that's very incorrect. semedo started this season as a beast until EV started benching him indiscriminately in the name of squad rotation. maybe as a midfielder yes but as a right back he has nothing to learn from roberto. there is just something between semedo and EV.

Like I have said before and somebody has already reiterated, I think E.V wants Semedo to unlearn some conventional Right back style of play and fully incorporate the Barca way of playing as a right back.
The player with the highest assist to messi is dani alves, not xavi, not Iniesta. This season we have already seen alba contribute a large chunk of assist to messi. Most of these assists are not your regular side backs cross and nod, they are in form of cut backs, through passes and one-two. That is to say, as a right back or left back in the Barca system, your passing range and precision is probably the most important quality. Roberto naturally being a midfielder will edge out most RBs in this system.

Neymar is definitely signing for Madrid. The earlier Barca fans come to terms with that fact, the better for everybody. That was how some fans were doubting the authenticity of the psg rumors even in August.

Ronaldo + 100mil for Neymar is not a bad deal. Perez doesn't give a Bleep who's Ox is gored, he's a business man and would easily swoop in when he sees a good business investment. Ronaldo has passed his peak. In Neymar, they'd have someone capable of playing top flight football for the next 7years.

The argument has always been that La liga is a two horse race and is not competitive enough, that one team cannot be bossing the epl the way Barca and Madrid have been bossing La liga.

We tried to educate them. We told them that the epl seems to be competitive because almost every club at the first half of the table are operating on the same average technical level. The level of all speed no brain, the level of jam body and one corner dance, we told them that if and when a technical coach comes to the league, and put together a group of technical players with half the techniques of players like Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, iniesta, they would take the league by storm.

They argued. They said guardiola would be exposed like the fraud he is, called him 'fraudiola'. They said Messi would be unable to play in a cold rainy night at stoke lol.

Today we see guardiola with a team not 70% as good as the Barca invisibles, already exceeding the bar he set at Barca. Makes you wonder what the guardiola Barcelona would have done in the epl.
