insignificant few cabal decides the fate of over 200 million people. 21. 21 years of democracy where the Leaders does not know the meaning of "democracy". They make this democracy to walk with its head rather than its foot. We are blessed by God Almighty with everything that makes a State great in the Committee of nations but those who are leading us are selfish and should not in the first place be called leaders. However, until the philosopher kings becomes the leaders or the leaders becomes philosophers shall we collectively say to ourselves that we have arrived. Other than this the miseries of the masses will continue to abound. I therefore uses this medium to appeal to the conscience of all both leaders and followers to think of humanity in what ever they do. Only when we consider the goodness of our neighbours while pursuing our own ends shall there be peace, unity and progress in our land. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. #Agbo Jeremiah Seraph. |
Atiku is not going to be President because he didn't fight for their independent |
Nchenches:You are right! And it does appear that Obasanjo who signed this agreement knows the implication hence the more reason why he refused Atiku the opportunity of succeeding him. When he eventually endorsed him, he (Obasanjo) knows that Atiku will not win Buhari. Just to placate the people (minorities) the likes of Ahmed Lawan, Omo Agege.....were made Senate president and deputy giving them the false impression that they are well represented and that they can aspire to any position in the land. F.G may be banking on them to persuade their people to remain in Nigeria when it's obvious that they are being controlled by the powers that be. From the looks of things, Nigeria government will be in a dilemma. 2023 is going to be a bumpy ride!! Its either electing an Igbo man as President, Granting them the rights to referendum to decide their fate or restructure . However, the way forward still Restructuring.... |
If this news happens to be real, Nigeria would have been described like the proverbial Ostrich that buried its head in the sands while the legs are out. Nigeria does not have Referendum clause in her constitution! My questions are, 1. If the people of these LGAs refused to be part of the new Nation, will Nigeria expel them by force? 2. Can Nigeria, a " borrow borrow " Country stands the fire power of UN backed State? 3. Will National Assembly in Nigeria dominated by the North eventually make room for the insert of Referendum and sessions clauses in our Constitution knowing fully well that Biafra agitation will be intensified? 4. Will F.G Led by a General, Mohammedu Buhari; honour this agreement without fighting to defend the country (Nigeria) which he swore to protect from external aggression? 5. If the people decides to join "Amberzonia" in order to have a new leave of life, will Nigeria force them to stay just like it did to the South East in 6 July 1967 – 15 January 1970? Many other questions to be asked...... However, it does appear that this might be the beginning of an end. Let's keep fingers crossed. |
When I got registered, I was told that SMS will be sent to notify me. Six (6) years down the line am yet to get my card. I paid them a visit in 2016 and 2017, was told the card is not yet ready. Recently I heard that one must renew the card with 5k since then I gave up on its collection. |
Nice job and thanks op |
I see kano becoming champion again! Ganduje is really a good coach!! |
If this piece of info turns out true, then I must respect IPOB. |
In as much as we understood that the boy is still a teenager, the fact that he might be the only surviving Male in the family should be the reason why he has to marry early. I believe the family will guide the couple and support them enough while facing the challenges of building and rebuilding their lineage. |
As if kano is the one feeding the whole continent! |
Where has he been doing the jobs being advertised on television because all I can see is dilapidated roads...... |
This is irritating to say the least! |
I just pray and hope that the common man in Nigeria will not contact this disease. I can't imagine the masses having this virus coupled with hunger..... Oh God save humanity! |
Indeed this write up makes a lot of sense. No wonder the present crops of leaders in Nigeria today just after the cake. No leader in the past whom we can actually State that he's corrupt free. |
It's gonna end finally only God can say when! Life will continue but not like our previous life because some tempered has been made in the spirit |
How nice! How I wish that corruption trials will also get speedy attention and conviction in like manner. |
If this story can be real, how comes it didn't spread to the whole of China before getting to other parts of the world? Anyways, we will survive trust on God!! |
Lets hope and pray that the measures will curtail this dreaded virus that ravaging the globe. As for you mr president, this is the best opportunity you have to revamp the health sector and other sectors of the economy through the inflammation of the budget at 100%. |
How nice |
What a trying time for the world. However, we shall see the end of #COVID 19 |
Interesting If they can travel to white man's land to enjoy the good things there at the detriment of common man. I think its time for them also to enjoy the ugly side of what is in the white man's land. |
