Which amounts to what? That a throwaway line in HardMirror's story is probably inaccurate? That HardMirror admits that he may have misremembered it? I would be surprised if the story was 100% accurate. No story that is written by a human being is 100% accurate. No testimony given by a human being is 100% accurate. That's why, as atheists, we value hard evidence more than any kind of testimony.

I'm inclined to delete the parts of HardMirror's testimony that have been found to be highly likely to be inaccurate. Is this satisfactory to you?

The bolded part of the story makes no sense. The river current wouldn't stop you from paddling towards the river bank. This is basic physics.

But none can see the flaws in their own religion and thus arrive at the conclusion that atheists have arrived at. They have just one blind spot.

I have no problem with deism. Practically, it's not very different from atheism. I believe in "REASONING backed by FACTS and EVIDENCE" too.

He said he was coming soon. 2000 years is not "soon" by any honest definition. He also promised that some of his followers would not taste death before his glorious return, but they are all dead, which technically makes him a false prophet.

The funny fact is that one of the main reason why people go into Athiesm is because of the stories they've been hearing about the Last Day And Hell.

Jesus said he would come back soon but it's been 2000 years and it hasn't happened. Throughout that time all Christians believed, just like you do, that Jesus would arrive during their lifetimes and it didn't happen. What makes you so sure that you will be right when so many others who felt the same way you feel, have died of old age and nothing ever happened?

The court part can be made very short. Just say a few words and sign the papers. Then you go to an event center for the main party.
