FamilyRe: Black Woman Discriminating Against Light Skinned Women by Setaje(f): 2:11pm On Apr 08, 2015
This thing is not a matter of preference. It has become a norm. Let me use my parents as example. They've been married more than 30 years. While they were dating. My mum and dad went to visit a friend of of my mum who happens to be from the part of the country who have many light skinned women. When her friend saw my dad she said " your husband na dark man. Why u go marry person wey black like u. U are meant to marry a fair man or someone a bit light so your children can look a bit brighter and finer. She said where she is from, it is not said outrightly but it's a salient criteria. The lighter a child or a person is, the finer the person becomes.

My mum was shocked but didn't take it serious. This was as far back as the 60's. I have been told by guys to bleach a bit so I can have options. Funny enough all my friends are light skinned. I fought wiv one who told me to bleach so men can be calling me the way they call her. I felt bad that day but not as bad as the day I went for a job interview at an advertising company and was told that the role I was applying for they needed a fair skinned person just to attract people. I have had many other experiences. Hardly do u meet any man who his ideal girl isn't fair, slim etc. They all seem to have the same ideal woman. But I have learnt long time ago to accept what I cannot change. There are still men who look beyond skin colour. Sadly they are in the minority.

Funny thing is many biracial couples I know and the ones I have come across. They seem to always date or marry the dark skinned woman and not the fair ones. Strange!!!!!

Hate and jealousy arises when aliens thrive in criminality and become financially suitable to the detriment of the indigenes.

This in turn will lead to a few things like outright war, economic blockage or paralysing alien activity, indigene clause, silent revolution etc. At the end things will never be the same again.

That's what I'm saying. If detribalised Yorubas consume the Oba's words.........shege go happen.
This is what they don't no. Yorubas to me are very deadly. They will fight u spiritually and gather together and fight u physically. I pray that the agberos do not listen to the oba. Before u count 1-10 a lot of properties would have been destroyed. That day we would see those three statues when you're coming into lagos "MOVE".......
Lagos has been very peaceful. Yorubas have been very peaceful. There is a limit to their peaceful nature. I do not want to see them change cus it won't favour anybody. Nevertheless, all this religious and traditional figures are not supposed to partake in politics. They are meant to be neutral. Anyway, I hope everything ends well!
PoliticsRe: Is This The Audio Of Oba Akiolu's 'Die In The Lagoon' Speech? by Setaje(f): 7:16pm On Apr 06, 2015
Whether this is wiped under the carpet or not. What this has done is that the insults on Internet has started bearing fruits in the open. Yet who is at the receiving end in all this?. You vote agbaje doesn't make him igbo and he will never align wiv igbos. Where does that leave us? Yorubas who have been very de tribalised are becoming very aware. Just before election something happened at ikotun and if not for timely intervention the Igbo woman would have been beaten and I never imagined that such will happen on a tribal bases.

Certain tribes are just meant to be neutral In the affairs of this country considering investments and movements out of their domain. Sadly if wahala starts even we naija deltans will be lumped up together. Yorubas friendship ends at ore.

PoliticsRe: Asari Dokubo Issues A New Threat by Setaje(f): 10:57pm On Apr 01, 2015
Why are they igbos happy like this. Been reading this thread from beginning to end and I haven't seen upto 10 people from the south south talk. It's d igbos that are gloating and instigating war just like how u people ran jonathan down. U people are the main reason jonathan failed. U made him see yorubas as the enemy. Now u are pushing south south to a war. When u and I no that most igbos will never fight another war. U just want to push them and watch them battle. What happens to all your investments outside the east. Or do u think having a house alone in the east is investment. Do u think if wahala start na only hausa and Yoruba go suffer. Infact hausas will enjoy the most cus those ones are used to suffering plus they have food. The goods u people import, shey na paper people go use buy am.

You people keep making the same mistake over and over again. You guys are just incorrigible. Asari dokubo can be bought. He has a price. Niger delta militants can be bought. When they are given juicy appointments and they begin to sing a new tune what happens to d igbos againhuh?? U people never learn. Do u people understand the word neutral........anyway. This na just Internet talk.

Buhari cannot win. Buhari cannot perform. If eventually he does. Mark my words there will be crisis between yoruba and hausa. U people always forget history. Buhari is not the problem. Tinubu is the problem. He cannot perform wiv Tinubu actively involved. Tinubu is a boss. Buhari is a boss. No one will bow down for the other! One has to die for the other to perform. Just watch!!!!!!!!!

Whether it holds no water or oil is not my concern. My concern is that he said he uses BBCmonth. I was using that too on my own phone and experienced it myself until I switched to BB10 plans and I haven't had issues afterwards. If there are people who are still unable to browse with the original plan, then its the network where they are.
It became your concern when u alluded the bad network was because he wasn't using the right plan. Anyway. The network gat issues plain and simple

You are experiencing this because you are using a plan not designed for your phone and so,you wouldn't be able to enjoy all the benefit. You may have being using it but glo is making sure subscribers are not able to use it very soon. For 1000naira,always remember to use the litmonth plan which will give you 200mb. BBCmonth is designed for lesser bb phones. You wan cheat network and so,themselve dey frustrate you. Pele
This things is also affecting people using the original plan. Your argument holds no water.

@op, I have experienced that before too, my advice is check your z10 software updates and see if you need to upgraded to new version, I used same z10 and glo network, was having same issue too until I upgraded to newer version Os. But all the same try and contact glo customers care line, if they are not picking on 333 call the normal cc line, glo isn't as bad as that.
I think u are right about upgrading. For the past two weeks my phones been telling me to upgrade. Just don't have anybody that cam help me to as I need to connect to wifi

Hi NLers,

I don't know if am the only one experiencing bad service from Glo. Since last week, I ve been calling their 333 BlackBerry help desk to complain about the poor service I get jn my area...imagine calling everyday for 2 weeks and you are to use the BlackBerry service for 4 weeks.

The problem am facing is if the signal is on 3G, it shows H with the BlackBerry logo and it won't browse, even if it does, it's super slow after which it would change from sos to emergency call only to searching for network. I am so tired and angry right nw. With that, I get a no voice service too.

I ve downgraded to 2G, it shows E with the BlackBerry logo and the browsing is slow and somethings it doesn't browse. I use a BlackBerry z10 and on the BBC month plan. I don't mind switching bt I can't get a better deal else where. Is anyone experiencing the same problem like me.huh
The same problem wiv u since 2 weeks now. I Use a z10 too. I keep switching on and off my network. If u put it on 2g it won't work.
PhonesRe: Any Experiencing Glo Bad Network??? by Setaje(f): 1:47pm On Mar 29, 2015
It's the area. Once I move out of my area. Its very good. When I come back. Its bad. It wasn't like that before last week sha. As I was always seeing 3g in my area at least. When I move out I see H. Now I hardly see H or 3g. Its just edge I see. Its annoying.

Rampa was from Tibet. You scampered for safety eh? Lol. Thats cool better to be safe than sorry. It's a really interesting area of interest-the occult. For your info though, a lot of these so called MOG are just 'white magicians' to use popular parlance.
Yes now. Many of them are. I just believe though, anything you do, if it will help mankind and u are not hurting anybody. Its ok!. I read about magic and witchcraft. Was made to believe all powers are from God. Its the person carrying it that determines it's use. E.g magic and witchcraft. Black magic- white magic, black witch- white witches. If i had such powers, I will do good to even random people.

Not a major yet. Just have my bsc!.But am leaning towards parapsychology. We don't have it here in Nigeria. It's not common. But they have it at coventry university. Its quite expensive cus it's a relatively new major.

I never stated that all these other forms of sexual deviation or paraphilia wasn't wrong

Homosexuality is consensual. It in no way involves the causing harm or intercourse with a non consenting partner.
......Please emphasis on "consent"
You can't compare it to Erotophonophilia, Necrophilia, Pedophilia or Masochisism like you mentioned.

I only used them to expatiate on the fact that its impossible for a homosexual just like any other person suffering from these paraphilia to just decide to change

You can't just expect a Necrophiliac who since puberty has derived immense sexual gratification from fantasizing on having sex with a corpse to just decide to "change" just because someone who prefers sex with living people demands it of him
That's exactly the same way a homosexual is wired

I am in no way justifying these other abnormal forms of sexual gratification, I am just using it to drive home my point
Ok I get,,,,,,,,,,,

True though. I was threading on things I had no idea off. My first ever problem started when I read lobsang rampa. The third eye. Read almost all the rampa books cus dad had them at home. He was a Buddhist monk. Hmmmn. Then I shifted to alchemy. Amorc, ruscincruts, magical kaballah, holy grail, so many! I read and read but thank God I stopped before it did damage.

Sorry, I will just have to disagree with you on the concept of imagination as a possible "cure" or homosexuality.
its illogical as well as counter-balancing in my opinion
It is one of the methods used in modifying a behaviour. I have read about gays who changed using this. It might not work for him but it is worth trying. I did not say it's a cure. Go and read it again.
