Politics › Re: MASSOB Urges UN To Recognise State Of Biafra by Setaje(f): 8:00pm On Apr 20, 2015 |
CHM11: Ole!!...,na igbos no dey tire!!!....there is NO IGBO in south south Nigeria (EDO, DELTA, BAYELSA, RIVERS, AKWAIBOM, CROSS RIVERS). Those who have languages that look like igbo do not call themselves igbo....
South south Nigeria is not IGBO region, it is home to the Benins, etsakos, Auchis, Isians, Urhobos, Ijaws, itsekiris, isokos, Okpes, Efiks, Ukwanis, Ogonis, Ikwerres, ibibios, and many many many other tribes that are not IGBOS!!!!...
Get this ?
The Itsekiris of Delta state answer igbolike names like ifeanyi, chidi, ikechukwu..they also answer yoruba names like Tosin, Femi, Seun, Yetunde, etc etc...If the yorubas are not trying to claim these people, they respect them as independent people why on earth will the igbos try to claim them as igbo ?...
Y'all should push for your beautiful dream called Biafra, but please not that no Land in South South Nigeria is igbo Land. My brother abeg itshekiri don't answer igbo like names except maybe half breeds. Am itshekiri. My name sounds more yoruba so does most itshekiri people I no. Secondly. There is no use arguing wiv them. There will and never be unity between the south east and south south. There are just too many ethnic groups. We rather be independent than be one. How do u tell an urhobo man or ijaw man to be under igbo. Not to talk of itshekiri or Okpe. It's not possible. Hence the true Niger deltans in this forum don't even argue. We just watch and laugh as they attach by force. The ijaws and other groups are not stupid. Their attachment is just because of oil. Nothing more. Let everybody fight their own battle. |

Politics › Re: Buhari: The North Has An Agenda And Tinubu Is Not Part Of It by Setaje(f): 6:26pm On Apr 19, 2015 |
This is exactly what my dad said. Exactly why my dad kicked against yorubas siding wiv hausas. This hausas are too smart. Wiv Buharis win, they have taken us back hundred years. I just hope yoruba leaders can at least do something for the south west and it's people. If not this hausas don't mind holding power for life. This has always been their tactics. I trust yoruba people who are always vocal. It won't be long before they start insulting Buhari especially when he is not performing as expected and before u no it they will turn to opposition. This time the hausas will just go and meet south east or south south and those ones will gladly follow. Who doesn't want national cake. This has always been hausa tactics. Divide and rule!
The moment yoruba igbo and south south stand together wiv one voice, is the beginning of progress in Nigeria. The hausas no that. This is why I dislike jonathan. He would have formed a formidable united southern Nigeria. But he relegated one part to the ground. Now we are back to square 1. With the way hausas voted. It simply means nobody can attain anything in this country wivout the help of hausas and they will continue to be the owners of Nigeria. It's a shame. People who are 20 years backwards from the south and people who so believe it's their birthright to rule Nigeria. I just laugh when people say if Buhari doesn't perform u will vote him out. Lmao. Let me see how u will vote a man out that comes from the largest ethnic group in Nigeria. In case u don't no. The hausas speak wiv one voice. Anything that concerns the north will bring a northerner apc and pdp together. Something we cannot see a southerner do. We are in big trouble o. I do not trust the north one bit and I have no apologies. |

coolzeal: Isn't that a stereotype? Or perhaps you're presenting your conclusions on what you read on a faceless forum. We are happy people and proud of who we are and I don't see that as bragging. It's not just on social forum. Everybody is proud of their heritage. But when u rub it on other people's faces. Act as if u are better than them. Domineering spirit. It attracts hatred. If in Nigeria, other tribes complain and outside Nigeria where your people are dorminant, they complain about the same thing. Then something is wrong. |

proudlyhandsome: The funny thing about Igbos is that if you come to Europe-UK/Ireland and US/Canada precisely, the 80% of Nigerian businesses in these countries are owned by Yorubas while Igbos do what Yorubas do in Nigeria; go to 8am - 4pm jobs.
You ll hardly see Igbos engaging in businesses in these countries I have mentioned. Gbagi market and Aleshiloye Market in Ibadan alone are as big as Ladipo and Alaba combined. What is the noise all about?
Have you notice that all the Billionaires from North and West don't go to the East to invest their money? As business minded as Dangote is, do you notice that he actually stayed away from South East? Igbos need to address this issue holistically. In a sane and civilise economy. Only the educated igbos will be relevant. Most of the so called business they are doing why can't they replicate such business in advanced countries. Industrious my foot. |

proudlyhandsome: The funny thing about your write is that you had just made this same mistake El cetera was trying to correct; unnecessary chest-beating. Just listen to yourself, "East is economic powerhouse of Nigeria", says who? You i presumed. If Northerners stop bringing food to the East, Westerners stop you from migrating to the West and SS people send you packing from their land, pls how would you survive it cos that was what led to what you called Genocide during the civil war in 60s.
If Biafra leaves Nigeria today without making an attempt to secede with any SS part, Nigeria ll move on without any regret. If Yoruba leaves today, Nigeria ll equally move on without any regret.
Stop this chest-beating over nothing my friend. It has done more damage to Igbo race than good. What is the values of all stocks in Alaba market and Ladipo that Abacha son or common Balogun son (Trying to use the least person among millionaires not even billionaires) won't be able to pay for without leaving wherever they are.
First on the list of what Igbos need to do away with is chest-beating attitude. Dangote and Danjuma investments alone in Nigeria could amount to 90% of all Igbo investments home and abroad but you hardly see Northerners making noise about it. The same thing applicable to Otedollar and Adenuga( lets leave the likes of Dantata,Ayinde, Folawiyo,Okoyas and Alakija out of this), you hardly see Yorubas making noise about it.
Let's apply/bring this chest-beating attitude to individual level so as to see the damage it has done to Igbos. As an individual, you bragged about your success in the midst of people you perceived as unsuccessful businessmen but unknown to you that they are have recorded more success than you in 100 folds but only being modest and quiet about their success. Naturally as humans including you, you would avoid this type of person and that is why you will hardly see any business partnership between Igbo and Hausa/Fulani or Igbo and Yoruba billionaires.
The second paragraph of el cetera write up is a normal thing for a leader to say to inspire his followers. It does not necessarily mean that those things were done. To me that is their biggest problem. They feel they are better than everybody. They feel doing business or having a four by four shop means someone is hardworking while a yorubas man who wakes up by 6 am goes to work and come back by 7pm is termed lazy. They feel the yoruba meat sellers and the conductors are not working for their jobs. I really don't understand when they say yorubas are lazy. If they buy and sell, is it only igbos that buy from them. And they believe all this lies that it makes them look like clowns. Nobody takes them seriously again. They are braking grounds in the world. What ground have they broken that another ethnic group hasn't done. This is pure inferiority complex. |

...just wait, when Biafra is restored, the supreme Chukwu Abiama will restore the glory, dignity and pride of black race. This is what we are talking about. You people brag too much. This is why other people resent your tribe. You are not the best thing that happened since slice bread. You are not better than any other ethnic group. You are not more blessed than any other ethnic group. You are just among many ethnic group God created. Whatever u believe u achieved is not because u are more favoured or because of God's special love. Other ethnic groups in africa are also braking grounds. They might not be as vocal as u people. They don't brag and surely do not come to people's faces to tell them how they are better than the rest. Get it........ Abeg I am tired of igbo this and that. Let's talk about the south south or some other ethnic group and bring out positive vibes about them not this people who believe they are next to god |

echson21: I passed and I was given a stage 3 certificate, but my friend who choosed customer service failed. Maybe the insinuation that, customer service applicants were treated unfairly may be right. I think a lot of people who did not see their kind of qualifications chose customer service as a second option. Thereby making the marking scheme quite difficult. A lot of people did customer service and most people who didn't scale through that I have seen are from customer service. |
