religion wants you to accept concepts dogmatically while atheists want proof to everything. So, both can never reach a consensus on the matter.

But which is more reasonable? Would you rather have a friend who reasons with you when you disagree on various issues in order to come to a consensus on what is really true, or a friend who insists that you must accept every silly idea that pops into his head without any proof?

Which God? The idea of remote God who went into hiding after starting the big bang can't be disproved, but such a God is irrelevant. If you're talking about an all-knowing God who makes mistakes, a loving God who plans to burn most people alive in fire for all eternity, or an all-powerful God who can't forgive sins unless someone who is his 'son', and also himself, is brutally executed, then one must reject that God.

Scientists have a pretty good explanation about how planets came to exist, in the aftermath of the big bang. If you aren't convinced by their explanation, that would not mean the Bible's account of creation is true. The honest position would be to say that you simply don't know how the earth came into existence. It is ok to say you don't know when you don't know.

If the person who wrote that verse created the universe, he would have known that outer space is not some ceiling that was stretched out over the flat earth as the ancient jews believed because they didn't know any science.

I would like to know if the author of that verse was there when God was allegedly constructing all things. If not, then what makes you believe that what he wrote is correct?

How do you know this? Were you there when he was creating those things? Do you know anybody who was there as an eyewitness? If not, how can you be sure that what you said is the real truth?

They were kings, not prophets or priests, and I don't think keeping concubines was explicitly disallowed by the law of Moses. Not sure.

Polygamy isn't considered a sexual sin in the bible. David's sexual sin was the incident with Solomons mom and his baby was punished for it.

Well that was entertaining. I agree with the notion that men of God are not perfect, but his assumption that the Apostle is repentant is fishy. I also don't think that the notion that a pastor can be in a "relationship with God" while also engaging in wild sexual sins is biblical in any way.

Sorry bro. The pup she killed may have been sick, or maybe she didn't feel that she had enough energy within her to feed all of the puppies, or maybe she is food aggressive and the puppy came close to her food. Consider feeding better food more often, and supervising her very closely.

Update: I am not a vet doctor o, I'm just speculating about what may have happened. As a dog owner I can't resist the urge to speculate.

Yes, that's part of it.

Human life is the most valuable thing in the world, and it makes sense to try to protect it.

This is one of the reasons why atheists must speak out. This superstitious country needs us desperately.
