Politics › Re: Why Nigerians Ridicule Nigeria by sessydoo(m): 4:09pm On Aug 15, 2012
My heart bleeds for a nation so much blessed with human and natural resources but cursed with bad leadership. Successive govts have plundered and looted our collective resources for their personal aggradisement and for their unborn generation to squander and waste. Why should i be proud of a country that has killed my friends, my family and neighbours on those death traps we call roads due to their yrs of negligence? or a family member dat had died in those dilapitated and ill-equipped shanties we call hospitals? Why cant we have unemployment benefit in Nig....? bc they see it as a luxury. The masses should be kept in bondage and perpetual poverty, in that way we can control and manipulate them for our selfish gain. The crimes of these rogues we call leaders are many and time is ticking.....God will surely raise a generation of people that would find their voice against the crime n injustice in the land. We are almost there by his grace

Woww it baffles me tht people hav short memory. Power generation is a factor of so many attributes, im very sure we are able to attain this level of electr generation due to rise in water level occassioned by the raining season. At evry point in time in a year, we seem to have a relatively stable power supply but im very sure this is not sustainble esp as we move towards the dry season. Govt shld evolve strategies to make this level of power generation sustainable. no be tday we don dey hear this kind news but in no distance time, the reverse is the case.

I agree wt u all that this is evil n wickedness of the highest order. People like this are not fit to live among us, they should hav their brains examined and probably quaratined for the rest of their life to forestall a future re-occurence. But my fellow good citizens of Naija, beyond our usual sympathetic message n comments, what are we doing to make this world a better place? we cant leave everythin to Govt u know? if u were to be this woman's naighbour, what would u have done? wait until this boy dies or make a personal effort to reach the police? Even if you cant call d police, there are centres that handle abuse of human rights/children in nig, we can call such people and report the case even without letting the abusers know. This is one of such centres below, im very sure we will hav many of such centres evrywhere in naija, we can just try n google it, and also there are human rights lawyers that can assist people tht are vulnerable to abuse.. tanx all

Dis Guy: Go and find out? why dont you want to tell us?

ARe the other Directors not in court as we speak?

The banking sector was buzzing with recruitment fairs, doesnt make it the highest employer of labour by any stretch of imagination, some banks dont have upto 6000 workers, even Banking sector in US is also a shadow of itself in terms of recruitment, but thanks to their govt they are on some defined path of recovery
Its not appropriate to say certain thins on this forum. when i said other Directors, im not referring to those in court, im talking abt other MDs that stole more than those under trial but bc of their relationship wt sanusi n political connection, they are tagged sacred cows. Bros honestly i weep for this nation. politics in naija banks stinks to d highest heaven. may God help us sha

If any kobo is recorvered from dat man, it should belong to AMCON, not access, cos our tax was used to buy the toxic credits of d bank ( as claimed by mallam), befor he sold to Aig @ a rediculous price.
The MD appointed by mallam was accused of... Where is he today? Has he not travelled to d UK after dat? So why is access not sueing him in d UK?
What about all the people oweing intercontinental then? Why are dey not paying back with their properties?Aig inclusive, saraki too. Why is saraki's loan written-off?
Why is intercontinental sold for that amount? To her debtor. We all knw there are better bids.

Dis Guy: WHAT IS THIS PERSONAL BEEF SANUSI HAS WITH AKINGBOLA? PEOPLE HAVE BEEN SAYING he has beef with this intercontinental dude since he was at FBN, what exactly is it? did he sack sanusi, did he steal his wife? did he humiliate him in public/privayte, this incomplete rumuor

he has beef with everyone it would seem? what exactly is the beef ?

When the CBN listed the names of those owing the banks and cruising about with yachts and private jets, does he have beef with them too
AMCON is working with CBN and ministry of finance, CBN making an obvious comment on how the money will be recovered doesnt sound like anything out of order, SELL his pants too if you can, atleast taxpayers will be able to get more juice from access bank now

Hi, you also sound like u know much about the banking industry, like i said this forum is not appropriate for discussing dat beef tin. however u can ask one or two questns from some bankers dat re relatively high in rank or middle mgt. that notwithstanding nobody is saying they shld not prosecute erastus bc hes a thief and a disgrace to d banking industry but SLS is not better, he is worse off and his judgement day is just by d corner
nah yoruba justice be that.
O.D.B it seems u dont get what some ppl re trying to say here. Nobody is saying they shld take it easy with Erastus, as a matter of fact he shld be made to refund evry kobo he has stolen n probably jailed but the questn is; SLS is worse off, a rogue, a cameleon, who took over these perceived weak banks and sold them to his political God fathers at a ridiculous price. Not onnly that hes full of selective victimisation or else why is it that some other thieving MDs like Erastus n Cecilia are been allowed to walk about freelyhuh SLS also wrote off well collaterized bank loans belonging to his God fathers and returned the landed properties to them. that is my source of concern and worry. why is SLS forming an angel when hes a devil incarnate? His policies and reforms are counter-productive. are you also aware that Acces bank was owing intercont close to 20bil by the time access bank bought ibplc for a meagre 50bil? yu see he that comes to equity should come with a clean hand. i wuld have preffered a situation where SLS makes the cleansing in bbanking industry a wholistic one without leaving some sacred cows and playing d script of godfatherism. maybe if he had done dat, he would earn some respect from ppl like me. i dnt need to be a yoruba, or ibo or hausa to know d truth and crticise objectively

mikeapollo: Sanusi does not have any personal beef with anybody. What he said is based on the principle of recovery stolent funds...if you dont have the cash, your assets will be liquidated to pay what you stole. That is a global practice.
In any case, Cecilia Ibru's properties in Nigeria and abroad suffered the same fate! Was Sanusi also having a personal beef with her?

A crook uses his stolen money to create some conspiracy theory in the media inorder to shield him from prosecution and some people are already deceived!

It baffles me how some Nigerians think! People that went to school still talking like illiterates!
Hey bro, it is quite obvious you dont know much abt Politics in Nig banks. SLS also has personal issue with Cecilia but this forum is not d appropriate place to discuss it. Im not saying these thieving MD shld not refund whatever they stole oo but SLS is not better. He is worse off, a cameleon, selling off those banks at a ridiculous price to his political Godfathers n friends, and wrting off facilties that were well secured just bc they were taken by his Godfathers (if you understand those banking terms). cheiii i weep for this nation

Tony Spike: I'm beginning to conclude that CBN governor has personal beef with Erastus Akingbola. I hope I an very wrong about this though...
U re very correct sir. Right from the days of Sanusi as FBN MD. Go and find out. the Mallam has personal beef for Erastus or else why has he not prosecuted other bank MD thieves? SLS is full of persona vendetta and selective victimisation making the industry that used to be the highest employer of labour to become a shadow of itself. A more intelligent person would do what SLS did (in a diff way) without casuing a systemic failure and panic in that industry. His own time is coming, when a King that knows NOT Pharao would reign and bring this Boko haram CBN Gov to judgement. he sold all the perceived weak banks to his cronies and political Godfathers at 1 kobo (God is watching ooo). pls Dont get me wrong oo, im not in support of what Erastus did, infact hes a disgrace to the banking institution BUT SLS and Co (Saraki, Aig, Layi Alabi etc) are worse off. SLS has killed the banking industry..its very sad and appalling. My heart bleeds for a nation so blessed with natural n human resources but cursed with thieves n rogues in Govt....when Sanusi finishes playing his Godfathers' scripts, he should tell us o. and to think dat some gullible consider this rogue called SLS as a saint...mtchewwwww. fresh air abegiiiiiii. Who are the members of her Coordinating team? Rogues and thieves, pls check it up. How has NOI policy affected the masses? more hardship, approving all the lootings, fraudulent buy over of banks in collaboration wt SLS, no food, no roads, no jobs, no light, no security and the joker wanted to lead world bank...on which credential if i may askhuh. Honestly this country is a big joke and i fear for the unborn generation. Christianity Etc › Senate Passes Obamahealth Bill, Chip To Be Implanted On D Arm Or Forehead; 666? by sessydoo(op): 9:07pm On Jul 30, 2012
I got this from a contact. US Senate has passed the 'Obama
Health Care' bill into law& the
implementation would commence
on 23/03/ 2013.This bill would
require all Americans to be
implanted with a Radio Frequency
Identification (RFID) chip in order
to access medical care. The device
will be implanted on the forehead
or on the arm

This is to fulfil the prophesy in the Book of Revelation 13:15-18
concerning the MARK OF THE
BEAST! Are you still in doubt
concerning the ENDTIME?
GET READY! The rapture is near

Questions
1) Why is the chip being
implanted exactly where the Bible
says it would be. Why on the hand
and forehead. Why not anywhere
else?
(2) Why is it being connected to
your bank account? Remember the Bible says you won't be able to buy or sell without the mark. And guess what ! The chip is connected to your financial details
Ref: check this on youtube. you can also google other relevant stories on this. The end is nearer than we can ever imagine. May his grace see us through

Hope this makes it to the front page for all to see how corrupt our politicians are. May God help this Country.

Richard Branson the chairman of Virgin Atlantic alluded to a number of issue bordering on doing business in Nigeria:

"...we have virgin's ill-fated footsteps by setting up a new airline in Africa in conjunction with Nigerian government...the details of the doomed attempts to crack the Nigerian market in the 2000s is better imagined...we put ...together a very good airline-the first airline in West Africa that was ever IOSA/IATA operational safety audit accredited but unfortunately it got tied down to the politics of the country...we led the airlines for 11 years...we fought daily battle against government agents who wanted to daily make fortune from us, politicians who saw the government 49% as a meal to seek for all kinds of favour...watchdogs(regulatory body) that didn't know what to do and persistently asking for bribes at any point...Nigeria people are generally nice but the politicians are very insane...that may be irony because the people make up the politicians...but those politicians are selfish...we did make N3billion for the federal government of Nigeria during the joint venture...realising that the government didn't bring nothing to the table/partnership except dubious debts by the previous carrier, Nigeria Airways...The joint venture should have been the biggest African carrier by now if the partnership was allowed to grow, but the politicians KILLED it...Nigeria is a country we SHALL NEVER consider to doing business again..''.

onandon: What is going on here ? Why is Bakare getting a lot of stick ? Is he lying ? I think majority of the people affected by the hardship in Nigeria are busy looking for their daily bread this morning while representatives of GEJ, NOI, SLS, TOMPOLO, OTEH, OBJ, GRAND PA FIX IT, DOKUBO, (SO CALLED) ELDERS , PDP CAUCUS AND OTHER POLITICALLY FAVORED THIEVING SCUMS are here saying Bakare should shut up. Why couldn't any of you or your fathers come out in public to tell us to shut up when we were protesting January? You make those deluded pastors your role models because they tell you the sweet things you want to hear like "it is well"(when everything really isn't) "Your year of miracle" (suffering but smiling in faith ) . How many battles in the Bible were spiritual ? Did the Israelites just camp in the wilderness praying for miracles like Nigerians do? , my Bible tells me "faith without work is dead" . Is every problem in Nigeria spiritual? Is Nepa's problem spiritual? Is it spirits that sabotage our oil? Are Ibori, Tinubu, Bode George, IBB,
Tafa Balogun, OBJ, PDP, Other hypocrite Political parties spirits ? I don't believe in any so called man of God as long as he is born of a woman like my mum but Bakare should be commended for having the guts to face the modern day "Pharaohs".
Chei u spoke my mind. God bless u real good. the questn i always ask ppl is this, is evrythin well with this country? why is it that ppl don want us to tell thieve Jonathan and his fellow armed robbers in govt to resign? this man, bakare has been speaking against successive govts that hav been stealing our common wealth since the time immemorial. the guy is comfortable and can afford good things of life but chose to stand on d side of d masses and abhor corruption. instead for ppl to be praying for Gods divine protection on him for having d gut to stand up against the oppression n corruption in the land at the expense of his life, some GEJ agents are here spewing rubbish. they hav tried their best to bribe him, bt no way. if we hav more of bakares in nig, the country wuld hav been transformed by now. May God help us ooooo.

Nigeria is a den of thieves, no one is a saint here the legislooters, the Bank chiefs (those found guilty and those allowed to walk about freely with their loots bc of Godfatherism and Sanuni's shield), Sanusi himself dat sold away big banks to his cronies at take away price, NDIC and AMCON. Honestly this country is a big joke and i laugh when some ignoramous think some of these rogues in power are "cleansing" the financial industry. As a matter of fact that industry is almost dead now as Bankers are losing their jobs on daily basis.
And by the way who is interested in collecting national awards from thieves in power? until people are able to mimick men of integrity like Chinua Achebe, who called d bluff of fed govt on national award? National award my foot! when masses are hungry, roads are bad, no job, no security, no light. No nothing!!!! and people are celebrating national award. abegiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!
