The funniest thing about creationists attacking the theory of evolution is that their creation hypothesis cannot withstand any rational scrutiny. I welcome their skeptical attitude towards evolution and I hope they will apply that skeptical attitude to their creation hypothesis, too.

It is true that scientists have not figured out how life could come from nonliving matter. This doesn't invalidate evolution. Enlightened religious people believe that God set the process in motion by creating the first life form and left the rest to evolution, which is a much better view.

The people who wrote the bible must have noticed that dead bodies tend to disappear over time when they are buried in soil, and inferred that they must have turned into soil, and so they must have been made from soil. If God existed, he would have known that this is not true.

No, this is not true. The earth is very rich in silicon (in the form of silica and silicates) which is essentially not present in the human body. The misconception that man is made from dust is understandable if we accept that the story was written by a man who didn't know any science.

Do you honestly believe that the woman in this story must have been a witch? The comment she made seems innocent to me. Someone could approach you and say something like that without any malicious intent. If she intended to kill the child, why would she make a statement that would implicate her on the same day? Also, while the death of the child may have seemed mysterious to your grandmother, he might have bern sick for some time before he died. Your grandfather probably stopped your grandmother from fighting the accused woman because he knew that she was not to blame for the death of his son.

It means you have a fear of having your (future) kids kidnapped or killed by criminals. The solution is to get over that fear by researching the various things that parents can do to keep their kids safe from such threats.

I'm pleased to say that I enjoyed this video much better than her singing during the Benny Hinn program I reviewed earlier.

However, I have a problem. At 4:32 she spoke some words which I don't understand: "bo shadada vandasanda". After singing some more, at 4:52, she sang these words "o rerererebo shande yama zeke allelu," which I don't understand either. When I asked for the translation, I was told she was speaking in tongues which, fortunately, can be interpreted by those who have the gift of interpretation.

I hereby call upon Nairalanders with the gift of interpretation of tongues to interpret those words for us so we can fully appreciate the song.

Isn't it obvious to you that the difference between dating a man and dating a woman is much smaller than the difference between dating a person and dating an animal? I'm not commenting on the morality of bestiality; just observing that it's not at all comparable to homosexuality.
