I am already getting private mails from people telling me that it is true. do you think people that know someone will come out and talk. everybody is keeping quiet. I have nothing to loose than to show the rot of the stupid system. I cannot wait for the final list to come out. I am eager. in fact I don't want to be a hypocrite. the reason why I am talking is because my friend could not put in good word for me to her uncle minister. if to say my name enter list I go lock up they laugh una. |

csimms7: My dear, I wasn't going to respond to her again. During NDDC scholarship wahala in 2014, I encountered a lot of her type, one even use english that bust my head, said his person was in the "top echelon". When God favoured us, I start to find oga wey get person for "top echelon", my dear I no see. They only have mouth.
I just don't understand how people stay and assume rubbish... I'll say this is the first federal govt job I've applied for, but how the hell do people know how it's shared amongst senators and what have you. Believe you me, all that thing is RUBBISH!!!
That's how people said there was wayo in NDDC scholarship, I can authoritatively say that for the one I did, I repeat, the one I applied for and got, more than 70% got the scholarship on merit.
That said, of course, I believe there will be slots allocated to people but I don't believe it will be that overwhelming.
Lastly, I have only used my experience with NDDC to just encourage us all and make us know that we should still keep faith, a lot of us will get it on merit, and even if we don't, it's an experience, although it might be frustrating, it's an experience and life will still go on.
Cheers and goodluck to us all. . you compare nddc and frrc to DPR or nnpc. hahhahahahahha. the end shall tell! |

Those who are really connected do not come here to brag about it.
I dare you to show us the list as an evidence.
This is how some no-joy guys who were not shortlisted for aptitude test fabricated a list supposedly from the chief whip and when their lies could not sell, they bowed out in shame.

EngrVin: This might be the last time I will post on this thread. Some are saying those called are on merit, I laugh. Some blame those that wrote on the first day and distributed questions. I wrote on the fourth day been Thursday and I will say categorically that I benefitted from the hints shared here.
I have the said GMAT 2012 edition, a copy I bought years back while preparing for NNPC 2014 exams. I shared pictures of such to over 20candidates via WhatsApp yet only one of them was called for interview, when they all testified they did well in the test.
My test was 3english section and two maths section, which I was very familiar with the questions and answers for the English section. I am very good in maths and as such, DAT section was a bonus. After d test, I went back to d GMAT and calculated my expected score to be 80%+.... Yet my portal is closed. And someone says its on merit I weep for Nigeria.
A country were the elites hustle the juicy jobs for their kids and MSc holders weep for not getting the poverty suppression program (Npower) . NNPC is planning for recruitment first quarter of next year, and the slots are already been shared. Take it or leave it. Thank God I have AUST Abuja to keep me busy, while I figure out how to leave this country for good. All these are reasons Nigerians in diaspora will never come back...
Those called for the interview, if u know u don't have any top notch. Pray very well... That's my advice for all.
I wish all Nigerians success in our various career pursuit, and pray we all take that decision to speak out always, and let our voice count. Change begins with You and I.
Cheers it is easier for a camel to pass through the needles eye than to get a job at DPR or nnpc this is the list, presidential list, VP, and speaker senate and house of rep top priority. next is minister of state of petroleum (kachukwu), then senators and house of rep members . then other ministers, governors, and lastly major traditional rulers and off course the head of DPR. the remaining slots are for the exceptionally brilliant ones. in all agencies they live slots for the brilliant ones. its untouchable that is how it has always been. if your name does not fall under this people. hmmmmmn. now the issue is not your name falling under them but the fact that the slots are not always enough for them CUs there are too many people banking on them. so it is whoever is top priority for them that they help. usually they get 3 to 5 slots each with the exception of the President , VP and speakers who can get as much as 10 to 15 slots. another problem is quota system. if you are from delta state I'm so sorry for you. kachukwu and the governor plus olu of warri has taken most of the slots. if not all. only God can help you. not to talk of the senators and house of rep members from delta. all this things count a lot. hence you see some states having more candidates. Lagos state also has a prominent king, a minister , a governor who have their own list. so if you are from Lagos its a big problem too. that is why the common man cannot get jobs in this places. |

musicwriter: .
The world health organization has nothing to do with what I said. What I was dealing with is historical countdown of diseases and how the body develops immunity against them..
I said "The HIV/AIDS virus is no longer a serious threat as it used to be. The body has found a natural way to heal itself of such situation. That's exactly what the body was designed to do.
There was a time MALARIA was killing people and scared the world. There was a time SMALLPOX was a global threat. There was a time POLIO was a global threat. e. t. c.
Eventually, the human body developed immunity against these diseases rendering them powerless, and HIV/AIDS is not an exception".
We are not the only living organism on planet earth. We live with elegants, dogs, goats, chickens, snakes, antelopes, ants, fishes, e.t.c. These animals also regularly do have their own epidemic and their body do eventually figure out how to defeat the disease. Or how do you think animals have survived in the wild for millions of years? Do you think animals have drugs that we humans don't have?
When I was growing up in the village we had lots of chickens and at a time there was this epidemic that came from nowhere and killed over 200 chickens leaving just 5. These 5 survived because their body figured out how to defeat the disease- their body developed immunity against the disease. That's exactly what the body of both animals and man are designed to do. After 2 years, the remaining 5 chickens later re-populated the poultry and there were over 250 chickens.
This also happens in the wild. It happens to us humans too.
I understand how white people works; especially in relation to their former colonies. What they do is scare poor countries to death in order to sell them drugs. When they eventually come up with the drug, it's we poor countries that would spend Billions of dollars stockpiling same whether it works or not, because according to you they're the ones ordained to "establish" and un-establish what our own facts should be. And there's no end in sight. google seroreversion. it's already happening. many patients turn negative after few years of using arvs. some don't even use arvs. just use drugs that boost their immune system and somehow it fights the disease away from the body. the only thing white doctors say is that the initial HIV test was questionable. meaning the person was never hiv positive hence he can turn negative because they believe once one is positive, the person remains positive for life. but people from different parts of the world are having this positive to negative testimonies. they even have a forum where they discuss. some doctors say their immune system are strong enough to fight off the disease. what I believe though is that there is a cure for every sickness and as u said once they see that the disease is no more as strong as it used to. they would be forced to bring out the cure just as they did malaria and the rest and offcourse they will create another terrible disease. see how fast they were able to tame Ebola yet cancer, diabetes, HIV is giving them issues. there is no profit in curing diseases. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Atheists On Nairaland Plagiarize The Work Of Foreigners On Online Forums. by Setaje(f): 10:15am On Oct 14, 2017 |
THT80: Yesterday, I created a thread on the dilemma that atheists have to shoulder in answering questions pertaining to morality, and as a consequence of the likely outcomes of this dilemma, the potentially harmful effects it could have on the moral framework of society which is strongly tethered to religious values. As was expected, the thread was invaded by a slew of atheists whose sensitivities were hurt by the truth which I did my best to present in an articulate fashion, and they tried all they could to refute my arguments, but failed woefully.
As I tried my best to muster enough interest to continue engaging in what I felt was a diasapointing showcase, given that I was responding repeatedly to weak arguments and subsequent weaker arguments from over five different people, most of which were clutching at straws and conveniently dancing around every question I threw at them, I had the misfortune of reading the argument of a fellow who went by the username hopefulandlord; a username that I felt embodied and reflected his deepest wish. As I read his argument in response to mine, it struck me as a bit off. Not only was the phraseology and sentence structure different and more sophisticated than the one in his previous comments, the post was strewn with more logic and rationality than in all of the posts I had been laboriously trying to refute. I immediately realised that this wall of text couldn't have been written by hopefulLandlord. This was proven to be true after I accused him of plagiarising online posts only for him to implicitly deny, and moments later, be proven to be culpable of the act which he was denying.
Below is a link to the post he plagiarized and the comments that followed that led to his being caught.
https://www.nairaland.com/4113374/moral-dilemma-makes-atheism-unwise
After realizing how much of a waste of time it was for me to take the pain of replying to comments that were borrowed from smarter people, I abandoned the debate and channeled my time into something more productive.
Fast forward to this morning, I was exploring the threads on Islamic section and I came across a video by a supposed atheist who was trying to use the video as a point of emphasis to demonstrate the reason people leave Islam. After watching the video, I was genuinely interested in reading the opinions of people on the subject. I hadn't read more that five comments when I came across a comment from an atheist that went by the username donnffd. His comment bore a lot of resemblance to the one plagiarised by hopefulandlord as it bespoke of the intelligence and rationality of the writer, a quality that I have come to notice is nonexistent in most of the atheists that I encountered since joining this forum. So guided by curiousity, I copied a sentence from his post and uploaded it on the search box on google and clicked on the search icon. The search results were astonishing. Right on the top of the search results was a link to a website that had among it's posts, the exact replica of donnffd's comment. I mean verbatim. I was shocked. How could I have witnessed plagiarism of this sort twice in the space of 24 hours?
Below is the link to donnffd's post.
https://www.nairaland.com/3249077/why-people-leave-islam-spoken
Below is a link to the post he plagiarized.
https://www.thereligionofpeace.com/pages/quran/violence.aspx
My experience left me with certain opinions which I believe will be reinforced if I take the time to examine the posts of other atheists. It's quite appalling that people who pride themselves as the gate keepers of reason and rationality, display, demonstrably, the opposite. How unintelligent and shameless can you be to use the exact comments of foreigners to reply to a thread created in a forum designed by a citizen of your country and populated by denizens of your country? I mean these dudes weren't even smart enough to at least paraphrase the posts they plagiarized.
With a heavy heart I have to say that my beliefs and opinions are starting to gravitate towards stereotypical notions surrounding of the inferiority of black Africans relative to intelligence and creativity. If we borrowed the religion and cultures of other races and geographical groups, at the detriment of ours, must we also borrow their arguments verbatim? It's quite a shame that with all the access to knowledge and tools for self development that technology has provided us, presumably educated men can't formulate their ideas with their own words.
And what's more annoying is the arrogance and extremely outsized degree of self conceit these atheists exhibit. How can people who allude to being more intelligent and more rational than theists by reason of their unique critical thinking skills, not be able to express themselves with their own words and their own independent ideas? I can't overemphasize how much of a disappointment this is. I don't think people like this should be taken seriously by anyone. God bless you. |

Pangolo123: This phenomenon is very difficult to explain yet it's very real. My late step bruv was diagnosed of tuberculosis before his death, but his other half bruv later revealed to me it was spiritual. The guy told me my late step bruv met a lady who confided in him that herself and her family were from the water spirit world. He became paranoid and feared for his life which led him to avoid the mammy water lady. That was when he informed his other half bruv about the development, although the lady warned my late step bruv not to tell anyone, which I felt triggered the illness that led to his death. I vividly remembered before his death, l came back from school and found him on the floor rebuking mammy water spirits in Jesus' name. He was too weak due to the constant coughing but he tried to pray. I went into the bedroom baffled and scared a little bit, neither did I tell anyone what I saw on that day till date.
After his death and few months later, I went out on a particular day and on my way home later that day, I saw a glimpse of my late step bruv from a distance amongst the crowd. I shouted his name and he looked back and smiled. Immediately, I tried forcing my way through the mingling crowd but saw him no more. However, when his other half bruv revealed the real cause of his death to me, he made me promise I wouldn't tell my mom about the real circumstances that led to his death, and it's been in my heart ever since. your story reminds me of what my mum used to tel me a long time ago about some sicknesses and diseases as being unnatural. i used to think she was just making up stories till i heard first hand stories from a doctor and my owm personal experience which i will not like to divulge. To doctors and others, your brother had tuberculosis. but what happened was far from that. a family doctor of mine working in one of this military hospitals told me about how a woman who had HIV for 2 years and it suddenly disappeared . this is someone who was on arvs for those two years. he said they did all the test and even a particular test they do for babies that can detect the virus more than the conventional test. she came out negative. that's just one story out of many he told me first hand. you no when this evil people fight one spiritually. it manifest in the physical as a sickness or disease. for some, after series of test nothing comes out yet the person would be feeling sick and for some it can manifest as cancer , diabetes etc. that is not to say sicknesses and diseases does not occur naturally but for some its just a physical manifestation of a spiritual attack. no amount of English medicine will solve it. in all, people have to be prayerful. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Have You Received Any Accurate Prophecy Before? Please Share! by Setaje(f): 1:24pm On Oct 01, 2017*. Modified: 1:47pm On Oct 01, 2017 |
OK two years ago while I was still looking for a job. a prophecy came that I would get a good job with a car. this is me that had no job experience. the prophecy came early in the year and materialised October 2015. truthfully I applied as a p.a to one big organisation. I won't mention the name. I had even forgotten that I applied there. when I got there we were like 5 . I was the last to be interviewed by the MD and hr personnel. they all liked me and my personality and so when the interviewed ended I was hinted that this job comes with a car too and other allowances and if I don't no how to drive I should better learn. just when I was living, the MDS wife came into the office and asked if the interview had started to which everyone said yes and they just finished with me. the woman asked me to come back so she can do her own interview wiv me. immediately I felt so intimidated. the kind of questions she asked and she had this proud and haughty look. in fact she must have seen me as a second wife already. that instant I new that I wouldn't get the job. later I found out another very small girl was picked who just finished serving and was also giving the car based on the bosses wifes preference.
second prophecy was when my mum was given birth to. they told her mum while my mum was a baby that " a la yi gbede ni omo yin ma fe" meaning your child will marry a man that doesn't understand the language. just because my grandmother did not want it to happen. she never revealed it to my mum caused she was mortified. back then those village people only new Yoruba Hausa and Igbo. so her mum was so unhappy thinking her child will marry and Igbo man or an Hausa man. she thought not telling my mum will not make it happen. my mum married a delta man. when she brought him home and she told her mum that this man is not Yoruba. her mum started praising God. her mum and my dad were best of friends till she died.
though it might tarry, but it shall come to pass.
I pray that any evil manifestation militating against your true prophecies from seeing the light of day, May God who neither sleeps nor slumber arise to your defence .
lastly, for some reasons, nairaland seems to be at war with Christians and Christians seem to be at war with themselves. so many topics grace the front page that would make a christian with little faith abandon God. Be watchful. |

The HoR also got some slots which I am not exactly sure of. Among all the available slots, the single highest percentage went to the Minister of State Petroleum. These people have sent their preferred candidates already and are only waiting for a feedback. DPR got approval to recruit 700+ staff but will spread the recruitment over a period of time. The first batch is about 100. They have a policy to recruit a good percentage on merit, it is therefore advisable to quit all these rumour mongering and prepare well for the aptitude test. Also, the doctor said he prayed in tongues when he encountered the ghost, if truly you were baptised in the HolyGhost by evidence of speaking in the heavenly language, why not use that weapon when medicine was failing you. The HolyGhost was not just to aid you to speak in tongues only, He also teaches and show you what to do in this kind of situation. Lesson for another time doctor, a Christian doctor with the HolyGhost should truly be a solution sir You are very correct. It has become increasingly difficult for women to bear children this days. Hence the fear of committing abortion and later having infertility issues. When some women consider this things they just keep the babies especially when they are advanced in age i.e 28 and above. I think what we eat, the polluted air and so many chemicals we use on our bodies in disguise of make up and cream and off course drugs have some bad effects on our overall wellbeing. Many times this women weigh their options and decide to carry the baby instead of aborting. Anybody can be a baby mama cus this days women still menstruate even to the 9th month of pregnancy and they don't even know they are pregnant. Strange world or evolution.
