Christianity EtcRe: Why Is God Going To Destroy HIS ENEMIES In Hellfire?(photo) by Setaje(f): 10:19am On Sep 20, 2015
sukkot:
1- love is not an emotion as you have been made to believe. it is an action. love means obeying Gods commandments. so loving your enemies means try to get them to obey Gods commandments. now if they choose not to obey Gods commandments after he has sent many people to them then he counts these as his enemies. keep in mind a man not under the guidance of God will be a thief, a 419, cheater, etc etc so these people need destruction anyway. JOHN 14 VS 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

2 Satan works for God so any evil thing that happens is Gods will. amos 3 vs 6 shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?

3-who is responsible for sin existing in the world ? God is. isaiah 45 vs 7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things. HOWEVER YOU HAVE FREE-WILL TO SHUN EVIL. IT IS A CHOICE GOD HAS CREATED. PICK SIN OR PICK GOOD

4- sun day as presented is an allegorical symbolic presentation. the sun represents wisdom knowledge and understanding and the moon represents darkness. so being born on a SUN DAY means the child is full of wisdom and knowledge and understanding. it is not a literal sunday

5-those who will make it to the kingdom of heaven would have gone through so much suffering and pain and persecution from their family because when you are on this journey your family will turn against you. God said i have come to seperate mother and father, sons and daughters etc. so you will be hated by your family if you have the holy spirit in you and you will be purified in affliction and be hardened emotionally that when it comes to time to see your family catching hellfire you will be happy to see it. it will be a joy to see them in pain after all the pain they put you through.

6- Jew is an adaption of the word Yehudah or Yahawadah or judah. Gentile just means anyone who is born outside the circle of sanctity. someone who is profane. someone without the guidance of God
Even though we don't chat as often as we used to. I cannot forget the great impact u have in my life. So much knowledge and understanding.
Christianity EtcRe: Why Is God Going To Destroy HIS ENEMIES In Hellfire?(photo) by Setaje(f): 9:27am On Sep 20, 2015
Well the problem most of you have is that you read the bible like a story book. Everything written in that bible is allegorical. Every verse, every part has deep meanings. If u have doubts, u cannot understand God nor the bible. The bible itself is beyond logic. U think the serpent in the bible is a snake. Or that Adam and Eve are one person. The bible is complete. You need the holy spirit to help u understand beyond just reading it like tales of the past!

Secondly, when I feel down I sometimes doubt the existence of God and why he should allow certain things happen sef. Suddenly I remember several unexplained things that have happened in my life and the life of my family members beyond human comprehension. No science or logic can explain it. It was beyond luck. When I remember this things then I no God is real. God is true and God can never fail. Maybe a lot of u doubting thomases have not experienced the wonders of God. But I rather believe in a God and die wiv that believe. It won't hurt anybody than not believing in anything and die and actually see "everything ". Cus in death, everything becomes clear!

Thanks bro benodic for providing an answer to my question to Setaje.

To add to that :
Most of the issues that we are currently struggling with, are due to the "strong" karmic ties & bonds we've made with others, in the past, as well as our "postulates" which have now "concretized" or "solidified".
Things move in cycles. When a concretized cycle of lifetime is not completed, & an individual willfully, abruptly, leaves the scene, he or she must necessarily come back to complete it, whether he/she will have to stay for only a day, or month, or year, or more.
There may be powerful, hidden karmic ties & bonds at work, influencing & holding the " concretized cycle " in place, such that a prayer "thought form" of most of us might not be powerful enough to influence it. For those few trained ones who can influence it, they also have the ability to perceive the "greater plan" & the implication their action will have on others whose lives are intricately woven into theirs, so they just allow the cycle to complete itself.
Many who try to uplift the lives of unconsenting people suffer this fate.

Sorry I wasn't able to reply you. This is what I meant by reincarnation but someone thought I was talking gibberish. Hence I lost interest on the thread. This to me is the only situation that explains why certain things happen to certain people. But I also believe in God's intervention which can actually change your karmic law.

Life is a gamble. One of these two things will happen. You might end up loving him or u might not love him and end up cheating on him.

As for me, I cannot marry someone I don't love. There has to be a connection.

Very good post. Honestly, the way this employed youths behave stinks! It's not just them but people in general. Once they get what they want, they automatically forget what they went through before getting it. Especially job issue. They are not serious and not loyal hence their bosses treat them anyhow. Some would even work secretly for their rival company. Some would be doing private practise by handling company customers on their own. Some hr people see themselves as gods, talk to you anyhow because u came for interview forgetting that they were once in that same position at the mercy of the interviewer. bankers nko! Especially customer care and those at the counter! That's another story for another day! People just don't take their work seriously. What would make civil servants come to work by 10am? and yet this same people will come out to say our leaders are corrupt, the country is bad. Etc!

FamilyRe: I'm Having Doubts About Getting Married Next Month by Setaje(f): 11:45pm On Sep 13, 2015
Hmmmn. Life is a gamble. For all we know this new guy might actually be the right man for u or u might just be lusting after something new. I must say though, anything that will make u not want to get married to someone u have planned to marry needs urgent attention. There are just two things to it, remove sentiments. It's either lust or something much more deeper you see in this new guy that your husband to be can't give u. U need to really tackle it o or else u would keep looking for this new guy even after you marry.

I hear of such cases a lot. Mostly for guys. They can't live their fiancee because they have stayed too long together meanwhile they seem to have just met their soul mate, but more often than not they end up cheating on their spouse after marriage wiv this new woman cus that feeling just don't go away. It doesn't. !

Ooh dear!! That's a blasphemy against John the baptist (behaded), Stephen (stoned to death), Peter (crucified upside down), Pastor Bimbo (plane crash), Rev Myles Munroe (plane crash) to mention but a few.

Are you trying to say these men of God and apostles lacked what a true Christian needs?
Like I earlier wrote. I might be wrong but I also believe in the principle of reincarnation, that aside. I wasn't there wiv them till the very end. So I don't no what would have allowed those people die a brutal death. Even jesus, died a brutal death. But I believe disobedience play a major role in a lot of people's lives. My point is just obey God and let his will be done.
Christianity EtcRe: Why Do People Still Die Prematurely After Praying To God Against Untimely Death by Setaje(f): 8:54pm On Sep 13, 2015
Hmmmmn. People should not judge. The man u think is good yet died, u do not no his last days wiv God. You don't even no what he does when he is alone. All I know is if u work wiv God in all sincerity and faithfulness. No harm shall come your way. I don't no how u guys can sit down here and limit God. U think it's by your understanding. What I know is, I might be wrong but I feel that the death of any innocent person is mostly due to "aigboran" disobedience. This is me judging but that is truly what I feel. No man that works wiv God in truth and in spirit will die an untimely death because God will guide you in every step of the way. He would tell you where to go and what to do. He will never live your side. So many people have escaped death by obeying that voice. How can u think God does not care about your life. God cares about what you eat sef. The most minute details he cares.

It is well!.

It is not adviseable for both of them to be bankers and get married. It is not. One of u had better live the banking job or d woman should save up a lot so she can be on her own. Anybody building a future on a bank job is on a long thing. The moment u get a job in the bank start preparing for your retirement. It's very important. God forbid both of u get sacked at the same time.

Omawumi is an Itsekiri lady like you, yet she keeps marketing Itsekiri, she got the whole Nigeria feeling the Itsekiri magnificent culture in her music video " Megbele".

You are not better than her, the difference is that she sees the good in her ethnic group and got the rest of Nigeria and Africa dancing to all those good.

But you, you are filled with negativity and self loathe, you need to visit your hometown more, and explore the place for yourself , at this your age, you should have outgrown the " my Mama say, my papa say" mantra, you need to be finding things out yourself and not rely in stories passed down to you by your parents.

There is goodness in all groups, as well as negatives, but as members of such groups, it's our civic duty to promote the goodness of our group before the world.
Oga na me no where shoe dey pinsh me. No carry another load for your back. You don't no me and don't know my story. I would advise u to mind your business and live me wiv my hatred. Na because I dey alive dey type for Nairaland, na yin u see me dey advise. Abeg just live story.

I personally think @Pazienza has trashed this issue better than I can say. This is one of the reason why I keep saying that the Igbos, Yorubas and Hausas are more united than any other tribe in Nigeria. How often do you see Enugu Igbos talking trash about Imo Igbos online? Or even a Yoruba talking bad about their Yoruba kingdom online? Yet, here you are disgracing the Itsekiris all because you come from such a family that exhibit what you posted. Personally, I think its rather a family issue on your part and not a general analysis of the Ijaws or Itsekiris as a tribe. Also, its sad you are addressing Itsekiri women as "water people", I understand that they live in riverine areas but to the ordinary Nigerian it means being possessed. As Pazienza rightly said, your Mom "Yorubanized" to the extent you can't even spell your tribe correctly. It's Itsekiri not Itshekiri (Isekiri and Itshekiri are variants). Have a nice day!
You and pazienza are very sick to bring my mum into this. How can my mum yoruba nise me. Am I a kid. You people are lazy and highly diabolical. Deal wiv it!
CultureRe: Some Similarities Between Ijaw , Urhobo And Itsekiri by Setaje(f): 8:49am On Sep 06, 2015
pazienza:
I am not an Itsekiri, but from your post, I can deduce that your dad didn't do well in teaching you about your people rich heritage, your mum seized the opportunity and "Yorubanized" you.

Let me tell you, it is wrong for a man or a woman to point at his father's house with left fingers like you just did.

Believe it or not, our fates somehow are usually tied to that of our own people, every group have bad sides, but it's the duty of members of such groups to package the group better and show the world more of their good parts, while they secretly work on the bad parts.

You disappointed and dishonored your ancestors with this your post.
Dishonoured which dirty and useless ancestors. Ancestors that did not think of their great grandchildren. You are sick to think my dad did not do a good job. Their people are lazy. Terribly lazy. U people don't like hearing the truth. I talk from great experience wiv them. My fate and that of my family will never be tied to a backward people wiv a backward tradition. God forbid. I have never denied the fact that I am itshekiri but I will do anything to erase such ties wiv them. If u don't like it go and report me to egbesu or whatever is d name of your water goddess.
CultureRe: Some Similarities Between Ijaw , Urhobo And Itsekiri by Setaje(f): 10:21pm On Sep 05, 2015
Even my dad doesn't want me to marry from his people. Na God help my papa say in no remain for village. They are lazy like hell. The day my mum who is yoruba followed my dad to delta. She laugh taya. Na women dey go farm, ride bicycle to buy food stuffs while d men sit at home and lord over the family and drink ogogoro. They marry more than one wife. All d ijaw men I know wey dey lagos married more than one wife and have different concubines. They have this sense of entitlement. This is what is affecting them till today cus they believe since the oil is in their backyard, they should be spoon fed. Op if this people go to school like u claim. Oil companies will be employing them more than other ethnic groups in their states. I no this people well and no matter how you sugar coat it, they are damn lazy and aggressive. I can't imagine igbos or yorubas having that much oil in their backyard. The world for hear am.

Spiritual wise. That's another story entirely. Their water gods are very powerful and it lingers from generation to generation. Na serious prayers dey break the yoke. According to my dad, he witnessed it. In those days, people could get so angry and go and stay inside the water for hours wivout coming out. They are water people especially their women. By the way, I am itshekiri.

Kachikwu am sorry. That refinery will be shut down again. It will not last. Penny wise pound foolish. Because of years of decay in the refinery, it will do them good to invite the people that built the refinery. No be today local people dey do tam and they never get the work done cus of government involvement. Government awards contracts to people who import equipments used in the refinery who are mostly hausas. Go to nnpc warehouse and see outdated equipment and technology brought in by government contractors. They just do it to last for sometimes and then it shuts down prematurely. If u want something done, do it the right way. Who can know the technology more than the people that built it. Hmmmmn
Jobs/VacanciesRe: International Jobs: Nigerians Are Turned Down by Setaje(f): 12:34pm On Sep 03, 2015
This thing is a big issue. Especially in the oil and gas sector. I know of many Nigerians working as expatriates because of the pay.
Meanwhile nigerians doing the same job are payed half of what expatriates make. It is very wrong. It's not fair. As an expatriate, they get so many bonuses. They get housing allowance, car allowance etc. My bossom friend is working as an expatriate in porthacourt cus she got married to a white man and she read chemical engineering, She earns thousands of dollars per month. If u see her official quarters and car. Hmmmmn. Meanwhile when she was doing her professional courses and working in France. She had no preference, infact they treated her like a french citizen wiv no extra bonus. I think the government needs to look into this. For our own graduates to be treated better. The difference between an expatriate and an indigene doing the same job is to wide.
